If you are looking for an active place to stay with world-class attractions, Ohio’s major cities can satisfy any vacation desire. Each offers its own distinct flavor of fun, from professional sports – Bengals (Cincinnati), Cavaliers (Cleveland) and Indians (Cleveland again) – to museums, outdoor activities and more. One of the most famous is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. If football is your thing, don’t miss the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. For the science-minded, visit the meat eaters at the Carnivore Conservation Center in the Wilds near Cambridge, dedicated to the breeding and scientific study of endangered mid-sized carnivores. Kids will also love Planet Snoopy in Sandusky or the Columbus Zoo’s Zoombezi Bay Waterpark and Jack’s Landing rides.

We had a getaway weekend at the Carlisle. I can't think of anything to add that would make our stay any better, they think of everything. We asked for a recliner chair in our room and it was very comfortable. The place is spotless, the decor clean and is in a beautiful traditional style. We enjoyed it and will be returning soon.

Situated on a hilltop site in the historic Gaslight District of Clifton, the Gaslight B & B offers plush hospitality with quick access to the University of Cincinnati and downtown Cincinnati areas. This elegant 4 story home welcomes you with waving willow branches and a soft, bubbling waterfall, giving you feelings of leisure and coziness. These exterior delights are only a preview of the luxury and hospitality to come. Built in 1909, the house suffered extensive damage in a terrible fire on New Year's Eve 1998. Lovingly restored by owners Scott and Maria Crawford, the house offers all of the modern conveniences a busy traveler needs, yet retains the charm of the original stained glass windows and hardwood floors throughout. The original house boasted an in-law suite at the front second floor of the house. In the renovation, the "in-law" entrance was preserved for use as a separate entrance for guests. We hope you arrive as guests, but leave as friends.
This B and B was lovely and the hosts were terrific. The bedroom was very comfortable and well decorated and there were lounges on each floor where you could relax. The breakfasts were as good as anywhere- especially the blueberry and lemon curd pastry- that was one of our best meals we had on a 3-week trip!

The owner was very friendly and accommodating to any request that we had. They also have golf carts that you can rent. Will definitely make this our go-to place when in Put in Bay!

All of the rooms are named to pay homage to influential figures in Marietta's past. Located above The Galley restaurant and the Adelphia Music Hall, we offer room service during The Galley's operating hours as well as access to the finest dining in town. Plus, The Adelphia boasts live entertainment every weekend. All of the rooms at The Hackett are located on the third floor of an historic structure. Please keep in mind The Adelphia hosts entertainment every weekend and some week days from approximately 9:00pm until 2:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you foresee this being an issue, please contact us with questions.
Picked the Hackett as a fun option while in town visiting family and I’m so glad I stayed here. Yes there are stairs, the building was built in the 1800’s. Once upstairs you enter into a really comfy common space where you can get coffee, water, etc. I was in the largest room and it was amazing! I highly recommend it if you do a romantic get-away. The curtains close and black out light from the street at night. The bathroom was super cool with the stunning antique vanity and modern shower. Bed was super comfy and the room is really quiet overnight. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in Marietta.

In the tradition of Hillside Inn, seven graciously appointed guest rooms await your arrival. The quaint setting is that of a home away from home, although six of our seven guest rooms has an outdoor entrance. With its more intimate setting, Hillside Inn in Berlin is an ideal location for family retreats. Deluxe rooms have a Jacuzzi tub and one suite has a spacious living area, fully-equipped kitchen and extra bedroom. In keeping with its past as a Bed and Breakfast, the common areas feature a flat screen TV, a collection of DVDs and comfortable couches for lounging. On Monday through Saturday, you'll receive a certificate for "$10 off" breakfast buffet at nearby Berlin Farmstead Restaurant. On Sundays, hot breakfast will be prepared and served at the inn. Formally known as Carlisle Country Inn Berlin, Hillside Inn is now owned by the Thrive 360 Network Inc.
My wife and I spent a week here it was a great time our host Leona was great she made the best homemade biscuits and gravy. I complemented her on the homemade biscuits and later that night she brought me to my room a plate of homemade biscuits and warm honey and the recipe, she made you feel at home, she is a hard worker and pleasant to talk with. We chose here over Gatlinburg twice. The hotel is on the outskirts of town and is very quiet. So quite you can hear the horse and buggy going up the road and the horse's feet clopping on the road. It is very relaxing. The town has Amish stores and Antique stores. When you visit here check out the Amish theater in Millersburg. It's a great comedy show very similar to Hee Hall. We drove about 4 hours to get here.

We recently celebrated our daughter's graduation from the College of Wooster while staying at Market Street. The property was lovely and the hosts could not have been more accommodating! The breakfasts were amazing and we ordered take out and could eat on the property for the rest of the meals. There is a lovely coffee and small kitchen area available with all we needed for in between meal beverages and for eating the take out. And the house itself was beautiful! Overall, a fantastic place to stay for the weekend.
