Bounded by the Karakoram and Himalayan mountains, Ladhak is the largest province in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The landscape of Ladhak, a high altitude desert, is defined by craggy, barren cliffs and plateaus. Ladhak is a favorite among adventure sports enthusiasts, offering unique adventures in trekking, mountaineering and white water rafting. While rafting options are available on both Indus and Zanskar rivers, the Zanskar course is more difficult and exciting. The trekking options range from short, day-long walks to visit monuments or monastic settlements to long, trans-mountain treks involving weeks of walking and camping in the wilderness. Ladhak celebrates a numbers of monastic festivals - annual events of the major monasteries primarily in winters. The month of September, hosts the Ladhak Festival, that gives a peek into the richness, depth and pageantry of Ladakh's centuries-old culture, traditions and folk heritage. One can witness the best samples of the region's performing arts, Archery contests and the Ladhak Polo Cup.

The Saraha, Ladakh, surrounded by the picturesque Stok Kangri range is a one-of-its-kind 18 room boutique hotel. Located at the quieter end of the town, the hotel is hardly a kilometer away from the main Leh Bazaar and can also be reached by foot following a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Influenced by traditional architecture with modern-day amenities, The Saraha provides for a tranquil holiday.
We booked 3 rooms for a night stay in this rather newly built hotel. The rooms allotted to us were on the 1st floor and they were big, comfortable, modern, with attached balcony and all the amenities for a luxurious stay. The food was simple but wholesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Step out into the balcony and let your spirits soar free with the lofty mountains. Snugly wrap around you the magic of the land the innocence of the people and the warmth of the place. Love your heart to the achingly beautiful scenery as you walk along a gurgling stream guarded by tall and proud poplars on its side. Located in the lap of Zanskar Range in Ladakh, Saboo Resorts is just seven kilometers from Leh town, allowing you access to the bustling town and at the same time just a step away from the Ladakh village life. Fifteen cozy cottages blend into local landscape, each with its own living room and exclusively private verandah overlooking the Stok Kangri, Stok Range, farm fields and several glacier-melt rivers. Each cottage boasts of two plush, queen sized beds to sink in; unarguably our most favored amenity.

Leh Stumpa is a Guest House run by a traditional Ladakhi family. Tucked away from the noisy bazaar, it is located on the peaceful Upper Tukcha Road that is not more than a 10 minute walk away from the Centre of Leh Market. Along with running the guest house, we have a farm from which you will be able to enjoy freshly 'picked' meals. Located around 900 metres from Shanti Stupa, the hotel is also an 10 minutes walk away from Gompa Soma. The property is non smoking throughout and is located 1.7 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. At the hotel every room comes with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kitchen, a dinning area and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. Leh Stumpa features some rooms with mountain views, and the rooms include a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a dishwasher. A buffet breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. The restaurant at the accommodation service Indian cuisine.
The guest house is so good, spacious, clean, well maintained. The hospitality of the people is just great. Even we are three adults and one kid. They have triple sharing family room with proper bed. Even after placing the extra bed, it is spacious. Yasreef the boy is in charge and obliging all our demands with smiling face. Location wise also good away from hustle bustle of main market area. Only one point to be considered. The spread in breakfast and dinner can be little more especially in breakfast only one item (either poha or puri or alu paratha), though this is the trend for entire leh guest house, otherwise perfect.

Hotel Himalayan Residency is located north of Leh at Khakshal Road and is a comfortable kilometer and a half uphill walk from the main Leh market. The hotel provides a peaceful, quiet and meditative atmosphere. Many religious and historical places, such as the Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo and the Leh palace are well within walking distance from the hotel. One can walk up the Namgyal.
This place is perfect for people who want to spend their holiday in a peaceful and luxurious way... The staffs are really courteous and they can guide you in the best possible way to enjoy your entire trip without having any altitude Sickness... They have oxygen cylinders to give you immediate treatment in any kind of emergency situation( basically the problems occurs due to lack of oxygen)... Food is another best thing about this place.... Now coming to the views this place will give you heavenly views. .. Leh Market is also nearby to this place.. So this place deserves a big thumbs up..

There is no shortage of things to do in the area: explore popular government buildings such as Leh Post Office. At Achina, your comfort and satisfaction come first, and they look forward to welcoming you to Leh.
Achina Guest House is a fantastic place to stay in Leh. The main market is only about ten minutes' walk away. The apartment itself has multiple bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) and a common living space with a kitchen. There are plenty of pots and pans, silverware, glasses, etc. for cooking. Gyalson, the host, is an incredibly nice fellow who ensured that we always had plenty of drinking water, blankets, etc. He also gave us tips on what to do and see in the area, what we should expect to pay when hiring a driver to visit all of the local monasteries and other sites, and checked in regularly to ensure that we were comfortable. Two of our party were actually feeling unwell after our stay in Delhi, and Gyalson brought them plenty of homemade soup and looked after them. Leh is an amazing city and Gyalson's B&B is the place to stay. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything :)

A boutique hotel with nineteen well-appointed rooms. We have a conference hall for 30-40 pax, a coffee shop and a rooftop lounge, Blue Sky.
I would like to thank all the staff of Sera for everything they did for our stay for 5 nights and 6 days. Our stay was split in 2 nights then 1 night and in the end 2 nights. They gave us proper advice/guidance which helped us in all the ways as we had 2 kids along with us on Ladakh tour. The food was awesome and the restaurant staff was very proactive and supportive. Best hospitality, service and very humble staff. I would recommend this resort for everyone on Ladakh tour. -Thanks

I keep going back to Noble House again and again and again. The Hotel is spotless clean tucked in a very cost nook of the city and far from madenning crowds. But what makes Noble House spectacular is the true Ladakhi way of hospitality with a huge smile. That makes the day.

Rooms are spacious with attached bathroom. We have our own garden restaurant serving Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. Our property is located very close to the city center.
really love this place! very tidy and clean, the owner is fun and well organised everything especially taking care all the guests! I definitely will come back this place near future!
