Good location but overpriced with nary a view of the lake
Reviewed By LavendCDisappointed with the room that promised views of the lake, we could only see a glimmer of it from our 2nd flr room. Location is good but you have look out for the small signage at Macs across the train station. Follow it to a side entrance and take the lift to the reception at 1st flr. Sad pillows so bring your own. Toileries provided and even ear plugs bec of the noise from the streets below. water pressure is gd but shower stall is really small with doors that dont close well so you may flood the bathroom if not careful.

Das Hotel befindet sich im historischen Stadtzentrum von Konstanz, in einem historischen Gebäude aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Nach der Renovierung, bei der wir großen Wert darauf gelegt haben, das alte Gebäude mit modernen Möbeln zu kombinieren, wurde die Pension Anfang des Jahres 2016 wiedereröffnet.

Reviewed By Euronovelties APension am Fischmarkt is new, opened last year and we were there. Situated in a very old building, part of the original fish market in town and sadly all of this does not exist anymore. They have decided to renovate and build up that old part of Konstanz and now we have a lovely street atmosphere, with a beautifully renovated hotel. The room are small, but cosy. It is stairs for you, no lift, but then we keep fit! We had a room with shower and toilet in room, very comfortable beds and a lovely breakfast awaiting you in the mornings! The word here is QUINT.

Really central, basic hotel
Reviewed By MDMAW11The position is the most positive feature as this is well positioned for exploring the old town of Konstanz. Also near the station, harbour and sealife-centre. The room was very basic so really a little pricey for what we got. Nice and near to restaurants and we just went to a cafe round the corner for breakfast which was very nice. The lady was very helpful in her directions to restaurants and the cafe so this was fine for us for one night.

Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge, aber auch ruhig. Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir fanden es sehr gut, dass wir unsere E-Bikes in einem separaten und abschließbaren Raum abstellen konnten.

Reviewed By Ruchika RRude and overconfident staff who can take no criticism and value their own convenience over guests. The breakfast is monotonous, over priced and quantity is also not good. There was just one portion of 2-3 bread types and I would wonder why they do not refill it. Even there was a limited choice of fruits. I stayed in the guesthouse for 3 nights and I got bored with the same scrambled eggs and bread for the breakfast everyday. The reception is closed after evening and if you have a problem or a question, you will find nobody to help you. This guesthouse is only recommended for a night stay and not more than that. Also people with family or small kids should not book this place as this is a very lonely and isolated guesthouse with caretakers sleeping after evening. The rooms are cold as they lower their heaters in the midnight and you get an extra blanket only the next day because there is nobody at the reception/house keeping to talk to. Also wi fi does not work but they wont believe you. In short, normally a family run guesthouse has a personal touch when they take care of their guests. I found totally disinterested staff who only work for money.

Reviewed By JSWagingEin sehr freundlicher Empfnag in diesem tollen Hotel. Unbedingt die Zimmer im Dachgeschoß wählen, komplett in Holz ausgekleidet schläft man hier super. Das Frühstück gibt es im dazugehörenden Landhotel Traube mit Aufschnit vom dazugehörenden Schlachter.
