We have several cabins to choose from that sleep from 2 to 12, we also have 3 authentic Tipis for those of you that love camping. Our log cabins are located right in the heart of Hocking Hills and only 2 miles from Hocking Hills Canopy Tours Zipline. We offer superb amenities and all of our properties are super clean and secluded. The perfect Hocking Hills get away. Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and Cedar Falls are only minutes away and you can hike to the Natural Rockbridge and waterfall right from your cabin, lodge or Tipi.
We stayed for 5 nights and this cabin was awesome. The cabin was spotless and my wife loved the way the bed was decorated! The hot tub is on the covered front porch which makes it usable any time of day or weather.Frank and Renee are great hosts and we will be sure to spend time here in Sky view cabin again!

We stayed in Dogwood which was nice and secluded. You could hear the other cabins if they got rowdy but the back porch with the hot tub was completely private and had a nice view of the trees. The cabin itself was quaint and clean (except for the fridge which was sticky and clearly dirty). The hot tub was super clean and heated up quick and the fire pit had a nice swing next to it. All in all it was a nice quiet weekend in a good sized cabin with quick access to local parks/hiking. Things to note: There is no Cell service and no wifi. You have to drive 3 min up the road to a pull off for service. The road in/out is one lane but 2 way so drive slow. There are no screens on the windows which was disappointing but the cabin has great heat and AC. The water is well water and has STRONG sulfur (rotten egg) smell. It was fine to shower and brush teeth with but we went out and got bottled water to drink.

This is our second trip this year and we stayed in the same cabin as last time. Great hosts and great place to stay. So close to all of the parks. Even though there is no running water we had no problem adjusting.

We stayed in the Otter Lodge for 2 nights . It was great to be able to check in at 2 pm. Our little cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Just enough space for 2. Beautiful view from a private deck with a hot tub . The cabin has a small fridge, microwave , table and chairs and double bed. There is no tv and we set up a hot spot to get internet service. The owners were great. Driving through the area was beautiful and it was easy to get to the various hiking spots . Sure hope we can make it back soon!

We stayed in the Delaware which is for two people. It was perfectly secluded!! We didn’t see a soul while we were there. Very clean. Nice hot top on back porch that was perfect after a day of hiking!! Fire pit and grill which we didn’t use but it was available. Small kitchen, dining, living room area. Direct tv. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back again!!

HICKORY GROVE CABINS are a peaceful getaway nestled in the Hocking Hills and you can enjoy all that the seasons have to offer. Enjoy the secluded Hot Tub on the spacious porch with someone special and snuggle by the fire with a glass of wine for that romantic evening, or bring your family for a day of fishing with your private pond with fountain and bird feeders. This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with all the amenites.
I have stayed in several different cabins in the hocking hills area and the lake view cabin was definitely one of our favorites! The cabin was beautiful & its location to all of the attractions can't be beat! We will definitely be repeat customers!

We stayed at LeMoines Lakehouse 9/30-10/1/2017 and were very happy with the cabin despite the horrible reviews. We went into the weekend expecting the worst and were pleasantly surprised and a little shocked at how bad the ratings were of this place so I wanted to write a detailed review of what really to expect. About the smell: We were expecting sewage and everything we took to smell like sewage. The smell we read about I can only assume was what we encountered which was either 1.) The sulfur from the well water (which is normal in the country) or 2.) The smell of cedar from the wood, because it's a cabin. Now I get it, if you go into this expecting an Air BnB luxury house with wood exterior then you'll be setting yourself with the wrong expectations. If you're looking to get closer to nature while still having the luxury of electric, private bath, actual mattress, and kitchen then this place is perfect for you. About the cleanliness: I as really surprised at how clean this cabin was considering it's surrounded by a pond and many trees. The floor was clean, the bathroom was very clean, the kitchen showed no sign of previous occupants, the towels and linens looked clean (though we did bring our own as preparation after reading previous reviews). The only thing I could say about the cleanliness was the large dust bunnies under the downstairs bed (the reason for my 4 star and not 5). Otherwise yes you will see cobwebs because again, nature, but nothing that screams filthy. What I can't speak to: -We did not use the hot tub, but heard it come on a few times. Towels were provided which was a nice touch. -We did not use the wifi but took the time to be disconnected (no cell service either). It was a great time to just enjoy good company. -We did not fish or use the play area in the grounds around the cabin. Tips for future travelers: -Bring bottled water and lots of it. We didn't rely on the water because we are not used to well water or the smell. So we stopped at a grocery store before hand and were prepared with water not just for hiking, but for every use in the kitchen. We did, however, use the well water when cleaning dishes and washing hands as they provided soap and the smell didn't linger when the water wasn't running. -Bring aluminum foil. Use the fire pit cooking grate and have fun cooking over the fire. -Buy firewood just before getting there. There were not as many bugs as I was expecting outside of the cabin so spend some time making a fire and sitting on the benches surrounding the pit. -Try to arrive during daylight. We arrived at night and while it wasn't impossible to find, losing cell/GPS and relying on the map was a bit harder. -Bring toilet paper/paper towels. We didn't go through what they supplied, but were close to. Save yourself the stress and pack a couple of rolls before leaving your house to bring along. -If you're afraid of smelling like sulfur after a shower, find an essential oil that you prefer and mix it into some non-scent lotion. Also apply to hair and the sulfur will not linger. -Just like any camping trip, expect to come home and take a shower and wash clothes to remove the "nature" smell. Add a little vinegar to your detergent and you're all set. Pros: -Well stocked kitchen supplies meaning dishes, pots and pans, flatware, and soap -Central Heat (or AC if you're staying in the summer) -Clean bathroom equipped with soap, shampoo, conditioner -Deck has seating to eat as does the fire pit Cons: -No indoor table or bar stools so if you're going when it's raining or snowing, you're more than likely eating standing up, or in the living area Who I would recommend this to: -Anyone that loves camping but doesn't want to sleep on the ground or be without electricity and heat -If your main part of the trip is to see the sights, come back and cook, possibly play a board game -Those looking for a fun weekend to be a bit closer to nature and have a comfortable place to stay Who would most likely not enjoy this cabin: -Those that are looking more for a home away from home to spend most or all of their time indoors (as this area does not have cell service, the television is small, and no indoor table) Recap: I would give this place a try. It's very reasonable in pricing and if you have the right expectations about a cabin this will be a really nice place to stay. We would absolutely return here for another weekend exploring Hocking Hills State Park.

To start with, Patrick Haus was previously known as Clover Retreats. Had we known this, we would have never reserved this cabin because you can find 7 years worth of bad reviews listed here on Trip Advisor. When we started our journey through the hills and trees towards the cabin we noticed a sign stating that a 4 wheel drive vehicle was required beyond this point. We were not told this when we reserved the cabin nor is it stated on their website. The Dodge minivan we were driving did manage to make it up the hill but just barely. Upon arriving at the Roberts Ridge cabin we found that the property is not kept up and very run down. The screens on the windows are torn and hanging off the frames. The gutters are full of leaves and are falling off the side of the cabin. The hot tub was very over chlorinated and would probably cause skin irritation. When we opened the door to the cabin the smell of mold was very evident. They claim the cabin was newly remodeled but it smells old damp and musty. If this cabin was remodeled it must have been more than 7 years ago based on the reviews from when it was called Clover Retreats. Within 5 minutes myself and another person started to have trouble breathing due to the mold. We would never had been able to stay there any length of time without going into a full blown asthma attack. We called the number provided in the email several times to talk to the owners and it went to voice mail. We left a message and they never responded. We also sent emails and it bounced back as undeliverable. We are now several hours from home and no place to stay. Hocking Hills has over 800 cabins to stay in, do not WASTE YOUR MONEY AT PATRICK HAUS. We were looking forward to our first time at Hocking Hills and staying in a cabin in the woods. But we ended up staying in a nice Hampton inn in Lancaster that night, and leaving Hocking Hills the next day spending the rest of our time in an awesome Cambria Inn in Columbus. Thank you PATRICK HAUS for ruining our trip!!!
