Wonderful place if you have dogs. With limited options in St Anthony, we were really happy with Rsleigh as a picturesque place to explore the area. We stayed in the vacation house and wow, it was well equipped. Photos online don't do it justice. Get it rather than the two bedroom if you can.

Cabin was clean and the sunset was spectacular. However the bbq had not been cleaned for what looked like years. The dirt was corroded in the racks. I certainly would not cook anything on it. Food in Bovavista was terrible.

Located on 30 acres and surrounded by forest, it's easy to forget you are still in Corner Brook, the heart of Western Newfoundland. You can choose between 5 comfortable two-bedroom chalets, our two-unit, one-bedroom duplex or any of our 37 fully-serviced RV Sites. All chalets are equipped with full kitchen, living room, table & chairs, and bathroom, 43" Smart TV, and wireless internet.
This was our third visit to Corner Brook where we stayed at the chalets. The chalets offer you a place to stay that is as comfortable as being home. We were able to spend time visiting with family and then come home at night for a good rest. Very clean and roomy. It’s nice to actually have a chair to sit on verses the side of the bed if you are at a hotel. Being able to prepare your own meals in the kitchen is a great bonus. I would like to see a bit more silverware and dish ware in the cabins as there is not quite enough if you are looking to have guests in for a meal. My only other suggestion would be for the driveway / parking areas be maintained better to reduce the many pot holes and ruts you must try to avoid. That being said it won’t keep me from booking again as I find the chalets a great place to stay. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to a return visit to Corner Brook and once again staying at the Appalachian Chalets.

Midway on the Viking Trail just north of Gros Morne National Park in a pristine setting on the Portland Creek River. The river banks served as a fishing retreat formerly operated by the famous American sports fisherman, Lee Wulff. The adventures of the American fisherman, who first established a camp on the river in the mid l940's, earned the stream a reputation as a first-class salmon river. At our campground, you can enjoy fully serviced RV Sites for all sizes of campers and motor-homes. Trees surround both out pull through and back in RV sites creating privacy and tranquility. Our non serviced tent sites are located along the Portland Creek River and offer beautiful views of the long range mountains. Six cottages are available (24′ x 26’/7m x 7.9m), each with two bedrooms, fully furnished and equipped. Each cottage has a covered deck, chairs and a barbecue are supplied for your convenience. Feel at home in the tranquil wilderness of the Viking Trail. An open concept luxury lodge is also available (34′ x 40’/10.3m x 12.1m). Two levels, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, great room, dining, kitchen, covered deck, as well as an uncovered deck located at the back of the lodge. At our main office you will find a small convenience store, laundromat, and public bathrooms with showers. Be sure to stop by for a loaf of freshly baked homemade bread or baked good. Wifi is available at the main office only, we offer indoor and outdoor seating for your comfort.
Stopped here overnight on our way from Deer Lake to L'anse aux Meadows, breaking up what would have been a very long drive into two more manageable legs. Mountain Waters was perfect for this. We stocked up on groceries in Deer Lake so we'd have more selection than at other grocery stores along the way. Once at Mountain Waters, we found our cabin meticulously clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We took a quick walk down to the Portland Creek Pond and then relaxed in the comfy chairs on our porch. All of the staff were very friendly and easy-going.
