There is no better way to sample the delights of Blackpool than take a break at the charming Windsor Carlton. This privately owned hotel is set just off the promenade with views across the North Shore and just a 10-minute walk from the town. By day and by night whatever the time of year, the number of attractions Blackpool has to offer is simply overwhelming - your problem will be deciding what to do first.
We stayed at The Windsor Carlton Hotel for two nights in Blackpool. There were three of us, myself, my husband and our friend and the accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and the owners Anthony and Gayle, who went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. There were so many thoughtful touches in the rooms such as shower caps, tissues, cotton wool buds and balls and very good quality hand and shower gels; also a welcoming chocolate mint each. The room was scrupulously clean, with small items individually wrapped and there was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee in the room and more available if required. The breakfast was really delicious, freshly cooked and plentiful and we enjoyed it very much. On street parking is available on the quiet, wide road outside the hotel. When we next visit Blackpool, we will certainly be booking there again. Many thanks for making our stay so pleasurable.

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is in Bispham, a 10 minute tram ride to North Pier. Easy check in with friendly host, room was clean with coffee, tea etc topped up daily.Bed was comfy. Lovely sea view. Only quibble was the bathroom was so small, when on the toilet my knees were up against the sink ! (But I am over 6ft tall). Overall not bad for the price paid. Thanks

Well equipped and clean rooms with nice design work. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well decorated hotel -shame about the scabby Metropole hotel across the road, the area is been developed so hopefully that hotel will also benefit from a upgrade.

Our friendly family-run Blackpool Hotel is ideally situated just minutes from the promenade, opposite the South Pier and famous local attractions - Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle are only a short walk away. All rooms en-suite, lift to all floors. Wheelchair friendly, licensed bar. Dinner / packed lunches available on request. Entertainment on most nights. British Sign Language hotel Level 2. Groups / coach parties and families welcome. Discounted rate for OAPs.
Booked a two night stay with partner but after reading reviews was very dubious about staying there and yes the front needs a good lick paint and the windows need cleaning but it's not a five star and doesn't pretend to be. What you get is a friendly welcome. Our room was on the top floor and the lift was a bonus and despite some reviews saying no curtains etc etc was very clean and we def had curtains. Beds spotless. Headboards on bed need fixing properly but that my only gripe regarding beds. Shower spotless and plenty hot water. Only problem we had was kettle leaked but young lad on reception changed it straight away and couldn't apologise enough to my partner. It's Blackpool and you get what you pay for. Yes there no bar or entertainment but plenty places to go for both couples, families or groups if you look for them. Would def come back here and for a "fussy geordie" that's saying something.

Cheap and cheerful b&b - I really don’t understand the bad reviews. We paid £35 for a double room with breakfast and got exactly that. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and breakfast was good. What more could you need? No - it’s not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in but we got brilliant value for money and the location is ideal for central Blackpool.

Was met with a stench as soon we entered the room this meant the window had to be open all day the heating then didn’t work at night- we was out most of the time but on the last day we thought we’d help the guy out he was sound enough just his accommodation was poor so we stripped the beds for him and was met with some disgusting stains on the bed and pillows Won’t be staying there again See photos below

We stayed at the Manor Grove Last night as we going to an Act at the Opera House. I have mobility issues and we wanted somewhere close by and this was perfect. Accommodation very clean, lovely Fresh Laundered Towels. A lovely welcome when we arrived and answered all questions we had. Great Cooked Breakfast in the morning with a lovely selection of jams, marmalade & Honey to go with Toast as well if you wish to. We would definitely stay here again and I am very happy to recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool close to everything.
