Wide beaches along the "Flower Coast" attract families and those commemorating the D-Day landings of 1944. Inland, cattle graze in rural idylls and pre-WWII buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Rent a car or take tours from Caen or Bayeux. The landscape around his home in Giverny inspired Monet's Water Lilies, and summer's profusion of blooms is quite lovely. Don't miss Rouen's old town and cathedral, Caen's cathedral, Bayeaux's tapestry and the ancient island-abbey of Mont-St-Michel.

First campsite near the Mont Saint Michel with a covered and heated swimming-pool, located about 4 km from the Mount and only 2.5 Km from the free shuttles bus connection which drives till the foot of the Mount listed as UNESCO Heritage sites. The Mont Saint Michel is also reachable by a bicycle and pedestrian track from the campsite. The Camping aux Pommiers also provides you a service of paying shuttle to the Mount and tickets sales to visit the classified Abbey of Mont Saint Michel. We also provide you a Bar (breakfast), Free-Wifi, bicycles rent, play area & playground and also all information you need to visit the area.
This site is very clean and well run. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. Shower block and toilets are well maintained. Beautiful cycle to Mont St Michel over the cycle track and also the same distance to the quaint town of Portison in the opposite direction. A few restaurants in close proximity in Beauvoir. We loved our stay there.

We came here originally with our grandchildren, which it is very good for younger children but we had to pay £35 each for a swimming band. We originally went to the pool for a swim on our first day to be told we needed to book in advance. So we did for the next day. The weather had been so good so we went to the beach etc but when we got back thought it would be nice to have a swim 24 hours later which was full. I was stood at the swimming pool and asked if I could just jump into cool down but was also told it was full. As I explained to the staff at least 15 people had left so how could it be full the response was because it is. On the whole most staff are pleasant but the swimming pool staff are surly and bit very helpful I expected better service from such a brand named Siblu clearly very mistaken

We are delighted to welcome you to our Campsite, « our house ». Our main priority is to be able to offer a very well-maintained place, to share real moments with you, to do our best to welcome you. Our philosophy : to give priority to human relations, to advise you on the area, to welcome people and not customers. Located beside the river, a calm, peacefull and quiet place, the destination is also one of Normandy's best playgrounds for nature sports enthusiasts: fishing, mountain-biking, paragliding, climbing, canoening and kayaking....A favorite spot for Nature Lovers. We accept your comments (positive and negative ones) but we want to let you know that we welcome you at home to make you discover our destination, make your stay happy and confortable and not to judge you. Our best regards
Although this typical accommodation is well maintained and located in a beautiful scenery of Clécy, management is a BIG issue. We got yelled at several times by one of the employee, very aggressive. It is not an isolated incident as you can read similar comments in the past few years. This should never happen, no matter what circumstances, and no matter what customer. Communication skills are key in tourism. I would STRONGLY suggest receptionists of this place to follow classic 101 classes in communication (customers relationship, marketing, ...). All in all, I would NOT recommend this campground.

Great high ropes / accrobranche afternoon. We did 3 routes within a couple of hours. Get progressively more difficult & we skipped the 4th as the third was pretty tough for our 11 year old. Good equipment, friendly staff & other activités on site, quad biking etc.

We stayed for one night as a stopover traveling home. We were accommodated in a little house (not a trailer) which was clean, sufficiently maintained and quiet with simple, modern, inexpensive interior. The service was friendly and spoke English. Cabourg and other attractive locations can be reached by car. The accommodation is worth the price if you clean yourself (not much work after one night) and bring your own sheets (we had sheets that we used in our holiday accommodation). We will use this location again when traveling back from vacation.

You look for an unusual accommodation(hosting), come to discover to the heart of an arboretum of 4 ha ( wooded park) in the edge of the forest, one of the 4 Indian teepees, fitted out for your comfort, in family between friends or in couple. Return to nature, woken by the birdsong. Every teepee has its nice quiet spot and orders in a green setting, and of its barbecue, 2 bigger teepees are equipped to make a fire(light) for the center and 2 more intimate for the lovers (without fire(light) but with a big bed). In the morning in the sunrise of the sun a basket furnished with your breakfast will wait for you. Let rock you by the nature and the disorientation

Met up with family and friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We stayed in a mobile home for 2. Compact but adequate. BBQ included. Arrived on a Sunday. Had not realised that we needed to take sheets. Reception offered some sheets for cost of 8 euros. Don't forget to read small print to ensure you do not get caught out. Others in our group took their caravan whilst others camped. Great that there are so many options of how to stay, this suited our needs. Small pool area. Small shop at reception. Snacks available on site. Enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

We stayed here twice for overnight stops this summer. Both times the toilets were dirty, seats falling off their hinges, sinks filthy. On one occasion there was pooh on the floor, which wasn’t cleaned up. Bins were overflowing with rubbish. The pool was dirty, with green slime around the edges. I won’t be returning and I advise you not to. We stayed last year, which was fine - I wonder if it is under new management?
