Reviewed By AVStripsI stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The staff is very cordial. The food is good and view from the pool/rooms is amazing. Special thanks to front desk staff who helped us with early check-in and arranging the triund trek. I guess it's one of th few resorts in dharamshala with pool. Recommended to stay here.

"Comfortable Place in Mid Way"
Reviewed By Himanshu_SonyStayed here on the way while moving from Vaishnodevi to Delhi. I decided to stay here after reading the reviews of other travelers. My decision was not wrong. Property was big with good parking facility. Every thing was well maintained as per the expectation. clean room with bigger space. Food was very nice and tasty. if you are going to himachal and want to relax on highway this hotel is best. Only one suggestion what i want to give is staff at reception must be professional with smiling faces.

Worst staff and No Amenities provided
Reviewed By Sherpa829376I booked a stay for me and my two family members and I book Chimbalhar Heights, Palampur through makemytrip.com. I booked Deluxe room and I read what Amenities are included in my stay. So I packed my bags as per my booking. But tye worst experience started when I went there. My room didn't had any Toiletries, No Toilet Tissue Roll, No water.. nothing was there. I was so annoyed and irritated with the staff because when you asked them to provide these items, it took them 5hours to provide me all the items. Towel was also not there in the bathroom. And I spoke to the owner who is Retired Captain from the Indian Army and on phone he sounded very promising and professional but when you reach there... you have to be on your own risk because either you will be fighting with the staff to get the items delivered in your room or you will end up being irritated on yiur vacation. I think makemytrip.com should investigate these properties first and then list them on their portal. In the end, I would just say that please investigate throughly before booking through makemytrip.com because some Fraudulent hotels like Chimbalhar Heights are also registered on their portal.

Reviewed By Jaideep JLocated just opposite Kangra bus stand. Rooms are very small and very average. But it is better in the lot. Rs1000 per day. No room service. Main advantage is location. For family, better look elsewhere.
