Living up to its billing as “The Natural State”, the state is a nature wonderland with three national forests, nearly 9,000 miles of pristine streams and rivers, awe-inspiring settings in the Ozark and Quachita mountains and sparkling lakes. The menu of vacation experiences is an exciting one. For great golf, spas, horse racing and the Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs is the place to go. Outdoor enthusiasts love the Ozark Mountains where activities like canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing are popular. The mountain village of Eureka Springs, with its streets lined with Victorian homes, is brimming with boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Wine enthusiasts love the Arkansas Wine Country, encompassing the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus, where German style wines are produced.
From its ancient mountains to the Delta flatlands leveled by the Mississippi River, the state has a diverse topography with numerous scenic drives. Try the Pig Trail, Ozark Highlands and Sylamore scenic byways in the Ozark National Forest designated by the U.S. Forest Service.
Golfers love the state because greens fees are extremely affordable for great courses. A few excellent public access courses are Sage Meadows in Jonesboro, Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville and the Mountain Ranch Course in Fairfield Bay.

Change of ownership with renovation in September 2019 A pet friendly, environmentally conscious Eureka Springs Cabin destination for adventurers
This place worked great for us as a place to stay between our "adventures". We had ample room to park our truck with kayaks and the place was great for our family and dog. The place is on the edge of town which we preferred being close to things! Short drive to downtown and other places that we wanted to experience but gave us the space and nature experience we wanted in our place to stay. We would stay here again and hope to!

Room was clean and bathroom had plenty of fresh towels. upper rooms have a great view, we watched the sunrise from Balcony. Ice was available.

The Knotty Squirrel Cabins are newly built modern units blending an old time feel with modern amenities. They are just one block off of the historic Court Square within the scenic Ozark mountain town of Mountain View, Arkansas. Guests can easily walk to music venues, shops, art galleries, restaurants, and the famous Pickin' Park where musicians gather to play. Two single Queen bed cabins are perfect for a couple stay or use the twin mattresses in the ladder-accessible loft for the kids. The two deluxe cabins are designed for the large family or group in mind. Two private Queen bed rooms sleep up to four and the queen bed and twin mattress in the staircase-accessible loft sleep 4 more. One cabin has a pull out sofa with room for 2 more. All of the cabins have a well-furnished kitchenette with coffee pot, mini-fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils. They all also have roomy living areas and relaxing front porches. We have two King bed suites that are a must have if you enjoy a large spacious king size bed, a recliner and large accessible bathroom. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room area, with a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. The Nest is a cozy space that includes a queen bed, built in desk, shower, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. You do have to climb stairs to reach this space. Though it is smaller it still has everything you need!
Super cute place. We stayed in untit #3. Very good location near the town square. Very well though out ammenities. Why only 4 stars? The queen loft bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could not move without a loud squeak. My husband has a bad back and does a lot of tossing/turning so not much sleep for us. Unit was clean with the exception of a silverfish in the dishes (they probably hadn'tbeen usrd in a while). Clean beds, clean linens...I was pleased with the unit and only gave 4 stars because of the issies listed. We would have slept in another bed if we had not been staying with our elderly parents. So probably not a big deal if children were staying in the queen loft bed.

My husband and I stayed in the Red Leaf Spa cabin for our 10th anniversary in May and all I can say is Wow! The cabin was beautiful and they absolutely thought of everything! The property is very well maintained by a nice gentleman, owners brother I believe...anyway, he was a real pleasure to talk to. Unfortunately, we did not get his name but he can tell you all about the property (40 acres maybe?) and cabins. Just super nice people! I would recommend to everyone and we definitely plan on returning! It was also our first time in Arkansas; what a beautiful state and some of the friendliest people you could meet!

BOC is a log cabin resort in Ponca near the Buffalo National River. We rent canoes, kayaks, and rafts during the spring canoe season. We have the Buffalo River Canopy Tour which is the 1st in Arkansas. The cabins are for couples, families, corporate groups, weddings, honeymoons, and family reunions on the upper Buffalo River. This is one of the most scenic places to visit in middle America!
We had an amazing time on the Buffalo river and the lodging with BOC was excellent. Very nice two bedroom cabin overlooking the valley. (Arkansas Cabin). Only negative is the fire place doesn’t draw well, you will need to open a window or door. The staff was excellent to work with. While we were there in late April I can only imagine Sept/Oct. for dinner, the Low Gap Cafe is a must! 5 star food!

Nice place on the banks of the Mississippi River. Cement pull through pads with full hookups make for an easy overnight stop. A little pricey but doable. Easy in and out with no frills...just a beautiful view and room to walk the dogs. We would stay here again.

Treehouse Cottages, est. 1990, were designed and hand built by owners Terry and Patsy Miller. Eureka Springs’ original treehouses are built on 5 wooden poles 22-26 feet off the ground, nestled in a forest of trees. Two locations provide our guests with different lodging options. In town, 3 treehouses are located on a wooded hillside, completely enveloped in a canopy of hardwood trees, yet only minutes from the historic downtown. There is also a 2 story ground level cottage which overlooks the terraced flower garden, and features a hot tub on its own private deck. Just a mile away at our "hidden forest" location are 4 treehouses tucked away in a 33 acre tall pine forest. The ideal place for complete seclusion, enjoy the canopy of lofty trees amidst the quiet sounds of the woods.
Cute cottages. Warm welcome but no warm water. Criticized by owner for broken glass after a broken windshield. We cleaned up 90percent of the glass. I offered to pay for their cleanup of the remainder. Owner suggested that I write a good review instead. That wouldn’t have accurately described our time there. Will never revisit.

This weekend was amazing. Our stay with the Blue Lady was great. We stayed here last summer as well and enjoyed it then and now. The owner is great on top of all our needs and accomodations. We had our neice and her husband and a 2 year old and a 4 mo old and everything we needed. We had a slip for our boat, the pool, playground our own grill everything was awesome. Our 2 room cabin was clean, great bed, perfect towels and bedding. Kitchen has all you need for all cooking.
