Lovely little hotel on the Chemin Stevenson. Rooms clean and comfortable and restaurant was very good. For a fairly remote location a varied choice of menus at reasonable prices. Friendly host and staff . Covid precautions were good although bar could get busy but was easy to avoid and you could have pre dinner drinks at your dinner table .Seat was well organised and distanced. This was a really pleasant stop at the end of a relatively hard days walking.

Recently renovated rooms but no a/c. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel has a restaurant with a good menu but we did not eat there. There is a bar opened until 8pm. Friendly reception but closed between 12pm to 3pm

We stayed here for a night during a bike tour and everything was perfect. Large comfortable rooms, fabulous meal and friendly owners. The nearby village has a sculpture walk which is super cool, and the area is peaceful and interesting. Highly recommended!

We will be pleased to receive you in our welcoming place wich is a farm as well as a hotel, located in the heart of the Parc National des Cevennes, not far from Florac. After discovering the wonderfull view, a warm welcome awaits you and you will be taken to your accommodation to settle in before attending to a convivial evening meal. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to make cheese, learn how to make sausages, milk the goats, and even to visit our cellars and meet all our animal farms (more than fifteen species). La Ferme des Cevennes is as well an ideal base for fantastic walks that you can even share with the company of one of our friendly donkey.
If you want a worst nightmare surely you can visit, stay and enjoy their food. Else, please don't go. The hygienic is compromised totally. You can see spider web everywhere. Along with animals you can find files and rats. If you are lucky, you can see rats in the kitchen during dinner. Files can be found from the reception to your rooms. Animals' dung are not cleaned properly. Unwell animals are kept with good ones. The food price is very expensive for what is served. Rooms aren't cleaned. Please avoid kids if you plan for staying. Please check weather before planning your trip.

Stayed over for one night on the way to the south. We got lost we should have took the right turn at roundabout but went straight into Antrenas and after 45 minutes and written directions from a very nice French man we arrived at 9.45pm. The friendly owner who didn't speak English, did make the 5 of us a late dinner which was appreciated and so was the local house vin rouge. Rooms basic but done the job at £50 the night. Kids and husband lived the table tennis and we all played pool until bedtime. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

Wonderful old building in a fabulous location, however we felt a bit uncomfortable. Internal decor could do with a facelift and the bedroom lacked everything - not even a glass for water. Very basic, but an interesting overnight stop!

Absolutely in the centre of town. Our room was opposite the main building. Great location, but our room was very small. Found it difficult to move in the room. Superb location for exploring the area. Beautiful medieval villages around. The restaurant in the hotel has different menus to select from. A great place to spend a few days to explore - and walk.

A brief but very enjoyable stay in a historic inn. Returning from our Atlantic beach vacation, our 1 night rest at Garde-Guerin was a perfect break from the autoroute. We arrived a bit late in the evening but the friendly owner nevertheless made sure to take time from his parallel duties as chef (!) to make sure we were well settled in. He was even considerate enough to reserve us a table at the auberge’s restaurant knowing we would be arriving a bit tired. And were we thankful he did! The food was excellent, using local ingredients and prepared with care and sophistication. The town of Garde Guerin itself has a fascinating history. Created by the Knights Parièrs to protect pilgrims journeying on the Regordane path, this fortified medieval bastion has kept much of its original character of stone and mystery. The same can be said of the Auberge La Regordane where you’ll be sure to appreciate sojourning in the the old tower and family quarters of the Knights. The rooms themselves were comfortable, very clean, and with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was very good. Our only regret was not staying a few more nights to explore the historic and natural surroundings.
