Welcome to Garni Diamant, the ideal ambience to spend a pleasant vacation in San Vigilio. Garni Diamant is situated in the village centre, at just 500m from the first ski lifts and at only 2km from the Nature Park Fanes-Senes-Braies. Our house was built in 1972 by my father personally. In 1978 it was expanded and then regularly restructured in order to make it suit all necessary requirements.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location
Reviewed By jayhorWe loved everything about the hotel - the apartment was spacious and comfortable and had a very large terrace with a view on the slopes. The breakfast buffet is delicious and there is a bakery just on the opposite side of the street. There is also a supermarket within a 10min walk and a skibus stop almost directly in front. We absolutely loved the wellness area, with saunas and a large swimming pool and fitness area. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a fantastic ski holiday!

Bed and Breakfast Villa Dolomites ¤¤¤ is located in a very quiet and green area of the town. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, it is the ideal place to relax. The property is next to a very nice and wide forest, where you can walk for hours. The Family Management of the house favours a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and grants the maximum quality of the offered service, with care and attention to all those details among which the difference can be done between "a beautiful vacation" and one "unforgettable vacation". The House is a typical South-Tyrolean Chalet, entirely covered with wood both externally and internally. The structure is composed of two floors plus the basement. The Interior Design and furniture is charming and of best quality. The lounge at the ground-floor is very large and comfortable, with a lovely fireplace, two big tables with the typical wooden benches, and sofa. The Garden, ample and pleasant, with the beautiful lawn and the magnificent firs of many different varieties, the pines, the bushes of yellow daisy wheel, offer, especially in summer, pleasant times of relax. The Rooms for the guests are located at the first floor and are all equipped with private bathroom with tab, balcony and or bowindow. Accommodates up to 20 persons in partnership with Bed and Breakfast Villa La Bercia ¤¤¤¤.
Amazing little stay in the heart of San Vigilio
Reviewed By Q1391PBmarkcI recently travelled here for a short stay and I can't praise it enough. The location is right in the centre of several incredible hiking areas. Nothing was too much in terms of service. As my stay was out of season, there weren't many restaurants available but they took their time to call and make sure I had places to go. Breakfast was perfect before going out for long trips and always on time. As a solo traveller, I fully appreciated how much they made me feel welcome and provided all the facilities I needed.

Reviewed By Traveller239897I cannot speak about the facilities because I was not able to confirm my reservtion there. Apparently, the owner thought that my question about the possibility to have an additional bed in the room for my son and to try to make sure that we would not end up in a box after they agree (I was ready to make the downpayment right away) was a personal offence and suggested that he'd rather not confirm my reservation. I was shocked. I have traveled all over the world and not once have I received such a disgraceful reply to a polite question.

Comfortable apartments in beautiful location with great hospitality
Reviewed By tarvot378We spent a nice spring week of skiing in San Vigilio in March 2022. Our group was consisting of two families, both with 2 children. We stayed in Ciasa Lavarella and one family had a two bedroom apartment and second family had two single bedroom apartments. All of rooms were very clean, freshly renovated and spacious. Apartments had large balconies with amazing views. Ciasa Lavarella has a great location within walking distance from ski lifts, grocery store and many nice restaurants. Our host Maria and her family was really helpful and hospitable, making our stay a real pleasure. Definitely recommended!

A lovely stay in the Dolomites
Reviewed By Njo_82We stayed here for the Maratona - the staff were really helpful and stored our bikes in a safe place throughout our stay. The food was good, basic but nice selection at breakfast and a full three course meal at dinner. The room was great - we had a river outside our window which we both found really relaxing, and we slept extremely well here. The only comment is that the internet is a bit slow, so the could do with a wireless booster of some sort - it still worked fine though for regular internet use.

Great finish to a long hike.
Reviewed By gkbpilleyAfter hiking for a week in the Dolomites and staying at some comfortable and welcoming Rifugio's it was a delight to reach Villa La Bercia and stay the night. Giovanna greeted us with a cool drink and provided maps, checked transport for the following day before showing us to our room. We were travelling with another couple and we found both our rooms to be large, comfortable with access to the veranda which surrounds the house. The ensuite bathrooms were large, clean and more than adequate. The villa is a short 10 minute walk to town and near a private forest which adds to the ambience. The internal timber paneling is typical of the area and added to the homely feel of the house. Breakfast was the best we had while on the trip and Giovanna could not have been more helpful. We would strongly recommend this accommodation.

Nice mountain hotel
Reviewed By Marc LStayed at hotel Gran Pre for three nights in a ski vacation. It's a very nice, very practical mountain hotel, good facilities, very friendly personnel. Ski room is big enough and easily reachable. Ski bus is only a few meters walk away. The girl is located a bit outside the centre of San Vigilio, but everything is easily reachable. During my stay they offered only half pension, but were ok with us eating elsewhere some evenings. Advice: if you take the ski bus, get off at the first stop and cross the valley with the cable car. It's much faster than sitting in the bus until it reaches the next cable car.

Reviewed By Alessio_A_80I have to think very very hard for something that wasn't perfect. Location, fantastic. Hans, the manager just a fantastic guy. The chalet design and materials, no 5 star hotel beats it. The one glitch I discussed with Hans is that food service is not available should you decide to not cook nor eat out. If they fix it they take my 10 vote, for now it is a earned 9.5. Ciao Hans, great job, bravissimi!!!!

Never again - worst case scenario!
Reviewed By AS_FCSP1910It was a worse case scenario to stay there; the owner was really unfriendly, the service bad and the food inedible. It was loud early in the morning and the restaurant crowdy due to a missing covid concept. Staff didn't wear a mask and no desinfectin available. Shower was broken. Everything was really loveless. Highlight: the owner has shouted at us in front off all the people after we gave her an open feedback. We left earlier.
