Wellington Country House is situated in, a farming village in the heart of the Cape Winelands, just 45 min from Cape Town International Airport. Wellington is known for its long sunny days, fresh fruit, “Stokkies” production, Bains Whisky and the best Chenin Blanc in the world. Wellington Country house consists 4 guest bedrooms, the owners have a separate suite. The pool deck and three of the rooms have views of the neighboring vineyards and the Limietberg mountains. All our double rooms are air-conditioned and meals are available. Full board option available on request, we require 72 hours notice. No self-catering available, but we have many restaurants offering delicious meals. Wellington Country House provides quick access to a fun 6.2 km walking/running route for exercise. Many MTB and cycling routes provides great riding. Shops, pharmacy and doctors closeby (1.8km). Our style is Hygge, easy and relaxed. No bachelor-parties, hen-parties noise, no drugs/dagga etc allowed on property. No nudity please. We are set in a picturesque valley surrounded by orchards and vineyards, although we are not on a farm as such. If you need a place to relax and unwind in quiet, tranquil surroundings Wellington Country House is just what you need.. Our friendly team will service your room daily between 10 am and 12 am. They will refill your amenities (we avoid single use plastics). A complimentary sachet of locally roasted Arabica coffee is provided, more is available on sale. Fresh milk daily. Pool and bath towels are provided. South Africa is suffering periodic load shedding. All rooms are fitted with a light that will work. Please bring a flashlight, just in case. The WiFi is on a battery system and should operate 100% of the time, unless there is a technical supply issue, which does not happen very often.
