Part of Morro de Sao Paulo’s charm is its mix of upscale, new hotels and restaurants with older, shabbier pousadas and taverns. This car-free and carefree island has just one road and a handful of beaches… it’s a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Natureza is an ideal alternative for those who prefer the local way without missing cosiness and comfort. Transmits a high quality of living with its privileged location, central and peaceful, the 3000 m2 of tropical garden complex offers breathtaking sea views and sunsets from almost all angles. For those who likes to practice ecological activities… sailing club with Tornados, Hobbie Cats, Tigers, A-Cats, lessons, trips and beach restaurant.
I stayed here for 2 nights in January. The location is fabulous, a short walk to the main square which has many restaurants and shops. And, no more than a 10-minute walk to the beaches and restaurants fronting them. Many of the rooms have lovely views. (Although this hotel is not appropriate for persons with disabilities - - there are many stairs). However, I feel the hotel is not well managed, and – at least during the first week of January - - offered poor value for money. The rooms cost more than $150 USD per night. Yet, the service was poor. Inexplicably, the room lacked the accoutrements that are common for hotel, such as a water glass and a chair. There is a hammock on the balcony, but no chair - - and not in the room either. I asked for a chair, which was not delivered the next afternoon. Moreover, the staff do not communicate with each other. I had breakfast in my room the first morning, and asked to have it delivered the second morning as well (I asked before I left for dinner). This was important because there were more than 75 stairs to my room (which was at the top). In the heat, I did not want to trek down and back up for breakfast. The desk clerk said this was no problem. I reminded a second person at the desk right when I returned from dinner. However, the next morning, no breakfast. I called to ask (around 30 minutes after it should have been delivered), and the desk clerk told me they were too busy. She did not apologize. I find the lack of service to be disappointing, especially given the price of the room. It is not priced as a guesthouse, but as a hotel. Yet, they have poor service. I would not stay here again.

This is a great hotel, nice rooms, comfortable, swimming pool, right on the heat of actions in the village. Their breakfast is terrific and as the poem pasargada says: right there, I’m a friend to the king! Everyday, they play Ravel’s boleto during sunset, creating a tremendous atmosphere. Non guests are even welcome for sunset and drinks. You can’t go wrong! Better sunset than Morcego upper on the hill.

You know that cozy place with comfort and good service and that fits your budget travel? Welcome to Pousada Bahia 10! :) One of the best hotels in Morro de Sao Paulo is an excellent option for those seeking a great value for money, without losing the quality and good service! With a prime location - in the heart of the island paradise - Bahia 10 offers own access to the Second Beach. A convenience that our guests love! Do not wait! Come to Morro de Sao Paulo!
The hotel is located about 100mts from the second beach. It is a great beach for kids and with several options of restaurants. It is also easy to get side trips from travel information desk located 20 meters far from the hotel. I think it is a bit price considering what the hotel offers and quality of the rooms.

The most popular beach in Morro de São Paulo reveals a unique and energizing landscape that blends the sea, nature, music and Bahia joy. It is in this setting of Second Beach which is located Bahia Tambor Inn. The themed environment that brings us to the beginnings of the early musicality, extolling the drums (Tambor) as instruments of creation of universal music, provides an unparalleled charm. Charm also seen in our facilities with wonderful views of the crystal - clear sea, the pool infinitia edge, the delicious breakfast, the friendliness and kindness of our team! All planned and done for you to feel the most special place of paradise, live unforgettable moments and nights equally fantastic!
First of all - the staff of Pousada Bahia Tambour is very friendly and helpful. From the Reception, Housekeeping, the Breakfast Girls and the friendly Boy Davidson on the Rooftop Pool Bar. Thank you. The Pousada is directly located on 2nd beach. You need to know - there is only two rooms with a view. Room 201 and Room 202. The other rooms - also called Deluxe rooms are quite small and in some rooms, you have no view at all, besides the wall of the Pousada. So do not expect much about the rooms. The breakfast area offers the same. Breakfast is nice and the girls do a good job - but it is more a sheltered room. We spent two weeks in the Pousada. Room 202 is the best room in the house. The other room, we changed a few times. The staff was helpful. Location is very central - sometimes loud in the night - but we knew that. The pool is medium small but really great and clean. The Pousada does not offer chairs on the beach. Thank you once again. We enjoyed the stay in Morro. It was not our first time.

The best bed and breakfast in Morro de Sao Paulo is located in a pacefull place close to the village and the beach. The rooms are very well equipped with fridge, fun, AC,TV, DVD, safe box and nice balconny with hammock.Excellent option for short money
We arrived and immediately felt welcomed. The owners are just amazing. They treated us like family. The room was clean and well kept. Good AC. Internet probably the best in morro with very strong signals everywhere in the property. Breakfast is pretty much made for individuals. It’s quiet, close to the city. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I tried attaching pictures of the place but they are too big. You will really enjoy it.

Pousada Bahia Brasil is a new modern and comfortable hotel located at the second beach in Morro de Sao Paulo, Bahia, Brasil. A 40 room hotel with private bath, LCD TVs, split air conditioning, minibar, swimming pool, room service and tropical breakfast included. A tropical sunny paradise all year around, with warm, crystal waters and white sandy beaches.
I've had a wonderful week after Carnaval in Morro de São Paulo. The staff was very nice, the room was comfortable and the meals (breakfast and the crepes) excellent! WIth a walk of 2 minutes to the beach we were close to the best "barracas" to stay and get some tan. I strongly recomment this place! About the city, there's no better place to be after the Carnaval. Lots of things to do, attractions every night and lots of foreigner tourists (specially Israeli people) to share the experience.

Your Home in Paradise with the comfort you deserve! In a paradise between the green of the forest and the blue sea of tropical and crystal clear waters, Bahia Bacana Inn is one of the nicest places in Morro de Sao Paulo, a famous destination. Located on First Beach, the Inn combines charm and rusticity of one of the most desirable locations in Morro, a structure modern and cozy , beachfront, with various options of accommodation, leisure and rest. Here is the ideal place to enjoy the tranquility and comfort , pure pleasure to enjoy the coast of Bahia.
This place is excellent they looked after us from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn’t ready so we got sent up to the bar had a few drinks until it was ready. There are two buildings one is at the sea front the other is street view but we had a spa bath and the view wasn’t bad at all. Good hearty breakfast really nice staff all greeted us and when the boat had no tickets left the receptionist NETE did everything she could to help us and to make sure we got home to the point of offering to go to the docks and messaging to make sure we were ok.

We went to this Pousada 3 times now. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It is has been continuously renovated over the years. The breakfast room is now very new, specious and modern. Breakfast has a good variety and is tasty. There is a new part that is being built. The pousada is clean, is very nicely located centrally, but quiet at night. The rooms do need some upgrade, therefore one star less, but this should not keep you from booking there.
