Jutland's south offers a slew of seafaring towns. Don't miss charming Ribe, home to flotillas of nesting storks. Fjords, dunes and islands await on its fringes, while moors and marshes stretch across its interior. The south is an idyllic spot for cycling. Rolling hills, heath and heather feature in central Jutland. Endless white sand beaches line the coasts. To the north, the windy North Sea coast is home to beech forests, lovely beaches and beautiful light and is loved by surfers and artists.

Nice little exclusive and intimate hotel in Skagens old ship smithy, part of the town's authentic harbour environment. Next to the Swedish Seamens church.
This was our first visit and stay in Skagen, so maybe a bit rushed to make 'Skagen Harbour Hotel' our preferred hotel for future visits, but we felt very welcome and loved the room given to us, which made the stay extra comfortable. Equally the breakfast was just perfect for us as a family to enjoy and start the day! Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal, allowing you to walk to most places such as the restaurants, the shopping street, the harbour, the beach, etc. We will definitely be back and look for the same room to book!

Boutique Hotel in historical former royal post office Holsted. Close to Resort Legoland - Billund Airport - Westcoast. Freeway E20 - exit Holsted 70 - downtown. Enjoy our timetravel restaurant "Det Bla Tog" - le train bleu. Around the square in Holsted you will stay in Guldsmedie Johansens Palæ, Luftfartshuset, Kirk Boghandel and Poststaldene. Storytelling. Our rooms have names based on stories from our family, local known people.
A very nice small hotel in a very dull place. This hotel is the only place to be in Holsted. A hotel with character. Service was perfect, very nice breakfast. The room we had was a small suite with design fitted for an airplane pilot. Good to have a small kitchen with micro-own and refrigerator. We also had a balcony we used in the sunset. Wifi worked ok, but my 4g was in fact better. The breakfast was served in a large garage with design as an airplane garage, very cool. And of course, a real Danish breakfast was available. Dinner at the hotel restaurant “Blue Train” in the evening was also very good, except from the beer in the restaurant – it was a bit bitter, but that just my taste. We will be back at some time.

Super good food.a five course gourmet dinner with fish we had never heard of. Friendly staff and very good facilities for my little dag.Plus a fantastic wellness centre nearby. When asked for single beds, my daughter was with me, they changed our little room to the family room, which was larger and had single beds, free of charge. That is service. The staff are all smiling and friendly and make you really feel at home

Hotel Petit is a cozy family owned hotel, located in the center of Skagen and with private parking (at charge). All rooms are newly refurbished in 2007 and 2008 taking inspiration by the sea, the sky and the light of Skagen. The rooms feature a bathroom with shower and color TV with international channels. Free wireless Internet access in the rooms and public areas. The whole hotel is no smoking.
The hotel is nice, the room adequate and very clean, the staff is helpful and the wifi is stable. The breakfast is good, however, taking into consideration the price (at least at peak season), one might expect a little more variety.

Welcome to one of Skagen's newest hotels, which is located right in the center and in the heart of Skagen. Close to Skagen's main sights, Skagen Museum 200 meters, Michael and Anne Ancher's house approx. 500 meters and close to Skagen's best bathing beach, Sønderstrand with the popular Vippefyr and a short distance to "Grenen" where the two oceans: Skagerrak and Kattegat meet with incredible beauty. Skagen Hotel offers great and stylish rooms aswell as a lovely new restaurant with local seafood and many other great dishes. We look forward to welcoming you at Skagen Hotel!
The sandwich buffet was varied and good with lots of different sandwiches. This was obviously a popular choice. Why didn’t anyone ask for our corona passport when we entered the restaurant? Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.

The location is excellent, on the main street of Nordby. Very cosy, very clean, and extremely friendly hosts. Difficult to top this. Unfortunately my stay was too short. But I will be back with the wife. 'Stay by Stage' is a no-brainer. As is Samsø. A wonderful island in the middle between Jylland and Sjælland.

This is a family hotel, run by mother and daughter who do everything; reception, restaurant, cooking, etc, etc. Guests that are used to the bigger and more business like hotels might not feel at home. But we did, indeed. Rooms are small and somehow old fashioned but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is rather basic but a very good experience. Home cooking - that Danes really know how to do. Wifi was fine but no TV in the room (not missed by us) Negative, perhaps, is the location which is some KM from Skagen centre. There is a train 200m away that runs every 30 minutes (somewhat erratic schedule) and takes only a few minutes to town. We are used to bigger hotels but very much enjoyed this family operation and thank mother and daughter who cared very well for their guests.

I like historic hotels, but the price must reflect what you get. I stayed in the Admiral Building, and it was underwhelming to say the least. Worn out, bad beds, very run down bathroom etc. I payed DKK 2.095,- for one night in a double room. Half the price would have been more suitable for this room and the breakfast. I'm never returning.

This ancient and homely pub/restaurant is perfectly situated slap bang in the middle of town, right next to where the town crier starts his round. The staff was very friendly and informative. It's on the corner of the Cathedral Square. Just have some wine and watch the world go by!
