We stayed here for 3 nights in a caravan. Staff had left a diagram mud map which isn’t 100% right, for us as we arrived after 5.30pm. We later found we’d been put in a storage site and receptionist apologised and offered to place us in another place but due to having to move we stayed put. The facilities were very clean but the noise from Johnson Rd the motorway and a road behind and the planes made it very noisey. The old part was quite tidy but no uniform approach to the grounds, no car park signs etc and when one is towing a tandem caravan that makes it a bit hot under the collar. This was once a lovely caravan park in the past. Having permanent people their in some very shabby caravans didn’t add to the appeal. But at night it was quiet and it was clean and they offer plenty of types of accommodation option’s if you can find them. Friendly staff.

The Forest Camp is a great smoke-free venue for families, travelers, individuals and groups. Located 2.5 kms from the village, we have a range of cabins, historic forestry huts, self- contained units, 5 kitchens/lounges and a fully accessible lodge. We offer large non-powered campsites and limited powered sites. Ideal for walkers, trampers, mountain bikers, 4wd and motorcycle clubs.
Good amenities on-site and overall good quality for money. Very friendly and accommodating staff who worked around our late arrival. It is a beautiful location and just a handy short drive out of town. We would definitely stay again!

Christchurch's premier holiday park is located on the outskirts of the ever changing Christchurch CBD. Tasman Holiday Parks - Christchurch is the only place in town where you'll find a great selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance, a heated indoor pool, spa, snookball, indoor & outdoor play areas and 100% free WiFi. We have accommodation options for nearly everyone, offering motels, self-contained units and basic cabins with shared facilities. We also have a large selection of both powered and nonpowered sites for campers.
Not a particularly inspiring stay overnight in the holiday park. Sites were all very close together. Staff not particularly helpful with cash for laundry - in other holiday parks we have been able to get cash via eftpos from the reception, but they told us we had to walk to the ATM 15 minutes away instead. Enjoyed the drive through check in and the WiFi was good.

Waiau Motor Camp - Escape to our little piece of country. We are North Canterbury's oldest township with a rich history. Visit the form Jail, historic woolshed and other listed local landmarks. We offer powered and unpowered sites, or stay in one of our cabins, used to accommodate Nasella Tussanite workers back in the 1960's. We are an ideal centre point for regional attractions, being only 35 minutes to Hanmer Springs, 60 minutes to Kaikoura and 20 minutes to Mt Lyford Skifield. Go fishing in the Waiau River or try your luck hunting. Or just come & enjoy the peace and quiet of our small piece of paradise.
This smallish site in a town that was at the epicentre of the Kaikoura earthquake has much to offer. Some of the pitches are separated by hedges, giving privacy for those who prefer it, and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. There is a well equipped children’s play area, riverside walks, plus an interesting walk around the historic heritage of the town. Well worth a trip up Inland Scenic Route72. We’ll stay an extra night to sample the on-site food truck which operates on Fridays and Saturday’s.

Welcome to Alpine Adventure Holiday Park, your family holiday destination in Hanmer Springs in the beautiful unspoiled South Island of New Zealand. Situated just 2.5km outside the town in a quiet, bush-clad valley at the foot of Jack’s Pass, the park is set on the site of an historic staging post once used by drovers and musterers bringing stock through to Molesworth Station. Even today this is still the largest working farm in the South Island High Country of New Zealand. We are pleased to offer a large range of Hanmer Springs Accommodation options to suite all tastes and budgets. The park boasts the best facilities around including a pool, games room, adventure playground, bikes and more.

First time we have stayed and had tidy facilities but the cabin we stayed in was like a shoebox so extremely small with two small windows also had two sets of bunks so sleeps five!! Would not stay in this cabin again as had to supply our own beding and no heating and we wondered why we were freezing all night - Found out in the morning the window latch was missing so the window could not close Also only one power point and it was at ceiling height so lucky for us we had a power board so we could charge our phones or boil the jug. Feels like we paid good money but didnt get what we expected so probably would not go back again?

We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect. The studio room with well equipped kitchen and large bathroom was lovely. Clean spacious , even a hot pool if we wanted close by in the park. Hostess recommended a takeaway food bar 3 doors down for dinner and they were best we had on our entire NZ trip. Would certainly highly recommend and will return for sure. Thanks so much guys for an awesome stay . Dawn and Don Whitianga
