We hired almost the whole hotel for our wedding reception and accommodation for our family. Emily project managed the whole event with help from her sister Kate. They were exceptional and with their attention to detail produced the end product we had envisioned. All 11 rooms were available for early check in. All were clean, comfortable and additional areas were made available for makeup and hair which was of great help. The staff did an excellent job of decorating the main hall and helped organise parking. Food for the reception was of a high standard, generous in terms of portion size and hot. The Yorkshire puddings stuffed with roast beef and gravy were to die for! We opted for a free bar which meant the bar was extremely busy all evening and the staff coped admirably. The staff at this hotel really care and made our day truly special. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is old haunted full of character, unfair to call it tired.

Well organized with regards emails sent regarding confirmation of booking and upon replying details about the facilities offered opening and check in times and the parking on offer nearby. Great friendly welcome on booking in and being shown to the room. A well cared for and loved building. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Food well cooked and nicely presented offering great value for money. Well organized and friendly service at breakfast time from both Carole and Michelle. Thankyou to Brett Ben and the team for a great stay. We would stay here again if in the area as we were visiting Harry Potter World but would definately recommend to anyone looking to saty here.

We are a modern Public House - a restaurant, pub and somewhere to stay set on the edge of Harpenden Common and minutes from the bustling high street. We serve Modern British food, hearty bar snacks and interesting local ales, quality wine and exciting cocktails. We offer a warm welcome whether you are coming for lunch, dinner, just a drink or to stay the night.
We booked Silver Cup for an important family celebration several months ago and paid 50% up front. Received a call from Silver Cup just over 2 weeks before the event saying they had double booked us and were cancelling our booking. I’m sure it was a genuine mistake, but we now have family travelling from several hours away and nowhere to eat. Really disappointed.

No two bedrooms are alike at Banyers House. Each of our guest rooms is a delight - cosy and idiosyncratic with ancient beams, flashes of exposed brickwork and rich wallpapers created by British designers.
Booked for somewhere to stay for LG @ Knebworth. Due to my own staggering incompetence the reservation was cancelled. Dawn was class in helping us secure an alternative. Without her I'd be on the streets with less friends than I have now.

After major refurbishment by the new management it now has all modern facilities, including free wireless broadband and internet access. We are a three generation family of 6 and we stayed in four rooms for one and two nights for a wedding at Minster Court. The rooms are identical all with double beds and very quiet. My elderly mother and I took two rooms for an extra night and the rest of the family arrived on the Saturday. Mum and I ate a supper and two breakfasts. The ingredients and cooking were excellent. We had gin and tonics...generous and well mixed. The staff were helpful and considerate. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard. Thank you Coach House Hotel!
