Beautiful property located in the Historical and Commercial District of Old San Juan this colonial building was erected in the late 1700 hundreds. With only 08 colonial style guest rooms with high ceilings and full bathroom. Two of the rooms have balconies facing San Francisco St. Guests can enjoy the rooftop lounge area & terrace Jacuzzi area with breathtaking view of San Cristobal castle, North Atlantic Ocean, and The Capitol. Complementary delicious full breakfast served and complementary high speed internet access WIFI provided. The property was once used as a place of residence by previous Spanish settlers, military command of the Spanish Armada who guarded the nearby Forts. There is still ambience of years past on the property with traditional European Spanish tiles, stowaway bunkers, cisterns, original wood fired stove, original wood trimmings and doors. The entire building was recently renovated, including new services: Underground electricity, water supply, gas, VRF Samsung air conditioning system, Full Power generator and a 12,000 gallons water cistern, state of the art access control system, among many other improvements. Welcome to Puerto Rico
The hotel is a small boutique hotel, breakfast comes with your room & lunch is available on site. The hotel is immaculately clean. Each room has a private bath attached. Their security is wonderful you check in and out of your room and front door with a key card that says your name. The owners are available on site at all times to answer questions and fullfill your requests. You are right in Old San Juan and call walk every where in the old city. It is easy to visit the forts, old churches & squares, shopping & multiple resturaunts. We Highly recommend it. AC through out. One draw back is steep stairs to second floor but they carry your lugage up for you. So hold raillings and you are all set.

In 2022 The Dreamcatcher was awarded with the 'Travelers Choice Award", Tripadvisor's highest recognition. San Juan’s only vegetarian hotel is located in the pristine neighborhood of Ocean Park, only 200 steps from the beach. From here it is a 10 minute walk to the highly touristic area of Condado and a short 10 minute ride to the Old City or the airport. Guests may sign up for yoga and meditation classes, take part in sightseeing tours, do paddle boarding, or opt for nature-adventure tours outside of the typical touristy options. They may also rent a bicycle and go for a ride around the neighborhood beaches or the popular Loíza Street. Our famous breakfast & brunch is served daily and sourced mostly local. We are committed to use organic produce with low carbon footprint and offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. You may also choose between juice blends, homemade hemp milk and kombucha elixirs made with all natural ingredients. The Dreamcatcher is proud to be supporting this type of experience in which guests enjoy healthy foods as they spend some time away from home. "Everything about this inn suggests relaxation,” according to the March 2014 issue of New York Magazine. It smells of incense, as one can listen to the meditation music in the background and hear the flow of water from the fountain. At almost every corner of this captivating place, from guest rooms to common areas, there are dreamcatchers. These artifacts can be traced back to the native people of North America who used to make them by hand, as symbols of protection from nightmares and enablers of only beautiful dreams. And these happen to be the same positive vibes The Dreamcatcher team wants to send its guests as they walk in the main door.
I loved literally every moment of this trip. The bed and breakfast was amazing and beautiful. It was tranquil and serene and my heart was so happy. The outside of the individual rooms is open and the guests are so wonderful and want to meet and hang out. I have literally never felt such a wonderful presence of customers wanting to interact with eachother. Just wonderful. Also the packages are amazing. We did the Rainforest one where both Geos were fantastic and then the snorkeling from Ree was super cool. The only issue we had as a couple celebrating our anniversary was the ‘Glass Cottage’ room. Please don’t rent that room for anything above $50, and warn unsuspecting travelers of how tiny this room is. Dreamcatchers was so great as they allowed us to upgrade our room for 3 out of 5 nights which was fun because we did a “sampler” type deal where we switched rooms 3x that week, which we were so grateful for. What I will say though is every sucker who rented the room chatted with us in the common space about how awfully dissatisfied they were. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

Located on the principal artery bordering this coastal capital sector, the inn is conveniently located between the tourist zones of El Condado and Isla Verde (with its international airport) where eateries abound and public transportation is close by. It is also privileged with proximity to a superb beach, only a three minute walk thru San Juan's premier residential community
The night prior to our stay we had realized didn't book enough nights in our air BNB, and since it was booked after us, we decided to look for a hotel. That's where we landed on the Dream Inn and I'm glad we did! Everyone there was very accommodating and it felt like they really cared about your stay and you as a patron. They area is really walkable and it backs onto an upscale neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The rooftop deck made a great place to hammock with a nightcap :) highly recommend if you're in need, you won't regret it.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Old San Juan! Located just steps away from shops, restaurants and historical monuments in the city. Our hotel is filled with charm and history. Our beautiful rooms showcase antique Spanish and French furniture as well as true Spanish architecture. At our hotel, you will receive personalized service during your stay. Our primary goal is for you to enjoy what our city hast to offer and provide you with the best accommodations and information that there is to offer in Old San Juan! We hope you choose us as your place to stay in Old San Juan!
Loved the atmosphere of this hotel and it was quiet! Exactly what we were looking for and location was great could walk to everything. We had one of the two rooms upstairs H8 king bed and small patio that extended out onto the larger shared patio. No one else used the patio while we were there. There were lots of sitting options and a hot tub that was clean. You could sit at a small table and look down on the street below and see part of the Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista. Only one other room is upstairs and there were occupants but they were quiet. Our room had a king size bed, microwave, fridge, large armoire, nice size bathroom for this type of old hotel and very clean everything worked. If you arrive after 1pm there is a number on the door for sister hotel and they give you a code to get into the front. There is a large dining area to the right when you walk in that has coffee area, ice machine and water spout. To the left is the office where you can store your luggage if your room is not ready. Then you walk straight and see the lower courtyard with the downstairs rooms and a fountain. It was very "old San Juan" and cool. Up the stairs is the only other two rooms. One wish only (for my husband; I don't drink coffee) is to either have a coffee maker in the room or downstairs in the dining room that you could use at your leisure. If you get up early and are a coffee drinker this might be a problem as they did not make coffee until 8am one time. I guess you could bring instant coffee and use the microwave in your room if you are desperate. I guess you could also walk to Hotel El Convento just up the street with a restaurant that opens at 7:30am.

Due to late flight, arrived after midnight. The staff was so accommodating and helpful! LOVED the unit. It slept 5, since there was a pull out futon and extra bedding. The location in Old San Juan was perfect for walking around. Loud at night—- seems a local wants to drive by blasting music throughout the night— maybe isolated situation however. I’d return again and again. Was a great place to stay! If you want traditional brand hotel experience, this isn’t for you. If you want local cultural experience, go for it!

The beautiful Ocean Park beach is just 2 mins away and you will find yourself embraced by fine white sand, aqua-colored ocean and perfect blue sky. Then come relax and enjoy with your friends in our tropical patio after a whole day in the sun. Each of our room is beautifully furnished with comfortable beds to make you feel like at home.
I want to start by saying that the hospitality in Andalucia was amazing!!! Thank you, señor Roberto for all the accommodations you did for us!!! AC, shower, and microwave worked perfectly. Bed was comfortable. Beach is 2-3 blocks from there. They will have everything you need to have an amazing beach day (towels, beach fridge, chairs) Restaurants are closed by. Ubers to Old San Juan were really affordable ($8-$12). Thank you for making my first visit to Puerto Rico ??an amazing experience? NV & RL

**Due to Hurricane Maria, Hostería del Mar will be temporarily closed until 11/30/2017. However, our restaurant UVVA is currently open to the public!** Hosteria del Mar is located on the beach in one of San Juan's top touristic spots. Our ocean front rooms have an unforgettable view to the sea. All rooms have air conditioners, cable TV, Mini Bars and private baths. Try our breakfast, lunch and dinner at UVVA Restaurant where you may enjoy a unique gastronomic experience of local and International cuisine.
We stayed at the hotel for our last night in Puerto Rico. It seemed to offer a good compromise being located close to old San Juan and Candado and offering a real beach. The hotel is located in a gated community that really felt safe and private. We were really disappointed with our room: small (although they call it a honeymoon suite), old and rusty. There is no WIFI in the rooms (in 2022)! Service was average alternating between really unfriendly and friendly staff members. The most disappointing to us was the beach. We expected to be able to sit out on a longchair and enjoy some relaxing time but the beach is completely empty. You cannot have neither a drink, food or an umbrella&chair. The price was surely a little high even though the hotel explains this is high season. Finally, we asked to keep the room a little longer and the hotel refused to accomodate us so we had to leave early and go somewhere else.

Among the facilities at this property are a roof top, shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. All guest rooms at the guest house come with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge.
Enjoyed my stay, the room and area was great. Everything was clean and the room was very cool. I would definitely seek this place out. The spots for food was 100. Only bad thing was the cell service but i think that’s all around the island.

Very nice accommodations. Kind and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very clean, neat and modern rooms. Super fast internet. Well located, near Isla Verde beach, just crossing highway. It also has several parking lots, which is kind of a luxury in San Juan and a relief when you are carrying luggage. This hotel would be just perfect if only had soundproof windows, because is quite close to the Expreso Baldorioty highway and boricuas just love revving engines and super loud music.

Casa del Caribe is an affordable Caribbean inn found on a shady side street just off Ashford Avenue, the main strip of the Condado area. Just beyond the garden wall & pond you'll discover the wraparound veranda and front porch where guests socialize in this cozy tropical inn. Every morning, fresh brewed complimentary coffee and a continental breakfast is available. The biggest casino in the area is in just 1/2 block away as are all the bistros, sidewalk cafes, and boutique shops and the famous Condado Beach at your doorstep! On a lively street, this modest B&B is 4 minute walk from the beach, 4.3 km from Isla Grande Airport and 6 km from the San Juan National Historic Site. There are 8 rustic rooms with wooden floors and warm decor. All come with free Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus ceiling fans. Some also have kitchenettes. Amenities include continental breakfast and a walled garden with trees, fountains and sunloungers.
I don’t do this, but here we are. This was an unexpected trip for me, so I was trying to pull it off on a budget. I booked the resort on a secret price basis and from the pictures of the hotel, it didn’t look too bad. I arrived early and found a restaurant around the corner while I waited for the front desk to open at 3pm. Not a problem, I’ve stayed places where the desk isn’t 24/7 before. I checked in and the room was ready right away. Now I’m aware that I booked a secret price hotel and I’d get the most basic room there, but this room was in what I can only assume is a converted car port. In the back corner of the “courtyard” Room 10. Boy was it’s location the least of my worries. When I entered the room I was met by the smell of cleaning supplies. “good” I though, “It’s just been cleaned” well it took about 30 minutes for the wet tiled floor to dry and once the smell of cleaning supplies had passed, the real smell of the room came through. I actually think it was the air conditioning unit. Every time it kicked on I smelled a musty/moldy smell. The door didn’t meet the floor or have any kind of seal, it was just kind of open the whole way round. The window was not glass, it was metal storm shutters and a mosquito screen. The lock on the door was faulty and I could never tell if it was actually locked, and the safety chain was missing. Above all else I felt unsafe in a room with outside entry, in a hotel that doesn’t man the desk overnight. After a couple hours booked some place else, checked out and left. There is no way I was staying in the place, and that’s the last time I book a budget option with a “hot rate” or “secret hotel” option ever again. Listen to the reviews, anything below 4.0 on trip advisor is a no go from now on!
