Big room(chamber) with privative Jacuzzi and terrace in a park 6 hectares with giant sequoia and mineral spring. Hotel thermal completely renovated.
The food was on point, the scenery was awesome, the room was comfortable but it would have been much better with some company :) If you want to see a cool place in France off the beaten path and away from the more congested tourist areas, check this place out. Also, it has a really interesting history!

We had a lovely stay at La Combe Fleurie. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, and the common areas are warm and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were great and we enjoyed the interaction with other guests and with Laura and Julien. The grounds and the local area are beautiful, with lovely views from our room, and in particular, from the dining room. Our only regret is not staying longer. It is great value for money. The place has a lovely homely feel about it, and we highly recommend it.

Bad customer service. Due to the fact that one of the guests is in the icu for covid we had to cancel our reservation. We already paid 3000 and more euros and the person on the phone (apperently a manager) didnt even let us talk, he was only repeating that we didnt comunicate anything before hand, thing that we did via booking. Apart from the economical loss and and the lack of empathy from the personal, we had to feel sorry for the hotel because they were not able to rent out the apartment even though it was already fully paid. Shame on you

In the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, next to town of Embrun, overlooking Lake Serre-Poncon, a medieval castle offers nine charming guestrooms and suites. Your hosts, Sharon, originally from Boston and Jacques, welcome your seminars, conferences, cultural events, receptions and also organize cooking classes, concerts and guided tours in a magnificent setting in the Southern French Alps.
Stayed here for two nights in the Louis XVI room and as the name suggests the room is fit for royalty. This place is carefully renovated and all the rooms and the garden has a personal touch. You can really see there is a lot of effort behind all the beautiful decorations both inside and outside the castle. We have already booked another stay here on our way back.

Very friendly owners who are so welcoming. The hotel is boutique style and is very clean, with modern rooms. We had a large, comfortable room with windows that we could open to enjoy the breeze. Serres is a tiny village, which is cute, close to Sisteron and Gap. The hotel seemed really popular with hikers and bikers. While small, Serres has some nice restaurants—traditional French ones but also Creole, Chinese.
