The largest and most famous of Tuscany’s spa towns, Montecatini Terme has been revered for its curative waters since at least the 16th century, when the first baths were built here. Two centuries later, neighborhood royalty began to take note after the opening of the town’s first grand spas, putting Montecatini Terme firmly on the aristocracy's radar. Beyond the array of fine spas featuring treatments old and new, today’s visitors come for the shopping, dining and sporting offerings, as well.

Suffice it to say, I'm staying at a hotel for the second time. Montecatini Terme is a place you come to for two reasons: To visit the spa or use the convenient location to visit all of Tuscany. If you are coming for this other reason, I highly recommend this hotel. You will not have some luxury here, but you will be experienced by the friendly staff and the most modest but beautiful hotel. I'll come to this hotel again.

Just returned from a weeks break at this faultless B&B. It was perfect in every way. They noticed it was my mother’s birthday and kindly left chocolates with a birthday note on our bed, such a nice gesture. The gentleman greeted us at all times and was the perfect host. He couldn’t do enough for us. Helped us out with places to go and ensuring at all times that the breakfast was okay. His wife made ricotta one morning, which was delicious!! I really cannot recommend this B&B enough. Do not hesitate in booking if you are staying in Montecatini Terme. Our room was on the top floor and had the most delightful balcony which had the view of the Alto. It also had a second balcony in the other part of the room. It’s perfectly located a couple of minutes walk to the Feniculore, tettichi spa and a luvly street with a fabulous, (very cheap) market. Thers a luvly restaurant in this market street too, Which we ate at every night, due to the food and service being top notch!! I think it was called Toscana Cucina. You will not regret staying here. If your a 4* type of person, then maybe not for you. We, however, whilst in foreign countries, love staying in ‘typical’ accommodation to the country. We knew we were in Italy as soon as we walked through the door.... unlike posh hotels, you could be anywhere in the world. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of spare pillows if needed. They even helped us with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Free WiFi. Signal very very good. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if in the area in future.

I stayed in the hotel as a tour guide with a big group. I have had good experience. The staff is really very kind and helpful, the rooms are quite small but clean. The breakfast was typically Italian and the dinner was really very good and rich every evening. The location of the hotel is very favourable, the funicular to Monte Alto is only some steps. I can recommend this hotel.

In the heart of Tuscany, in Montecatini Terme, you can find the newly built €œBed & Breakfast Petit ChÃteau. It is located near the thermal park, centre of congress, city centre and the shopping area.
The price/value rate is good! Breakfast is more than enough. If you are in a hurry or just staying shortly it is ok. The bad thing is that the voice is coming thrue the walls easily so if your neighbor is a family who are loud it is hard to have a rest. Another thing was very irritating. During the breakfast (every breakfast while we stayed) an older lady was staying at the hall. She is coughing very very strongly and this noise not matches at all to a breakfast time. The rooms are clean and we could choose when we arrived! Otherwise the staff is great! Samantha is very kind and very very helpful and fast in the communication. The reason why we have chosen this hotel was that she wrote us an answer in a couple of minutes by time we have sent our mail.

Stayed here in June 2018. With two other family members. The room in which I was in (twin room) was tiny and was certainly not enough room for 2 people. My mother’s double bed, was two singles pushed together. The bathroom is excellent if you like sitting on the toilet sideways due to no leg room. The duvet covers all had holes in - but they were clean on arrival. You are situated in the rough end of Montecatini and it is also a red light area. On several occasions in the evening we saw women going out to ‘work’. The breakfast was so disgusting that we opted not to stay for the free evening meals and we we ventured around Montecatini Terme (a 15 minute walk takes you into the bustling town that has nice restaurants - that aren’t over priced, as well as park). The continental breakfast was stale bread, diluted juice and warm yoghurts. The staff there were 5* and very helpful. But I would not recommend going with a National Holidays to here as it’s really not worth the money. The trips are good but involve a lot of walking as if you don’t go on the private tours, they drop you in the middle of no where so you have to use taxis to get where you want.
