Reviewed By stafepupDelightful quiet very green locale. It's a delight to wake up to birdsong in the Phillipines where usually mornings belong to crowing roosters. Lapu lapu cottages are situated at the end of a cult de sac and is well treed and charmingly green, an oasis in the concrete jungle. Rooms are cosy and spacious, everything is spotless and the restaurant serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend the place to any discerning traveller.

Reviewed By aneta_chQuite a quirky place, and feels like middle of nowhere. For us it was convenient with their bike rental on site, and very close to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean, the bar are was very pleasant with pool table to enjoy the evening. Burger was very average.

Reviewed By IsabelcocoStayed here for 8 days and had a wonderful time! The location is great. It's right across a grocery, and so near many establishments (mcdonalds, a taco shop, a cafe, etc). The resort is family run so everyone working there is so accommodating and helpful and warm. We also booked a day of island hopping through Karancho and it was a great hassle free experience! After that, we had some drinks at their cool bar out front which also offers a great selection of food. Their beach is the perfect place to catch the sunrise, and they also sell the best mango graham shakes ever. 10/10 staying here the next time i'm in cebu!

Reviewed By thomas fBeautiful resort. There for wedding. My room was spacious and clean. Tv and WiFi working. My concern as a senior was lack of safety bars in the bathroom. Stairs to and from beach were a challenge. More ramps would help. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely done. Wedding venue was bright and decorated with flowers and set ups. Good stay.

Reviewed By Lynne WThe staff are so attentive and friendly. There is nothing they won't do for you. The Manager, Frecklish, is so accommodating. They made our holiday an experience to remember. The pool is so clear and the restaurant serves delicious food. The rooms are clean and it has its in private beach and jetty if you wish to dive or go island hopping. Just the right size. Many hotels in Mactan are so big you will feel lost. Been twice now and planning again to return next year with family ?

Amaris Bed & Breakfast is New is a apartment type hotel great for business or group stay for we have spacious rooms, we Have rooms Good for 3 persons and rooms good for 6, And we are 5 minutes from Mactan Cebu International Airport.

Pros: - Family room has large beds/small bunk beds that can fit up to 8 ppl. - Clean room - less than 10 mins to/from Airport - Buffet breakfast - Very helpful staff - Printing services - hot/cold water refill - separate toilet sink and kitchen sink - accessible to public transport Cons: - small separate shower and toilet. Could have combined it for more space. - breakfast food taste is average. - minimal toiletries (no toothbrush/toothpaste available) - weird smell from toilet sink. - Entrance is on the 2nd floor. No escalator/elevator. All in all, this place is still worth it if you are looking for a place near the hotel.

Poor value for money in a not great area
Reviewed By 757juliahPros- -quiet (most of time) small hotel -good air con - diving available on site Cons -nearby hotel and clubs meant very loud music/fireworks etc until 1-2am -there is a mosquito problem which the hotel needs to do more to manage. Clearly due to lots of standing water nearby but being bitten 10 times at night despite having repellant is not great -very uncomfortable beds and pillows -no maid service to room, despite being there 4 nights -no food, other than breakfast, available -area is the quieter end of Mactan but you are then limited for restaurants so need to travel at night etc Overall at 4000 pesos per night, this should be better and has the potential to do so.

Fabulous pool
Reviewed By prinoalWe had a lovely time in cvh. The pool and bar area is great. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for the price. The staff espessially the cleaners and gardeners are very friendly. Could do with some more stock for cocktails. They only had margerita. Nothing else in stock. The band are very good. Will be back soon. Thanks to Lisa and Erik.
