One of the most historic cities in America, Philadelphia is an ideal place to spend a weekend - preferably a long one. Be sure to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were signed. Both are part of Independence National Historic Park. Philadelphia also boasts some outstanding art museums, including the Rodin Museum. The Franklin Institute Science Museum is one of many area attractions honoring the life and work of Benjamin Franklin, the city's most famous ambassador. After digesting all of that history, be sure you save room for a classic Philly cheese steak sandwich.

Manayunk Chambers Guest House is a charming and beautifully kept gem just seconds from Manayunk’s Main Street. Mark, one of the owners, and pastry chef extraordinaire, made our stay so warm and personal, it felt like visiting an old friend! Mark’s background as a pastry chef is a true gift to anyone who stays at this inn- I didn’t know my love for croissants until Mark! From the art on the walls, to the comfy beds, to the delectable breakfasts, the stay was perfect. We will surely be back soon!!!

La Reserve consists of two beautifully well-preserved, 1850's Four-Story Townhouses located only three blocks from Rittenhouse Square in the Heart of Historic Center City Philadelphia. Our convenient location is within walking distance to many exclusive shops and fine restaurants located on Rittenhouse Square, as well as many major Philadelphia Historic attractions and sights.
I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my stay here with my S/O. This is a small B&B that feels like HOME in the middle of the city. The property welcomes all (Families, LGBT people, etc) which was so so nice. Breakfast is provided and prepared by the manager, Maria and some other staff. It was absolutely delicious and the dining room is so cute and cozy! The Location Situated on Pine St right off of Rittenhouse Square, the location is PERFECT and gives you easy access to lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and the gayborhood. The Room We stayed in the Chateau Room on the second floor. Spacious, high ceilings, lovely french inspired decor. Shared bathroom with one other room on that floor was not a problem at all, and the bathroom shower was HOT and had everything one would expect. Open the cathedral window inside the shower to let some steam out. The Management Maria was an absolute dream of an operator. She welcomed us warmly at check in and gave us a printout with all of the necessary information regarding the property and how to access the front door after hours etc. A passionate woman with a kind heart and a real love for her business. Please be kind to her and her business, as it is obvious she puts her entire being into making it a success. Overall an experience that I would absolutely 100% prefer over any corporate hotel chain stay. Do yourself a favor and reserve a room at La Reserve on your next Philly visit!

What an adorable and inviting place! Beautiful Victorian home, gorgeous garden, and it's within walking distance of the art museum. Jill and Eric were very hospitable. We were greeted with a warm welcome and so many snacks! So. Many. Snacks. In our two night stay there was a basket of snacks and tea downstairs, scones, and wine. The next day there were cake balls, biscotti and the most glorious coconut cake I've ever had. Breakfast was phenomenal both mornings and they were accommodating to dietary needs. Our room was comfortable, clean, and cozy. I'm so glad we opted for a stay here instead of a hotel, the experience was one to remember.

This B&B is located in a lovely neighborhood about 12 miles north of Independence Hall. There is an adjacent park with lots of walking trails. Upon arrival, we went to the side door (since there were two B&B signs on the adjacent garage next to the side porch) and were directed to the other door; no introductions made upon entry. Our room was pretty, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom is shared with the guests in the other two rooms; not a problem, but we missed that detail in the fine print so were surprised. There was just one other guest, so it worked out just fine. Pets are not allowed, but there was a small dog in the house and present in the kitchen while we ate breakfast (selections of delicious home-baked goods, fresh fruit, and cereal); again we were surprised. We asked for restaurant recommendations; there are many within a 5- to 15-minute drive. We enjoyed dinner and walking around historic Chestnut Hill only 10 minutes away.
