Historic Center ,Cabañas Hospice San Juan Market..etc,, restaurants very close..food and drink close by too...the room was very clean and neat.. a little noise outside ,but..didn't stop me for sleep good staff was very helpful..ah and inexpensive thanks I will be back soon !

Great little Hotel near the Expo/Conference Center

I like the hotel because it feels like a local experience, without any questions about cleanliness etc. it is a beautiful little hotel with fair prices. My flight was delayed by one day, and they did not charge me for the day I missed, which I much appreciated. The breakfast is very ample, with a quality of coffee that far surpasses upscale American hotel chains. The lobby is a good place to work, and the staff especially Sarai were very helpful to me. They all can communicate in either Spanish or English. The only thing I don’t like is that there are no good places to walk nearby,, but this is true of much of Guadalajara. This is known by locales to be a safer area than downtown, but check with the staff as to where and when you should walk, especially at night.

Had to insert door key into wall slot. Everything lights up. Remove key and dark. Never saw that before. Thank you

Excellent bilingual service, continental breakfast, the best mattresses and linens on its type, maximum pressure showers with hot water 24/7. Reviewed By TAGProductionsWe are very careful people when we travel. We don't flash jewelry or fancy anything. Yet we managed to get robbed in broad daylight by two thugs on a motorcycle. BE WARNED! The crime in this area is awful and getting worse all the time. This hotel really has a responsibility in warning guests on just how bad the area is and how to protect themselves. Instead they're just happy to take your money and act like Guadalajara centro is la-la land. If you must visit the polluted, crime-ridden city of Guadalajara, atleast stay in a better area.

It had 4 different maintenance issues, but the worst one was that the bowl of the sink actually fell out and crashed on the floor before dawn, awakening me from a sound sleep. Obviously, I could not even wash my hands or brush my teeth in that room. When I showed a picture of the sink on the floor of the bathroom to the front desk employee, she simply said she would report the issue to maintenance. When I asked to speak with the general manager, she said he was not available. For a week, I called the hotel and left messages for the manager. My calls were never returned. Although I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, this level of carelessness in maintenance and lack of assuming responsability for inadequate service is unacceptable!

Not all that it's cracked up to be
Reviewed By Denis TExcept for the sewer gas smell that emits from the shower drains, this place seems exceptionally clean. We stayed in two different rooms, and both had the sewer gas problem. We finally kept the bathroom door closed at all times to overcome it. Also the staff at this place is very friendly and helpful. But ... ·don't stay here if you like a hot shower. I don't care how many stars a hotel has, guests should never have to phone the front desk to beg for hot water. Apparently this hotel turns it off and on at will. We had to request hot water in the evening, and early in the morning we were again forced to ask for a hot shower. That's just not acceptable. You also should look elsewhere if you cannot sleep through a cacophony of dogs barking and roosters crowing. The dogs bark from 2am until 7am. The chickens start up at around 5am. The WIFI in this establishment is very poor. We usually just turned our devices off and gave up. Early in the morning it wasn't so bad. Finally, we will be much more careful in the future about a "great" price that is subject to unstated hotel taxes and a mandatory tip. Those two things made our room cost almost double the sticker price that attracted us.

Inexpensive, but you'll pay for it in the experience

We were looking forward to having breakfast at the hotel during our stay, as it was included in our booking fee. The coffee tasted horrible, the food was bland, you had to order ahead of time for it to be delivered to your room- we called more than 30 minutes in advance and it got delivered an hour later, we had breakfast elsewhere. The shower door came off its hinge and almost hurt one of us. We alerted hotel staff as we headed out for the day; when we came back the door was still not fixed. The hotel is located near many bars and a club, which is great if that's where you will be, but if you're not then don't expect much sleep. Lastly, we found a cockroach in the room. We ended up extending our trip so we had to decide if we wanted to continue with our stay at Six Hotel, or go to another. We spoke to a manager and discussed the concerns like food, unhinged door and cockroach and how it was not addressed, he simply said "Sorry you had to experience this" without offering any solutions to prevent this from occurring again. We continued our trip at another hotel.

A little expensive for what it is. No restaurant available but 2 vendor machines inside facilities and free coffee all day long. Independent entrance. All i have to say is that I liked it. 4 nights stay.
