This was our 4th stay at One on Hely and again we loved it very much. We had a lovely and clean room with beautiful views over the garden. Breakfast was delicious and Teigan gave us a very warm welcome! We did some beautiful hikes along the beach and through the coastal forest and mangroves. Mtunzini is a lovely little gem to which we will gladly return!

We stayed as a Family of 4 and booked 2 Double-rooms. We had a very nice time with a great breakfast. 1 room had a kitchenette, which was very usuful for having a quick dinner. One room unfortunately had a very noisy aircon-machine right next to the window, which was a bit annoying at Night, but the staff told us it would be fixed. Better idea would be to place it far away from Windows, but that is only my personal opinion…

There was no water due to a town burst water main so we washed in the swimming pool. Two 5ltr water bottles were placed in the room that I asked if were potable (Yes she said I but I do not think the lady understood the question). The bottled water actually came from the brackish swimming pool and so the water we made tea in the room was horrible and mild curdled.

We stayed at Seaview Lodge for one night a week ago. Our expectations were exceeded! Every one of our special requirements were met with a smile. We requested that the room be available to us at 10 am, the room was ready at 9 am already. In the afternoon while we were out they added the special additional package we requested. The following morning we were surprised to find our car had been washed. Thanks Jenny and team!

A quiet country hotel set in a unique location with both Nature Reserve and South Africa's most untouched beautiful beach. Tradewinds Country Inn is conveniently located just off the N2 in Mtunzini, Zululand, Kwa-Zulu Natal North Coast. A mere hour and a half drive from Durban, half way on route to Hluhluwe, Mkuze and St. Lucia.
Amenities list is flawed. Photos are flawed. No aircon. No coffee/tea. No bedding. Etc. Broken furniture. Toilet was leaking on arrival. Isn't cleaned often, on arrival there was dead grasshopper next to bed. See photos for an idea of standards now.

Clean and spacious room, delicius breakfast with fresh mango jus from the garden during season! We highly recomend this place to anyone visiting the region!
