Very old building painted colourfully to show as new. Main doors and bathroom doors are not easy to open. The whole room is fungus. Keep only one coffee packet and say to shared by two. Misery. கஞ்சம் பிசினாரி owners. Complementary breakfast was a nightmare. That too was given in parts till 10 AM that too when only asked. Very worst experience s. The front desk employees agree that the owner is not interest in solving the problems of costomers. All the positive reviews here must be from the same hotel people. May not be from customers. Don't believe those reviews. Never Ever go to this hotel. Cheaters.

Bad experience
Reviewed By EeuBuenosAiresI don’ t recommend this hotel . I stayed for 4 nights because I had some small health issues and had not the energy for booking another & moving. It was full of mosquitoes and bathroom smelled really bad (sewage) . Bathroom had an open window impossible to close & with no mosquito net and room windows did not shut properly and had no mosquito net . I asked for another room with mosquito nets but 2 mosquitoes welcomed me as I opened the door & the room was worst than the 1st one (no a/c and extremly hot ).

The breakfast was delicious and the overall stay was comfortable and refreshing. Anyone visiting must try out the Chellammal’s manpanai samayal adjacent to this hotel where you can have authentic traditionally cooked food. Had an overall at home feel.

Reviewed By MadrasTravelerVery good place to stay in Thanjavur. This place outside the town but not ver far from town. Stayed in 2 BHK Apartment. Rooms were sparkling clean including linens. Staffs were very helpful and a welcoming. Food was good as well.

Rooms are very neat with A/C and Non A/C. A/c rooms are equipped with Mini Fridge. Room services are very good. Hotel with restaurant and Bar facilities. Price is liitle bit costly compare to other hotels. Overall very good hotel to stat during vacation and Holidays.

Reviewed By 263ptsWe, couple stayed in PLA Residency Annex for a night . Hotel room size is too small. Basic facilities. Car parking facility available. At least 6 cars can be parked. Front desk staff was courteous. No dine-in restaurant. Need to go to the neighboring hotel. Bath rooms are clean. Bed linens need to replaced. The mattress is highly unsuitable for people with back pain.

Reviewed By Prasobh KWe stayed in Hotel KRA during our visit to Thanjavur in Jan. The Hotel is centrally located near the Bus stand and is easy to find. The major attraction in Thanjavur - the Brihadeeshwara Temple is hardly 1 km from the Hotel. The Hotel in itself is neat and clean. The rooms are large with all basic facilities and a decent bathroom. However, there is no restaurant here and they bring food from another restaurant if you order. That is not very tasty and certainly not worth the money. There are other better restaurants nearby and we went out for lunch and dinner on all days. Overall the Hotel KRA is fine for budget stay in Thanjavur but if you prefer in-room dining look at other options !!
