The Caravan is a small B&B in a renovated neoclassical building of 1929. With a total of 13 rooms, it is located in one of the most historical neighborhoods of Thessaloniki's center. An ideal choice for anyone who visits the city for personal or business purposes, looking for a friendly, quiet and cozy environment.
I wish someone had written an honest opinion on The Caravan before we spent two nights there. Thessaloniki is not an easy place to get to and when we arrived, we were very tired after a long train ride. The hotel is a glorified coffee shop with lots of young people studying in the lobby. This is fine if you are a young person looking for a cheap place to stay (although this was not particularly cheap). The lobby was crowded and unorganized and I honestly didn't know if I was in a hotel or a coffee shop. When we got checked in, we went up to our room on the 4th floor and it was about 95 deg in the room. The AC is not on unless the key is in the slot by the door. The room had a "veranda" which was a rooftop sauna with no shade and all the curtains were left open so it was miserable. I tried to call them to get another key so we could leave the AC running and go somewhere else so we didn't pass out from heat stroke but the phone didn't work. I honestly didn't know if it was a prop or a real phone since it was an old one with a dial. Found out later it was real - just didn't work - in fact didn't work the entire time we were there (yes - I did let them know immediately upon arrival). The room was very weird and very hostel like. Metal attached furniture, No shades on bulbs (felt like an interrogation room), only 2 pillows on the bed. They did have a "pillow menu" but we couldn't order any as our phone didn't work. Veranda furniture was disgusting. Obviously cushions were left out in the every rain, metal part was rusting, etc. There was zero shade (and it was hot!). There was an umbrella stand taking up part of the veranda but no umbrella to be found. Breakfast was good but they asked what you wanted and didn't quite adhere to that. They also asked if you wanted it delivered to your room and didn't quite do that either - we had to go down 4 floors, find our breakfast in the breakfast room and they then brought it up - which we had to eat quickly on our rapidly heating veranda. The room was so small there was no possibility of eating in there. I will say the staff tried very hard. My thinking is that no owners are onsite and the staff is contracted help and they have very little control over how the hotel is maintained (phones working, veranda furniture, general decor). They do their best and they were helpful in getting taxis. I honestly felt like I was in a dorm room and that was not the experience we were looking for at all.

The newest and sweetest hotel in Thessaloniki! Opened July 2013, we created 12 rooms to provide what this city is missing: Luxury at a Budget!COLORS Central is located in Ladadika, in the restaurant district of Thessaloniki, few steps away to Thessaloniki's famous sea front.Colorful design, excellent location, new rooms, value-for-money accommodation. Welcome to COLORS CENTRAL!
Breakfast was not "in room" as advertised but a chit for the sister hotels restaurant 3 blocks away. Advertised room serviced...but none. Elevator does not work. One staff...receptionist....but only from 11am to 7pm. Even the key packet says the hours are longer than that...apparently cost cutting due to Covid19...after all this is only a 12 room hotel. Great location...no hot water was a bummer but they said that was due to a gas main break...but no one was warning guests.

Situated on the lengthy, sandy beach of Potamos in Epanomi, "Akti Retzika" benefits from one of the best locations between Thessaloniki and Halkidiki. Close to the airport but at the same time far from city noises. Just steps away from the beach, guests have the opportunity to spend their holidays in comfortable rooms and apartments, while nature lovers can enjoy camping in green surroundings. Visitors are also welcome in "Akti Retzika" tavern and bar, to experience our commitment to great food and caring, personal service offered in a natural environment with views of the Aegean Sea and Mount Olympus
I planed a we but unfortunately had severe symptoms of illness. The reception and the kitchen staff kindly supported me and. All ed an ambulance. A part from the great civic sense and the care the staff gave to me, the site is amazing, services at the beach and inside the camping are too levelled. Hope to see you again. Rosalinda

The location of the hotel is very central. The room was spacious, with a large balcony, a large and luxurious shower, and no less important, an inner, quiet room. The service is outstanding! Everything we requested was received in less than a minute. For example, we asked for chairs and a table for the balcony, and they immediately came to put them in. We asked for an electric kettle (there is an espresso machine in the room, but we wanted to prepare black coffee), and we immediately got one. Above all, the staff at the counter is kind and helpful !!! They did everything to make us comfortable and cozy. We had a rented car, and throughout the days we were at the hotel, they made sure to keep a parking space for us. Breakfast arrives in the room by prior arrangement - that is, the night before you order from the menu, it comes at your request. Although the breakfast is basic (eggs, vegetables, bread, orange juice, coffee, jam, honey, fruit, and cake), it is enough. What's more, it is very convenient to eat in the room. Beyond that, the cleanliness is also exceptional. Every day the room is thoroughly cleaned. One small detail that we think needs improvement is the lobby - the lobby is small and uninviting. It will be perfect if they put armchairs in it and a little more design. By the way, the rest of the hotel is modern and inviting. In conclusion, we will return for sure. From now on, this is our hotel in Thessaloniki.

Comfortable stay near old Byzantium wall. Premium quality mattress and new modern furniture. Separate and convenient bathroom. Quite location, not far from the Railway station, waterfront and old city Ano Polis. Excellent location to see all the sights of the old Thessaloniki.
Good location. Very very clean. Natalia was very friendly. Peaceful and secure building. The garden is good even when it rains. Close to restaurants by walk. The parking is on the street but easy to find a free space nearby. Do not miss if you can find vacant rooms.

Built in the sought-after area of Agia Triada Beach, Hotel Almyra has been providing since 1995 an inexpensive yet high quality choice for your overnight stay in the greater Thessaloniki area. Our hotel is ideal whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, with its close distance to the airport (12km) as well as to the centre of Thessaloniki (22km), in addition to its close proximity to Halkidiki. Our hotel is open all year round and was recently renovated. There are many seafood restaurants in the Agia Triada area, as well as evening hotspots and bars which are open throughout the year. In addition you will find many bank branches, pharmacies, doctor's surgeries and gyms. Our hotel is an ideal choice for those arriving in Macedonia late at night, intending to continue their journey east or west but wishing to avoid the hustle and bustle of Thessaloniki. It is also perfect for those who are at the end of their holidays and would like a relaxing night at an inexpensive hotel near the airport before their morning flight. To arrive to my hotel from the airport, you can get a taxi or a bus. a taxi costs approximately 17 -20 euro. If you take the bus from the airport will take this to the Number (79)Airport- IKEA. Then the goal will change bus with the same ticket and you will get this with the number (72 )IKEA-ΝΕΑ ΜΗΧΑΝΙΩΝΑ .the descended on central station of Agia Triada and from there we walked along the beach to the left as you see the sea to come to hotel ALMIRA(300 m)
I stayed a couple of nights in this family run hotel. Close to airport, close to beach. Airport is not that close to be disturbing. They provide for breakfast, rooms are comfortable. The environment is typical Greek. I would come back any time.

This place has everything you need for peaceful and relaxing vacation. Everything is new, rooms are nicely furnished, garden and the whole exterior are clean and decorated. It really seems that someone made an effort to make this place comfortable and pleasant to stay. Rooms are regularly cleaned and the stuff takes care about towels and everything you need. I must say that they are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is great, so you won't make mistake if you get it. Since it is located in a quiet area, it takes about 5min drive to get to Asprovalta (it is recommended to get there by car). I really recommend this place for relaxing vacation. Everything is exactly the same as shown in the pictures and the service is great.

Fani Luxury Apartments & Fani Luxury Boutique with the view of Strymonikos allows the guests to enjoy the 17 km of sandy beach that is just a stone's throw from the property. The Fani Luxury room complex welcomed the first tourists in early July 2014. Elegant design, high quality materials and modern rooms will make guests' stay a real pleasure. Another advantage is the distance from the beach, less than 20 meters and fully equipped to welcome tourists from all over the area. Stavros abstain 65 km from the city of Thessaloniki and 1,30 hours from Mount Athos is located at the beginning of the Halkidiki peninsula, in its northeastern part. It is a seaside destination, with unique natural beauty as it combines the green of the mountain and the blue of the sea. Stavros is surrounded by various villages where you can discover a variety of treasures throughout the year. In its crystal clear waters you can enjoy fishing, diving, swimming, all water sports, rackets, beach volley etc. In the mountain villages the guest can meet the warmth and tradition of the place.
Excellent hotel made all the better by really friendly hotel staff. Great location, literally yards from the beach. There are not a great deal of restaurants nearby but we only stayed one night after the flight from UK into Greece. Highly recommend this hotel as the first leg of your Greek tour. Took us about 35 mins from Thessaloniki airport. Lovely breakfast too.

Well to start this off, you will always remember this place for the rest of your life. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel, a hotel that offers incredible services like beach service for food and beverages, free wifi and amazing food, this hotel is for you. The staff is kind and will do everything to help you. If you’re thinking of staying in a resort or some big hotel, think twice because you won’t get this kind of customer service anywhere else. Furthermore the beds are incredibly comfortable and will give you the night rest that you deserve after a long day at the beach. The hotel offers umbrellas with beach chairs for a very small price, to add to that, there is always a beach boy to bring to you your food and beverages. The ambiance that this hotel gives will always bring a good mood to the ensemble. It has an outside playground for children and is perfect for families with young children. To finish this off, on my next visit to Greece I am definitely coming back there!
