A very cozy familiar B&B, surrounded by peaceful mountains and beautiful gardens. In Melissa Wasi guests will find the attention and rest they need. Located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, Pisac is the ideal location to begin all the tours. Melissa Wasi has 7 double or matrimonial, full equiped bedoroms and 3 cozy bungalows for a whole family or group of friends with their own chimeney, kitchenet and living room. We also offer a delicious and abundant breakfast (with our pancakes speciality) and the free use of our scooters. Melissa Wasi is the ideal place to feel at home while you are travelling.
A very cozy and peaceful place in the middle of an eucalyptus forest surrounded by nature and unsurpassed landscapes. The service is very efficient and full of human warmth. The owners, the workers, the rooms, all ideal. Highly recommended!

Pisac Inn is a small, charming hotel ideally located on the historic plaza of Pisac in the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, just 45 minutes outside of Cusco. Breathtaking mountains surround Pisac with the beautiful Wilkamayu River running through the fertile valleys heart. The pleasant climate, lower altitude and small town appeal combine with proximity and easy access to Cusco, Machu Picchu and other places in the Sacred Valley making it an ideal base. Full of enchanting details that honor Quechua tradition, Pisac Inn offers a relaxed atmosphere and warm hospitality that celebrates the continuity and vitality of this ancient living culture. Contemporary and rustic tones are harmoniously woven together to emanate a sensation of stepping back in time that makes Pisac Inn so special. The Inn proudly offers culinary delights at their gourmet restaurant Cuchara de Palo, using fresh organic and locally sourced ingredients.
Really great value in a perfect location. Lovely little place with helpful front desk and an amazing restaurant. One of our fave meals in Peru. Highly recommend if you are staying in Pisac for the night. The town and ruins are worth visiting for a day.

Apu Lodge is a boutique bed-and-breakfast located in the pedestrian Inca streets of the village of Ollantaytambo and its position on a terrace gives it a fantastic view from all rooms. It has spacious gardens, visited by humming birds, hammocks to relax in after your hike to Machu Picchu or other ruins, and is very peaceful. All rooms have views, private bathrooms with excellent shower and are furnished with simple elegance. Dinner is served in our restaurant. English spoken and excellent advice given on local sites, tours and taxis can be arranged. Please call from the plaza for assistance with luggage as there is no vehicle access.
Booked into the Apu Lodge by our travel company, we had a mixed experience. Plus: the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The garden with hammocks and hummingbirds surrounded by the sound of wind and rushing water is striking. The lodge has a charming rustic feel. Breakfast was solid. It's a short walk to the central plaza and ruins. Negative: the sound isolation in each room is poor; get a second floor room so you do not hear the people above you. We had ants. The electrical outlet situation is poor. The WiFi is weak. The hot water ran out leaving only a cold shower. Ollantaytambo is a beautiful area and I would return to this village, but not to the Apu Lodge.

If you choose to walk to the ruins, it will take approximately one hour and 40 minutes. If you walk for 5 minutes uphill, you will reach the gateway of the hot springs, the Mandor Gardens is a 40 minute walk. The people who work at Terrazas del Inca are very warm, friendly and happy to serve. For all these reasons, come visit Aguas Calientes and enjoy a wonderful experience in Peru.
Comfortable and nice clean room with hot water. Great view right on the river - with all the negatives and positives. Very testy breakfast with super helpful staff (if you speak spanish :) ). We were given a map with all the helpful tips. Got issues with wifi though, but we stayed just one night so it didn't bother us

Add This To Your Bucket List! We added a night here to the end of our Peru trip for a different kind of adventure after our Sacred Valley & Inka Trail to Machu Picchu trek. It is a splurge but I think worth it as it is more than a hotel, it is an experience. Our nightly fee included breakfast & dinner (excellent) in their spectacular cliff top glass restaurant & bar and also optional (not for the faint of heart or unfit) zipline & climbing activities. (Although I would advise you to clarify what is included, what is not as it is not clearly stated anywhere that I could find. Also there is no indication of prices of mini-bar snacks in room or a printed menu with prices at restaurant and so we were surprised at check out with some shockingly high prices for lunch and Oreos & Pringles from the mini bar. It is our only complaint, but too bad to leave with a bit of a bad taste and feeling taken advantage of. Prices, especially when very high, should be listed so there are not unpleasant surprises at check out.) Having read about the other glass capsule hotel, Sky Lodge, I would say that this requires much less physical fitness & ambition to reach and offers more luxury and creature comforts. It is also in a very beautiful mountainside area away from the main road so no concerns with light pollution or noise from the highway below. Service was very friendly and excellent. Jose who runs it was super helpful. Our guide, who showed us around and led our activities was great. The restaurant staff was also very friendly and attentive. A taxi will take you up a winding mountain dirt road (30 minutes from train station) to the reception area where you will be warmly greeted with tea as you check in. You will leave any heavy bags here and pack your daypack with what you need for the night then your guide will take you on a 25 minute walk up a trail to the top of the mountain- you will be met half way up with a fresh passion fruit juice to enjoy while you rest & catch your breath- and then you will arrive at the mountaintop restaurant & bar. We had a very nice lunch here and marveled at the view before we were shown to our room. Even the bathrooms for the restaurant have a wall of glass for a breathtaking view. From here it’s a short but somewhat strenuous 5+ minute walk up a trail to your capsule or dome. Our capsule was pretty easy to access down a few steps, through the top hatch & down a ladder to the interior. (Some apparently require you wear a safety harness due to a more precarious entrance.) As long as you are steady on your feet and least somewhat fit you should be fine. It was divided into 3 sections with fabric shade dividers to pull down in case privacy is desired. But not a lot of privacy so…. It slept 4 people. There were 2 single beds in the center section & a large double (queen?) in the end section. At the other end was a large jacuzzi bathtub (we gave up trying to get it full of hot water) , sink & flush toilet. There was also a well stocked mini fridge (although bring your own if you don’t want to pay $8 for a small pack of 4 Oreos) & a tea kettle. (Didn’t use any so not sure if we would have been charged for the tea bags) Electricity & spotty Wi-Fi in the capsule. (Good Wi-Fi in the restaurant.) Water in sink filtered & drinkable. Windows open for ventilation which was necessary when the sun was out. Cold at night but comfortable beds & plenty of warm bedding. Curtains for privacy. Really very nice. Clean. A bit like living on a glass boat but with sky rather than sea around you. The views are just amazing. And thrilling. If you want a little less thrill but still the views and beauty, try the glass domes rather than the capsules. If you are in the area and can afford it, don’t miss it!

Total disaster: floor is broken, closet dusty, towels half wet, no hot water in faucet. In their room picture it is supposed to have a Wall TV, no, not there. I have never seen a dirtier hotel room after traveling 46 countries.

What a surprise when we got off of our bus and saw this place. The grounds are amazingly beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food was outstanding, I loved the soup and the chef was kind enough to share the recipe with me. The staff was friendly. This place was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru

While the staff were pleasant and nice, the rooms themselves were filthy and not functional. The shower hot water did not work in my room nor my friends room which we would overlook if the rooms themselves were livable. Our room specifically was covered in bugs - on the ceilings, crawling on the floors, and all over our beds. When we asked if we could be moved to a different room (that was clean), we were not granted that request and instead a man with bug spray came to kill the bugs. So instead we had dead bugs that fell all over our items (which he did stay to clean without us asking, so we appreciate that), and afterwards you weren’t able to breathe in the room because of the chemicals. I understand that given the location of where we are (directly near Machu Picchu) that hotels will not be 5 star luxury stays like what we would find in the states, but I do feel like if these are the conditions the hotels are in there should at least be nets, screens on windows/doors, etc in order to attempt to try and prevent these types of things.

Panorama B&B offers a quality accommodation in Machu Picchu Pueblo, at an affordable price. It also allows to enjoy an exceptional view of the mountains and the Sacred River of the Incas; all that from the comfort of each room.
Lovely B&B! Very kind folks, they met me at the train ( but very easy to find), all rooms have a balcony overlooking the river. Room was comfortable, clean, quiet, updated. Breakfast was very good! A Short walk to bus and train station. Don’t hesitate to stay here !
