Best site we’ve been to in North West Spain

Reviewed By Mark D

We are on a 1 month campervan trip in North/West Spain and came here for a 1 day stay - and this is the best campsite we have been to in 4 weeks! Absolutely stunning location - overlooking the coast, sea and mountains. The site itself is immaculate with a beautiful pool, windmill and the sites are spacious and well looked after. The showers are hot, toilets clean. The welcome was good - no English, but got by in my Spanish. Very good value @20€ for 2 with electricity and the shop wasn’t open as it is the low season here. Wifi actually works well around the campsite and not only in the reception or bar - about the only one in all the campsites we have been in! Will certainly return - quiet and very beautiful!!

Superb Views

Reviewed By wynyardlad

Touring Spain and Portugal when we came across this site. Receptionist committed my biggest sin talking to someone on her mobile whilst booking us in. It was the middle of June and the shop, bar not open. Driving round the site looking for a pitch everything very close together ie vans, caravans but quite a nice site toilets are clean and with hot water. This site has the most amazing views BUT there are nose to nose caravans and I never seen anyone using them but all obliterating the gorgeous views, quite a few of these vans are past their best and should be removed and open these views up for all to enjoy. Just out of the site entrance turn right and find a most amazing bay that only locals use or walk along the path the other side of the camp fence and there is another bigger beach but just take in the scenery as you walk along the cliff. There is a bus service to Portonovo but very irregular. We would come back to this site just for the beach and scenery.

This was an unexpected surprise in our trip. Stopped late as we didn't make it to the next town and woke up to a wonderful, quiet, green morning. The space is very pleasant, lots of shade, clean and great food… The natural, relaxing break we needed, with a nice nearby town to explore. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

Rented a bungalows, very good place, small but equipped with 4 beds and cleaning every day, like a regular hotel. The terrace which had the bungalow is really very nice to drink a last wine when coming home or having breakfast in the morning. Camping shop sells very tasty fresh bread and other things you might need. Swimming pool looks good, however I didn't use it. The location of the camping is great, close to Santa Cruz and very centrally located to visit Coruna or the beachs. Definitely a place to come back.

Very pleasant mountain camping

Reviewed By François P

Small and quiet camping on the edge of the beautiful Fragas do Eume park. We rented a spacious wooden bungalow. The pool is nice even though the water is not very warm. Olga and her staff are very kind and helpful. They gave us lots of nice advice for visiting the area and beyond.
