Be kinder to people asking a question

Reviewed By Clmd123

So iv just left after 2 days camping , yes it was fairly good and clean. Girls in the coffee dock were lovely. I have one Complaint, on the Saturday night it was starting to rain when the music was about to start so I nicely asked the fella in the cowboy hat with the hi vis on could I move a bench inside so the kids would not get wet. I dont care if I get wet I'm an adult. I was told to ask the owner so i did and the owner said no I couldn't move a bench Inside, and no kids allowed even tho I counted 8 kids inside with their family. So I sat in the rain with the kids for a bit so they could listen to the music as they loved it, then another family moved a whole table and 2 benches right up beside the music without asking(fair play to them I shouldn't of even bother asking and just done it but I was trying to be respectful) when that happened I pulled the fella in the cowboy hat and asked how come they were allowed inside without asking and nothing to was said to them. He mumbled something and said sort it with the owner but he worked there also so I don't know why he couldn't give me a decent answer he was very rude and arrogant. Their was also a family with young baby left out in the rain and they eventually left.it was unfair considering the Friday night people were jammed in. The site says it's family friendly but when they don't care about children and babies getting wet and be very rude about it , not very family oriented to me. There was enough room for everyone because they don't actually stick to "covid regulations" not that I care about that because I don't wear a mask either. I eventually grabbed my camping chairs and sat in because the kids cried when I suggested we leave, I then had a lot of people from different families who witnessed everything come up to me to say that they seen what happened and they were disgusted at how I was spoken to. So train yourself john roche and Mr cowboy hat to be be a bit more respectful when talking to people who are only asking a question.

Bad Value for what they Charge

Reviewed By shanefP7015HW

Arrived on the 16th March left 20th March had no choice but to stay as a result of an issue with my Motorhome. First of all the staff were very friendly and helpful, however this does not make up for the lack of good facilities. There are quite a number of full time residents living in caravans and Motorhome and this is obvious with the amount of clothes hanging from close lines that they have strung up. The showers and toilets remind me of my first visit camping in France in 1971, very basic with dribbling showers. The site overall looked tired and dirty and with charging €18.00 per night they could do more.

Camping Paloma

The Campsite is situated 400m from the fantastic beach.Set in the wonderfully sheltered straits of Gibraltar, the area has magnificent views of Africa. The campsite covers a grassy area of 49.600m2, with an abundance of trees. It has everything you need:restaurant, bar, supermarket, swiming pool, laundry, free hot water, good security and organized trips. The bungalows are totally equiped.

Don't bother going site is rubbishDear prices. Old fashion showers. Says it caters for Spanish English French, not in my books. Dust and dirt everywhere. Only best bit was the beach. Receptionist wouldn't speak in English.

Not worth the price

Very disappointed with the Kampaoh tents. The way they are advertised is as if you will have your own space in a nice and clean area, where you can enjoy some privacy and relaxation. However, if this is what you want, you better go to a hotel. Firstly, the tents are located in a campsite and surrounded by many other Kampaoh tents all very very close to each other. So close that I didn’t sleep at all due to hearing neighbours snoring. Furthermore, the website states that partying is not permitted but our neighbours were up until 3am making a lot of noise with music and nothing was done about it. The area outside the tent and the seating area for eating were all extremely dirty. Inside the tent looked very nice however, it was also very dirty. Sheets were stained and the fridge was covered in dust. The beds are rock hard and very hard to sleep on!! For 100€ a night I would expect people from Kampaoh to have their own toilets/showers and not to be sharing with the entire campsite, since Kampaoh tents are located in a campsite where people pitch their own tents or take their own caravans. Furthermore, one of the sets of toilets/showers were out of order so there was only one for the whole campsite. Although not very important, the tents were covered in dust and did not look as luxurious as in the photos. Very disappointed, will not be going back

Camping Playa Taray

Great location

Reviewed By Stellads73

We booked this camping because of the great location, and what caught our attention online was the tents, they looked so cozy, which they were, they did not disappoint us. But the rest of the camp cite did no impress us much. Before arrival, we asked, if it would be okay to bring a small barbecue, which they confirmed. At arrival the staff told us, that we could not make a barbecue on the tent camp, but we could go on the free spots by the autocampers. This is not a nice plase to barbecue with a small grill, to sit on the ground, among other peoples campsites. Therefor our dinner was wasted. A call to the staff could be to make a place with the tents by the sitting area, where its allowed to make a barbecue. Our neighbors decided to play loud music the whole weekend, this should not be allowed. Music is okay, but have a little recpect for other people. We made a complaint to the staff 2 times, the answer was, quiet from midnight, so they could'nt do anything about it. One evening the family was not even in the tent, they just left the music on. The cafeteria served nice food and the staff were nice. The beach is lovely. Overall a nice stay.

We stayed in a bungalow which has 2 bedrooms, living area with kitchenette and toilet/shower room and porch area. Basic but with all you need to cook and relax. Very clean. Excellent maintenance throughout camping, clean and bright. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.
