Stayed here last week for three nights. Check in was fast and easy. The staff was always super friendly, helpful and for those of you who don't speak Spanish, their English was better than mine. The room had two double beds, was spacious and clean. The AC worked well. The bathroom was large, modern, with plenty of counter space. There was a wet bar with a sink, coffee maker and fridge. Over all the room was very comfortable. There are a few things you should be aware of. There is no elevator, but the staff is very accommodating if you need help with your luggage There is no hot water to the sink, but there is to the shower. I asked about this and the staff confirmed it. The internet worked well, with one exception. If you have an iPhone, each time you leave, it disconnects you and you must get a new username and password from the office. The staff will gladly give you several at once, so this is not a major issue. There is coffee in the lobby and a coffee maker in the room, but the room coffee maker in the room is the type where you put a filter in and brew the coffee. The coffee in the room is instant, and the warming feature on the coffee maker does not heat the water up warm enough. I always carry an immersion heater, and this worked fine. The location is excellent. It's about a three minute walk to the beach, and there are countless shops and restaurants nearby. Overall a nice place to stay with a wonderful and helpful staff.

The owner, Gloria, and Alex are very attentive and can help you with whatever you want. Some rooms have air conditioner and beds are reasonable, all clean and very simple. The bathroom don't have a shower, just a tube with cold water (which is not a big problem because San Andres is so hot). They rent a good car to go around to the island with a good price. They don't have breakfast but you can cook in the common kitchen. And despite of sweet Gloria, the location of the hostel is not so good. It's located very near of the airport but far from the downtown. Some people say they can go there in 15 min by walking, but for me, it's not a good way and at night is a little bit dangerous because you need to pass by something like a forest. I always returned by taxi and a tip for this is telling to the driver that you wanna go near of the new control tower of the airport.

Lousy place don't waste your money with this place. In the room they assigned us, the bathroom door did not work, there was no cable TV, the air conditioning does not work, he reported at noon when we arrived they did not give any solution, they did not change our room either and I had to go out with my father and my sister to find a hotel at 11:30 pm because they did not give any solution. The city was really alone because we were on National Strike days for which there was a curfew from 8 pm, which they knew because they informed me on arrival. Something inconceivable for guests who don't even know the city. What they present on the page is a lie, photos highly arranged at your convenience, everything is false, beware of these places that take advantage of tourists.

The room we stayed in was so small to put our bags etc. And plus the WiFi connection wasn't that good nor fast. Most of the time we couldn't get enough hot water. But the location was not that bad, it is very close to the beach like within five minutes walk distance. I think it was way expensive considering hotel conditions. They have an old-fashioned TV so that you can't enjoy Netflix here. The food at the restaurant wasn't that good either.

Loved the experience. Mr. Jose Cardona, the owner is extremely kind and everything went absolutelly well. The property is not located in the center, but close enough. The distance is a good option to rest comfortably away form all the noise at night. The room had a kitchen and fridge and there are markets close so we were able to cook our own food when need or when we were to tired to get out again. the official way to visti places in the island is by moto and Jose Cardona has motos and those golf cars to rent as well. The place has everything that is needed to have an amazing experience.

Victoria's Gennie Bay is located in San Andres. Rooms include a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Guests can also use the car rental service. The surrounding area is ideal for fishing. Victoria's Gennie Bay Village Hostal is 5 km from San Andres Bay and 6 km from the North End area. Gustavo Rojas Pinilla International Airport is 6 km away
