I stayed there with my friends and my friend booked the hotel so I have no idea what the price is. I stayed in room 3112 on 29 Dec, 3-5 Dec. Anyway, I will break my review up into pros and cons so that you can read it easily. Pros: -fully furnished cottage (there are pots, pans, microwave, kettle, television, slippers etc.) -comfortable beds (the pillows are made up of beans, I think. It's normal in Japan. Just FYI) -Absolutely breathtaking views! -the bathroom is designed according to a traditional Japanese bathroom so that you can fully enjoy the Japanese bath experience! -there is a convinience store near the cottage so if you are hungry, you may walk to get some food (I'm not sure if its 24/7 though) -5 mins drive away from AEON mall. -courteous staff -wide selection for breakfast (they have salads, pastry, fries, bacon, soup, drinks, cornflakes and fruits) -heater/aircon in the room was easy to use Cons: -television were all in Japanese -there was no wifi in the cottage -the cottage looks old from the outside (but trust me, it's really cozy on the inside) Overall, the stay was really good. I had a great time staying in Cottage Himuka and I would want to come back soon!

We stayed here for 2nites, our 1 room bungalow was up a very steep little hill where you park right nxt too. The path was very narrow an a very sharp turn, an pretty steep albeit only a very short drive, was a bit of a challenge but manageable, but at night we left the car at bottom of main parking area as there was hardly any street lighting, just to be on safe side. The wooden bungalow had tatami style bedding plenty of it as was a a cold nite, electric heating floor mats, an extra little floor gas heater, a small single camping style gas canister stove/kettle heater small sink. In main building they had a storage room providing all sorts of cutlery, water jugs, other camping stuff etc which you could freely use, an return. There was 1 internal shower in the building be used by all, and toilets. There was an outside traditional squat block nearer the bungalows. As our stay was short only mainly for sleeping in the Tackchiro area, it did the job. Loved getting up early to walk around the woods, very beautiful scenery, our balcony faced the volcano Mount Aso, where you could clearly see its smoking cloud. Think this camp would be good in the hotter weather. But as was very cheap good for short stay in Autumn.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family. Area is in a Marina and a little difficult to find, about a good 10 minute drive to the nearest grocery, but trailer is clean, park is clean BUT TOILET is SMALL, family friendly, staff is friendly also. You can have barbecue at their common space but i think it would be best if you buy your own meats or fishes at the grocery their barbecue sets need improvement. They also have a brick oven for pizzas but I have no idea how you order for the pizzas. Overall a fun place to stay.
