Reviewed By 64kdc1From the moment I first arrived at this establishment the owners made me feel like an honoured guest or family member. Nothing was too much for them. The rooms were spacious, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The food - prepared by their well-qualified son - was superb and the bar and outdoor areas were fantastic for the afternoons and evenings. Set in a lovely quiet street, I would recommend this resting spot for business or family travel.

Short but amazing stay
Reviewed By EfcstephenOn route to Botswana we stayed at Klippan River Lodge for the evening before the border crossing. We stayed in a beautiful and clean room on the banks of the river. We arrived in the darkness of night but were pleasantly surprised in the morning to see the beautiful surroundings. The room was self catering and it was very well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. Staff there were very pleasant. Will definately go back but for a couple of days next time.

The African sun sets in this serene Mogol Golf course, where one can take breathtaking walks whilst listening to the melodic chirps of birds singing in your ear to unwind or simply socializing on a game of golf. One is most certainly assured to blend in thoroughly at this pristine environment credited by its 3 star grading. Located +/-10 min drive to CBD,Matimba, Exxaro and Medupi.

A rewarding stop
Reviewed By Hans KWe stayed at Zoete Rust after being in the bush in Zambia for three weeks! It was just what the doctor ordered! The staff are friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The room was small but exceptionally well equipped. The dining room leads onto a wide patio beside the pool The three course supper was part of the price (R850 per couple - if we had stayed for breakfast this could have been more). It was a wonderful experience and good value for money. I heartily recommend them for an overnight stay.

It was also disturbing to sleep whilst other guests were sitting outside on the verandah socializing and smoking. Would prefer to sleep in a non-smoking part of the hotel.

Reviewed By nathaliedT3364UARoom was good, clean but quite dark. Mini fridge and microwave in the room but no safe, hair dryer or iron. Free wifi but connection was very poor. Small pool, decent breakfast (included). Hotel is not to far from town.

This tranquil African style guesthouse is centralized, on route to the Eskom and Medupi Power stations and the mines, 5 mins walking distance from Pick n Pay square, restaurants, cafes and 15 minutes from Lephalale Mall and Mogol club. Facilities include : swimming pool, braai areas, gym, 2 dining rooms.

Reviewed By Di PMost shabby and neglected accommodation I've stayed in for a long time. Here are the complaints: Broken bed and dirty used linen on the beds. We asked for it to be changed. Unprofessional staff and misinformation in advertising of facilities. No wi fi. Excuse - not working today! Cluttered premises- view form the room window - old washing machines and junk. Poorly organised parking. No security as electric gate not working. Curtain pelmets hanging off the hooks. Bathroom door handle hanging off its screws, so can not be closed. They profess to offer breakfast, but its only for one of the two guests. Second guest pays for breakfast. No early breakfast offered. Generally a neglected, dirty, depressing guesthouse.
