My husband and I stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time both in Cornwall and whilst staying at Boskenna Shepherds Hut. Both Godfrey and Julia (and Max the dog) were so welcoming when we arrived and during our stay. The Shepherds Hut was just perfect. It had everything in it you could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing to use. It was so relaxing just hearing the birds sing and the quietness of the countryside.

We stayed in The Owl’s House and had a brilliant week self catering! Thank you to Gordon and Edwina for greeting us on arrival and for allowing us in early when we arrived ahead of schedule and in the pouring rain with small children who were desperate to get out of the car from a long journey. The cottage was easy enough to find. It is a lovely converted farm building, perfectly located to explore the best of the West, and gave our family the ideal base from which to venture out from. The cottage is very clean, spacious and well appointed. Beautiful sea views across the fields and a neat area for the children to play outside. We have a 5 year old and 1 year old and they’ve loved every minute both in the Owl’s House and discovering the nearby beaches and harbour towns. A high chair and cot were provided and the washing/tumble dryer were helpful. Our Labrador was also able to join us in this dog and child friendly property and there are excellent walks from your doorstep. When we needed the owners assistance during our stay they acted swiftly and helpfully. I would recommend staying here, and if a larger group are travelling together (post Covid!) the opportunity to rent more than one cottage at a time would be nice to do.

We cannot recommend Cathy and Pat's hospitality highly enough - this was our second stay and everything from the backwater location and more than ample parking (sometimes not the case in these parts) to the lovely room and fab breakfast was perfect. There is a guest lounge or if you are in sociable mood sit and enjoy an evening drink and matter with your hosts! Although St Buryan may initially seem remote it is within a few minutes of Penzance, local beaches, Lands End and not far from popular tourist spots like St Ives. The village pub - The St Buryan Inn is friendly and welcoming and the food ? s really good, make sure you book for an evening meal though it is small but popular! All in all: A relaxing and enjoyable visit - we will be back again that's for certain!

This b&b is definitely in a very quiet & peaceful area, We had a lovely welcome when we arrived , our room was outstanding & looked out across the fields & sea. A short walk down the track took you to a little cove. Ideal base if you are planning to visit Lands End & adjacent area. Breakfast was continental, always plenty to eat, nothing too much trouble. Would not hesitate to return here, beautiful.

Myself and my wife Emma have just returned from amazing 3 night stay and it was amazing !! Derek, Vicki and Poppy made us feel extremely welcome and could not do enough for us. When we mentioned that we had been shielding and that we have to be careful due to our personal circumstances they made us feel at ease by saying that they would do extra touch point cleaning, clean our room first etc etc etc I would highly recommended a stay here as I know you will not be disappointed in any way !!
