Overhall one of the best camping in the country. For 25 years that i have tried and still love it. Always improving. Realy calm and peaceful, clean and with nice people. With a pool where you can enjoy and the beach right next door. At the end of the day you can see the beautiful sunset. Love to be here...its my peace. Had create really good memories here

Stayed two nights to many on this tired outdated and expensive campsite. EHU for motor homes caravans and tents. Basic basic poorly maintained pitches. Moved twice in the time we were here 30/4/2022. There are accommodation modules hired out to excitable drunk “adults” on a rave with music blaring till 0300hrs in morning. Reported to management not interested and the same for following night. Site has permanent caravans and tents that personally I would not keep chickens in. Third and last Orbitur site I will be stopping in. Only plus point is you can park up catch a bus and ferry to visit Lisbon. Good surfing beaches close by.

West Coast is the Best Coast! With a wonderful staff and the ever present scent of fresh food, amazing fruit and the sweet aroma from the sea, this is an amazing inexpensive alternative to get to know the real Portugal. Dont be scared: all stafd speaks a bit of english and everyone will do their level best to get you feeling right at home!

Terrible experience. Since the beginning it was evident the lack of control and security after the covid pandemy: hundreds of people walking and living together without mask or keeping distances. We arrived around 12:00 and we were assigned the worst spot that a camping fan can dream about: caravans and roulottes all around, no trees and sun all day, no grass but hard soil with lot of roots and stones. Cherry on top: people not respecting the common sense of being silent at least after 23:00 (we managed to sleep at 2:00 am only). I would never recommend this to anyone.

Grazie Pedro e Ana

This review will have as base a mobile home / apartment lodge and as such the camping amenities review particular to that camping, such as bathrooms and showers, could not be assessed. It was attempted to have as much written though. PROS - Supermarket very well stocked with mostly portuguese brands (not spanish ones like in the SPAR supermarket) - SnackBar with good options (snack meals could be much better though) - Games parlour with 2 snookers, one punchbag game, darts, 4 tables of tablefootball, 2 pinball machines and 1 multiple game arcade cabinet (PandoraBox 200 in 1), 1€ grants 2 credits. - Tight security when needed, relaxed normally. - safe personnel, you are required a certificate of covid testing at least to join the camping. - home equipped with sattellite tv, multiple countries, 100+ channels. - fire extinguisher in every house - good ideas in storage positioning - magnetic shutter in shower - very nice pools with jacuzzi EXPECTED LEVEL - 4 people cooking utensils and dishes, etc. - no failure of hot water, neither in dishsink nor in shower - generally very clean place - profession and kind staff CONS - some of the houses' porches in poor condition. After flagging the situation part was fixed straight away, the other part in 48 hours. nevertheless, it was expected that a place with so many children would review the status of the houses before new guests come in... - toilet and wc / bath in opposite sides of the mobile home. you need to leave the toilet, touch two handles and then manage to wash your hands... - very small fridge for a 4 people home (3 / 4 feet high) - wifi incredible short in IP slots for the number of people in the camping (even if you leave it on, eventually disconnects) - matresses are in poor condition, require serious review. - shower water pressure must be increased. This will get 3 stars, needs some changes to be at 4 stars in my opinion.

The site has given over a lot of space to mini cabins. The toilet blocks need an overhaul now. Particularly as the price has rocketed because Orbitur have stopped the membership scheme which was good value for once a year visitors. In the past it was a great stop to visit the town of Evora. A really great town with a lot of history. A pity. We will have to find a better stop for next year if we are to stay more than one night. Staff are still very helpful but take care with the narrow entrance.

Noise, noise and more noise. Some quietness between 1am and 7am. After 7am some crazy bunch on the opposite margin of the lake starts pumpin techno-hangover music non-stop so you can ear it from Australia. Inside the park 1 in every 4 tents has music playing like a family disco and screaming like crazy on top of that. And nobody gives a damn. Between breakfast and dinner, several jetskis strugle in a noise competition. The nearby access to lake is packed with jet skis altough they are forbiden. On a long weekend (10-13 July) with foreseable hot weather (35ºC) ice run out definitely on saturday morning. Needs refurbishing, good camping management, noise control, rules enforcement and lots of training in client service. The landscape is wonderful.

Clean park, warm and clean waters in the pool, toilets clean, hot water in the shower. I can’t give max classification due to the abandoned or semi abandoned cats and dogs that are allowed to walk free in all park

Our dog was attacked by a vicious 100kg rottweiler owned by a dutchman on the neighbouring pitch who had such a bad knee that his 40kg wife was forced to walk the dog. The new campsite owners Joop and Robert refused to let us move pitches saying that they were all reserved even though the campsite remains half empty. We have asked for the a refund of part of the 3 month advance payment we made. They refused saying we couldn't prove we had paid. I emailed them the receipt and now we are prisoners here because they won't give us our money back!!!!!
