Renovated in late 2017, each of the rooms serviced daily, are warmly carpeted and inviting with a Queen bed, kitchenette and en-suite, fresh linen, reverse cycle air conditioning, tv with dvd, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, toaster and kettle. A complimentary continental breakfast consisting of cereals, fresh milk and juice is included in the rate.
We drove to Boddington from Perth for a wedding and stayed at the Boddington Motel. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff and stayed in a very comfortable room. The price was very good and included breakfast (toast, juice, tea/coffee and cereal). The room was neat and tidy with a comfortable bed. Well recommended.

Just about 2 hours of drive from Perth and we were at this beautiful green place hidden in the woods so quaint and quiet. The place has upside of getting you completely disconnected from the urban life however, if you don't want that, please note that my Optus network was not working there. My husband's Telstra was receiving signals and was our only way of connection to the outer world. Facility in itself was nice clean wooden cabin, ours was with the trees view which we totally loved.

This B&B gave us more than a bed to sleep while in Mandurah. It gave us a home, great hospitality and service beyond our expectations. Would recommend this establishment to families , social groups and or couples who want to spend time together. We can only hope to visit again when next we are in Mandurah. Love the dolphins that kept us company.

Beautiful homely B&B on Port Mandurah's scenic canals. Under an hour by car or train from Perth in Western Australia. Fabulous views from the balcony. Watch the dolphins swim by and catch crabs from the jetty. Comfortable rooms with TV and en-suite facilities - spa bath or shower. Private guest lounge with TV and DVD. Tea, coffee and fridge facilities. Quiet residential location just a short walk from the beach, coffee strip, restaurants and boutiques. Four golf courses nearby. Full cooked breakfast included. Dinner by arrangement. Free wifi. Free secure parking. Air conditioning. Long stay enquiries welcome.
Just returned after spending 6 nights at this gem of a property. We stayed in the "spa suite", which was lovely even though we did not have a spa. Room is larger than the "other rooms" and well worth the extra money. We opted for breakfast which Maria and Bill cooked every day. It was beautifully cooked and presented. Big servings which was enough to keep you going the whole day. Choice of 3 lovely outside relaxing areas with tables and chairs, lots of Dolphin sightings and even tried a bit of fishing as well. Thoroughly recommend this small B&B really felt like home.

We hobbled over to the Dwellingup hotel for some last minute dinner and we were so pleasantly surprised.. It was quite busy and did have a social club sort of vibe so we weren’t sure what the food would be like if they were rushed but honestly it was amazing! The portions were great! Everything was of the best quality.. Everything down to the side salad was the best it could be. Some places you’ll go and they will Chuck on just what is needed to complete the meal but the salad was made of the nicest leaves, dressing, presentation.. I had the chicken schnitzel expecting it to be quite standard but it was made with pure juicy tender chicken breast. My partners pie looked better than any he’s had before.. and the chips were the best we’ve had in ages. The staff were friendly and inviting and it was a really nice meal out. We would definitely go back again..

OMG I wanted to try the parmi here for ages as I always hear how amazing it is It definitely did NOT disappoint!!!! They are absolutely massive and so delicious We went on a Saturday and they were only $20 each which was a steal for the size they are too The lady allowed me to have a seniors size - which was still massive for me! They have a lot of different types to choose from too But if parmi isn’t your thing, there is alot of normal pub style food on the menu which all looked great It’s a little old pub, but perfect for a nice meal and drink. Sitting outside in the courtyard on a nice sunny day, it’s lovely. They also have a TAB for those who like a sneaky bet Only downfall was they were very busy with only one lady serving at the bar for meals and drinks, which also meant our meals took a while. But they did warn before we ordered. The staff were great! Would highly recommend if coming through town

Now managed by the people who run the Sunbreakers Restaurant which is now in this complex we have found that the complex is better managed and has the bonus of a GREAT restaurant for breakfast, lunch a dinner. There is a mini tennis court, a pool and a bbq and is located very close to the city centre shops etc

Amy, the property manager, at first seemed like a very nice and genuine person. Very helpful and understanding. However, after staying there for a total of 24 hrs, we had enough as things just weren't working out (at no fault of our own). These were the issue encountered in that one day: It was pet friendly (i confirmed and re confirmed this) but she told us to leave on day 2 because she couldn't handle our beagle not getting along with her 3 cats (despite the fact they kept attacking HIM). She also double booked the first night and we had to stay in her spare room but still paid the full rate. Once she finally arranged the guesthouse for us she didn't clean the bathrooms properly and left the fridge dirty. When i tactfully offered to clean the toilet she didn't hesitate to offer me a bucket with cleaning gear (instead of doing it herself!). She also decided she wasn't going to provide breakfast despite it being included in the tariff. She limited us to using the kitchen facilities to only at dinner time despite the fact I made sure it was available all day upon booking (we have a 16 month old on a special diet). She wasn't happy with previous guest using the kitchen so she told us we weren't allowed to use the facilities anymore. She promised me the guesthouse was entirely ours (5 bedrooms) and we will not share with anybody. Well, we were sharing with one lady 3 days a week and then a second lady was coming two weeks later! Not what we wanted or agreed upon! She lives there herself and the back deck is shared which is fine. What makes it unacceptable, she smoked in front of us despite the fact we are a non smoking family. She had no problems blowing the smoke into our son's face! All in all, the countless emails sent between Amy and myself prior to our arrival were a waste of time as pretty much everything turned out to be different once we actually got there. We were sincere and upfront with her, yet she failed to tell the truth on a number of occasions and had created nothing but drama for all of us. I don't recommend this holiday rental as sharing her private living quarters with her guests just doesn't work in this arrangement!

Rang to book (months in advance) a room with them as I wanted a Motel style room. They said the rooms were being painted and they would phone me when finished in about a week. I waited 2 weeks and then had to phone them, the rooms were finished and ‘sorry we forgot to ring you’. So I made my booking for the room. On the morning that we were going to Boddington, I phoned to confirm booking - very abrupt, curt woman in the other end if the phone says - yeah I remember your name - yea you’re booked. Get there to find that we haven’t got the room we booked as someone has been staying in it two nights before and wanted to stay on so they gave it to him. Tell me, you’ve got the kitchen room ??? and you have to share bathrooms and toilets!!!! I thought a booking was a confirmed booking, I wouldn’t recommend them or ever book with them again. Wrecked our weekend so upsetting. Although after reading other reviews they couldn’t care less.

My husband and I have been at the Murray River Lodge over the long weekend. We booked the river view room with breakfast. The room was really nice, with a very comfortable bed, and had a balcony with table and view on the Murray River. Breakfast was great - complete of fresh delicious fruit. The location was perfect; the lodge is on the river surrounded by nature and lots of wildlife, so great to relax, yet just 15 minutes drive from Mandurah if you wish to dine out. John is a fantastic host, very kind and approachable and welcomed us with a cheese platter and wine. Definitely recommed to stay here if you are in the area! Thanks John, Sara and Bernd
