Comfortable well-appointed en suite rooms in an inn overlooking a creek or garden rooms located in the rain forest of southern Belize. Paved road all the way. Centrally located to explore ruins, caves, waterfalls and jungle trails. Over 100 species of birds identified on site along our easy trails. Traditional chocolate making demonstration and tour of cocao plantation on the property by prior arrangement. Fully licensed restaurant but self catering option in three of the rooms. Magically different -you may never want to leave!
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay at the Farm Inn so I can only trust the other reviews on how amazing the location is. However, Renee reached out to me to offer any assistance she could and I can only imagine how her hospitality extends to those who do get the opportunity to stay. Hopefully, we will be back one day and I can meet in person.

After traveling Belize for about a week we decided to land in PG for the night. We have had good experience with this place before so we decided to go back. And the room we had for 80$ Bze was way better than what we have had elsewhere in the country. The room was clean, nice two double beds, tv fridge microwave nice clean good working toilet and shower and great internet, and all in the middle of town. With a secure place to park the tental vehicle as well. We asked for a late check out and this was no problem for no additional fee. Friwndly people, great quality. Especially after the stay in Placencia this place was a welcome change.

We had a kitchenette room with all the amenities. Room was clean, had a view from the balcony. Nice courtyard in front to relax. Free coffee at reception in the morning. Across the street is a dock for your use. Probably the best place to stay in Punta Gorda.

Our Air bnb fell through at the last minute and we were so fortunate that Beya had a suite available. What a wonderful place- overlooking the water, but also with a view for sunset. Lisa and her staff were so nice, helpful and accommodating. Delicious Belizian breakfast! We met Gomier next door and he cooked us some amazing dishes. I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever return to this area, we will probably skip Air bnb and go right to Beya. Thank you again for saving our trip. Stacie and Matt.

Our eco-lodge is hidden between the Moho River, the rain forest, and Mayan villages in southern Belize. Stay in beautiful thatch cabanas with private bathrooms and verandas. Enjoy delicious cuisine prepared with organic produce from our garden and the jungle around us. Try kayaking, birding, swimming, and yoga on the grounds. Connect with the people and culture of Belize on daily tours to villages, Mayan ruins, cacao farms, caves, waterfalls, and more. Or simply relax in a hammock all day.
I just returned home from this wonderful lodge on March 14. We spent 7 nights there as part of an all inclusive fishing package. This is truly a memorable experience. It’s an eco lodge in the rain forest on the Moho river. If you’re looking for a beach vacation with all of the usual posh perks, this isn’t for you! If you like a jungle cabana that’s clean and comfortable with ceiling fans and mosquito netting ( didn’t really need the netting to be honest ), waking up to the sounds of jungle birds and howler monkeys , afternoon naps on your hammock , wonderful organically grown meals , and the best staff ever, book a week here! Valerie at the front desk is the captain of the ship and will do anything to make your stay more memorable. Roman, sandy, pops, Armando are all wonderful. Make sure you get a spa treatment from Kimberly and by all means walk over to the butterfly enclosure! Rachel Martinez is only 16 years old and will give you a tour and share her passion for butterflies with you! I will definitely go back to this enchanting and very authentic lodge !

Intimate family run jungle resort on the banks of the Rio Grande. The palm thatched cottages have en-suite bathrooms with shower garden. Beautifully tiled floors, fans and screened, wood louvered windows offer a cool living area. Relax in hammocks on your own veranda. We offer a full service restaurant and bar, a wide range of on-site activities including kayaking and river tubing and day tours organized by the lodge with our local Mayan guides.
The Lodge at Big Falls is a little bit of paradise in the jungle. My cabana was private and comfortable and just steps from the river. The meals were delicious and healthy with fresh ingredients. Our group was fortunate to have time with Steve Choco, a fantastic birding and nature guide who works with the lodge. Steve took us to numerous locations in central and southern Belize. I highly recommend this great place for anyone who wants to get away from the beaches and tourists.

Come and stay with us at our relaxing oasis facing the breezy Caribbean Sea. Our Boutique B&B offers four single bedroom and one double bedroom self-catered flats with en suite bathrooms, living/dining/kitchenettes or full kitchen. All flats face the sea and open onto verandas or patios with hammocks just waiting for you to swing in them! To make things easy and simple we include a yummy breakfast, free WIFI and the use of bicycles in our price. BlueBelize is a wonderful place to relax and get away from the cold of a northern winter or use as a home away from home and a base for the many activities Southern Belize has to offer such as fishing and snorkeling tours as well as visits to local waterfalls and Mayan ruins. Come to BlueBelize and Stay. Relax. Explore.
If you need a place to stay in Punta Gorda, look no further! Stay at Blue Belize. My spouse and I just spent an amazing week in PG at Blue Belize. Our host, Paul went above and beyond in ALL respects. He has training as both a professional hotelier and a French chef and IT SHOWS, in all great ways. The place is spotless; his breakfasts, which are included, are works of delicious culinary art—different every day and made from local, fresh ingredients; he even made us a to-go very early breakfast on the day we left. I made our reservation by contacting Paul via phone/WhatsApp and communication was easy including calling in my credit card to him. He was very responsive any time we had questions and is full of local knowledge. He even did our laundry! There are free bikes which are fun to use and helpful to go shopping at the fresh produce market and grocery store. Word of advice: bring ear plugs since the birds wake up at 5 am, and there are a lot of dogs all over town that like to bark at night.

Top-rated jungle vacation rental, just one mile from PG Town in southern Belize, Hickatee offers Caribbean-style accommodation, fully equipped kitchen, plunge pool, free use of cruiser bikes, over a mile of nature trails on site, complimentary WIFI and access to a butterfly farm adjacent to the property. Family-run, we offer friendly service, a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, excellent value for money, and a great base from which to explore the offshore southern cayes and Toledo’s many inland attractions.
I have done a good deal of traveling in my 65 years, I honestly can't recall having had a better stay than the one myself and 3 friends had at Hickatee Cottages. The setting of these is beautiful, smack in middle of tropical forest with butterflies, squawking parrots, woodpeckers and numerous very vocal Howler Monkeys. The cottages are exceptional, well built and well kept. The food was outstanding and plentiful ( you may need to go on a diet when you get home...) But what really made this experience truly exceptional and memorable is the owner, Allison. She is an incredibly warm & charming host who goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to make your time in Southern Belize a great experience. When we arrived a bit late after a long day on the road a tasty local meal and cold beers were waiting. She arranged all of our breakfasts and dinners. She booked local guides for fishing and snorkeling at the Snake Cayes, and also a river tubing trip with a great Mayan guide the mountains with a stop at a local restaurant afterwards. Anything you might want to do or experience in the area she can set up because of her extensive connections throughout the area and strong ties to the local community. We had five nights at Hickatee but to do the area justice and unwind I'd suggest at least weeks stay. Although we explored a good deal; swimming in various waterfalls and rivers, visiting several Mayan villages, there was still lots more to do such as seeing cacao and butterfly farms, and getting a guide to go birdwatching. Anyway, when moved on to Caye Caulker we all felt a pang of homesickness for Hickatee the laid back life back in the jungle. My suggestion is that if you are doing the cayes and the jungle it might be wise to visit the cayes first and save the best for last. Finally, an anecdote to illustrate how well looked after by our host... Because of a snafu one of my friends was not able to get a refill for a critical medication before leaving for the trip. We scoured Punta Gorda's pharmacies for it but as feared it was not available. When Allison heard this she quickly called around Belize City and managed to locate the medication. When we dropped off our rental car both the meds and a taxi ride to the Caye Caulker water taxi was waiting. Above and beyond... P.S. - I almost titled this review, "Allison Ruined Our Vacation!!!" because she treated us so well and gave us such a wonderfully pleasant experience that the rest of our time in Belize, although good and without any unpleasantness, was by comparison a let down.

Situated in a peaceful, secluded setting on 20 acres of lush tropical gardens and jungle, Chaab'il B'e Lodge and Casitas is the best choice for nature loving travelers to Southern Belize. Use the lodge as your base for exploring the cultural, archaeological, and eco-adventure activities of Toledo District. Afterwards, enjoy great food, hospitality and pleasingly rustic yet oh so comfortable accommodations. Take the trail less traveled...
It was a great experience staying at the Chablis be Lodge. The accommodations were good with hot showers and we had AC in our rooms. The breakfasts and dinners were to die for prepared by the owner herself. The hospitality and views were fantastic. Will definitely be back to Chablis Be Lodge!
