I just don't know what to say. When you're here, you're family. I'm traveled A LOT and this is one of the most relaxing places I have been. You need to come to this beautiful oasis outside Mexico City! When here, ask for Luis or Ally and they will take take of everything. And for breakfast Patty is amazing. Enjoy+

What a fabulous experience! We found Casa Chichipicas having unexpectedly found ourselves in Valle de Bravo for the night, without an overnight bag. Andrea greeted us warmly and got us settled. She lent us her phone charger and pointed us in the direction of where we could buy toothbrushes. The town was within easy reach, with lots of cute artisan shops and cafes. The town square was filled with birdsong at dusk and we enjoyed a cold beer by the lake, before heading back to the hotel for a delicious dinner of high end Mexican cuisine, in their uber cool restaurant, with the sounds of running water and light jazz. This was followed by a relaxing jacuzzi under the stars by their ultra cool poolside lounge area. The rooms are comfortable, clean and toiletries are provided for a top notch hot shower. The local area is close by and some music and dogs barking can be a little intrusive, but it doesn’t affect your enjoyment and they provide ear plugs for sleep, if needed. I highly recommend this hotel as an overnight stop over if coming from Mexico City to visit the Monarch butterfly sanctuary. It will make the experience all the more special. Don’t miss it!

We had an event near by and was very convenient although it can be a bit noisy. Place is kept clean and in good condition. The owners are very friendly people. It needs a pool or a green to play. I would say it is best just to crash in for a sleep.

Nice small hotel with a superb pool. The room was big and nice although smelt a bit damp. The staff is friendly and halpful, lovely breakfast. Please be aware that this hotel is right next to a very busy road and therefore it's very loud and ear plugs are necessary.

Hotel boutique in the heart of Valle de Bravo
We were the only guests in this small hotel. There was only the receptionist around. However, on two occasions while we out someone with a key searched our bags and took money and headphones. There are no safes in this hotel and the staff were so friendly that we thought we must have misplaced it but when we returned to our home in Mexico City we discovered the headphones missing too. Hotels reaction “it’s never happened before!” Lesson learned, lock things away even if staff seem ok.
