A community initiated eco camp development and run keeping the eco-tourism principles in mind. Minimum artificial infrastructure have been put up in the camp. The camp accommodations blend in with the forest setting due to the careful use of building materials such as mud and thatch, we have also ensured that our color schemes are earthy and merge with our surroundings. There are 9 mud huts placed on two acres of land giving one adequate privacy, and yet giving a feeling of openness and space. Mud huts have electricity, fan and attached toilet and bath facility. One of our foremost objectives is to have a low impact on our ecology thus we have adopted only low light cfl's at common places like the dining hut, buffet hut, toilets and kitchen.

Myself, wife and daughter on our own vehicle. We paid, Rs. 10400/- for 2 nights. The rates are higher, but they gave me discount. Good: 1. LOCATION: 5-6 KM away from main highway, inside a village. Not far away from main city. The road to resort is between dense forest and its condition is not good. But the view around is really good. I spotted a deer once. Camp's USP is its location 2. VIEW: Excellent. They gave me river facing hut. My hut name was Yuhina. Please ask same hut or other river facing hut. 3. NATURE: Its in the dense forest. You feel inside of forest all the time. The water stream gives really good feeling. 4. HUT: Excellent. Mud hut are their USP. bathrooms are clean. 5. Since it was very cold, they gave me room heater and hot water bottle for night. Good gesture ! I have habit of stayinig in 5 star, so few things I didn't like: 1. FOOD: Taste is good and home made. Less options. Once they repeated their last meal's dish in a meal. Over all not much complaints. Once I was away so I called them to keep my food when I return. They served me at 4 PM. I liked the gesture. 2. STAFF: Staff is courteous. Staff is dressed in home casuals. There is no dress code for them. Looks like locals. Fine but this they can easily change. 3. Quilt provided was good, but its cover was not well washed. I removed the cover to use it. Not good. 4. LIGHTENING: Very less inside hut and resort. After dusk it gives feeling of living inside forest. Scary for city dwellers, enjoyable for others. 5. MAINTENANCE: They can do a lot on maintenance and upkeeping of resort. You will find decaying leaves every where. Few things you will see here and there decaying or rottening. Not saying the resort is not clean, but still a lot could be done. Few things you will find are just ignored like sitting bench not cleaned at few corners of resort. Again, it will give you feeling of living in a forest. Some might like it, others not. SUMMARY: Must visit atleast once to refreshing your mind for city dwellers especially.

What a delight it was, in the middle of nowhere in the jungle, this is a nature lovers paradise. This place is a sanctuary from the maddening crowds. You will be woken up by the birds in the morning, so many different species can be seen. There is lots to do, hikes, games, or nothing at all. Choice is yours.Food was superb, with a remote place like this the staff have made tremendous effort to keep everyone happy. The rustic artsy decor in the dining hall adds to the charm. Would definitely recommend this place to get your children to connect to nature. Bonfires in the evening were fun.

Good stay but not safe
Reviewed By vbjkyn90awesome ambience, staff, great camping experience, delicious food but but but not at all safe we lost apx. 10k stolen in camp and they have camera set up but you will have to travel Rudrapur to watch specific recording. Hence not at all recommended.

We have four independent Lakeview huts with attached toilets and four Safari (luxury) tents with attached toilets and 10 simple camping tents with common toilets. This campsite offers ideal setting for leisure as well as adventure holidays.
