From the courtyard you have also access to the balcony covered by centenary roses and to the ancient part of guesthouse with its rooms and dining facilities as the spacious living room with its chimney. The terrace on the roof gives you another place encircled with the hundred-year-old ancient wisteria to rest. We reserved at the last minute and we discovered one of the most amazing place of our trip. Helmut is a really warm and nice host and an incredible chef. He could be without doubt a Michelin star chef. We had a super fine dinner with my wife and Helmut adjusted it to the fact that she is pregnant. The house is warm and welcoming. the room has a very big toilet and it seems to be in an artist atelier. Hopefully we will be back.

In a typical village of provence, La Maison du Passage is a b &b guesthouse with five bedrooms finely decorated. completely renovated, this building from the 13th century is a great comfort with terraces garden, sauna, pool, spa, free of charge. rooms have large king beds, hd tv , wifi, minibar and safe. Diner is served every day. La Maison du Passage received the Tripadvisor Award for Best BnB in France and represents France in the Europeans ranking. BnB adults only.
Everything about La Maison du Passage whispers luxury. There is quality to be found in every tiny quarter. It is beautifully designed and exquisitely tasteful but more than that, it works! Everything has been thought of so as a guest, you can totally relax and concentrate on your holiday! We stayed in the Paradis Perdu room which has a private terrace with jacuzzi. It was lovely to be able to chill out with a bottle of rosé from the mini-bar and feel totally calm. The rest of the room was perfect too. Great lighting, aircon that works, fabulous bedding and a double rainfall shower which I totally loved. There was even a shoe horn which delighted my partner! François and Hervé looked after us well and we had delicious breakfasts on the terrace as well as an evening meal in the dining room one night. We tried some local dishes which we really enjoyed. We also took some trips out to Pont du Gard and Uzes which is a really charming town. The bamboo gardens in Anduze are also worth a visit. There are plenty of local medieval villages too if you don’t want to go far. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay very much and to be honest, it was truly difficult to leave after just two nights. Thank you for having us!

Bien Loin d'Ici is the place for the two of you to elope from it all, to enjoy a special, luxurious quiet and delightful moment. In this guesthouse conceived by designers, you will appreciate the cosiness of a 30m2 (323 sq. feet) lodge with a private deck offering private spa and sauna/hammam and an open outlook on the garden and the swimming pool. You will take pleasure in the peacefulness of the scrubland countryside, far away from the city turmoil and yet only 10 minutes away from Nîmes historical city centre and from the TGV train station. On site, you will be able to enjoy your own private spa and sauna, a swim in our 20-meter long overflow pool and a cocktail in the shade of the old-stone pool-house, the "Cabanon". In the morning, a freshly prepared continental breakfast will be served on your deck at your convenience. You can also leave your car behind and go for a ride with our complimentary bicycles: The city of Nîmes, "Little Roma", and its unique Roman buildings is a must-see, only 5 km away. If you'd rather stay uphill you can ride through the pristine "garrigue" (Mediterranean scrubland) surrounding the area. If you feel like going out for a whole day, our guest house is surrounded by major tourist spots such as the Pont du Gard (a huge and fully standing Roman aqueduct), the Camargue (a marshland nature reserve by the sea), R. L. Stevenson's Cévennes mountains, the medieval cities of Uzès and Baux de Provence, Van Gogh's Arles (also a major Roman landmark) and the papal city of Avignon. At the end of the day, you'll be glad to find yourself in your cocoon, in the middle of nature.
We spent 4 of the most romantic nights here in June and to say that it far exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Manuel could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the Volupté eco-lodge which was SO comfortable, the sheets are so soft and the pre-made playlists on the ipad really help with the ambiance! We had a jacuzzi and sauna on our terrace which was right beside the glorious pool. On our first night Manuel organised for a local Chef to come and prepare dinner on our terrace, which was a godsend as we were tired on arrival. The breakfast's each day were delicious, especially the mango jam. Nimes is only a 10 minute drive and offers a wide range of wonderful restaurants and shops. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to return.

An authentic and charming boutique guesthouse with kindly hosts to welcome you! A prestigious and unique place, full of history, perfect for a pleasurable visit to Provence.
Emma and Paul were wonderful and attentive hosts! The bedroom, hotel interior and surroundings are impeccably kept and everything works. We throughly enjoyed the full buffet breakfast on the terrace and swimming pool. A tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whenever we are in the area again we will be back and for more than only one day.

The atmosphere of the B&B is lovely, it's very well decorated with a special attention to details. For sure it doesn't look like any other B&B! The location is great because you are in the centre of Aigues Mortes so everything is at walking distance! The breakfast was very nice with croissant and pain au chocolat and home made dessert! We got also very well advised for where to go for dinner! So can't recommend it enough! Only one thing to say if you have difficulty to walk or for elderly people: they don't have elevator. Apart from this, it felt like being at home!

Wanting to visit the Garde du pont, we booked this hotel through Wonderbox. The scenery to it was breathtaking, the hotel almost unnoticable from the outside but once you dared to walk through its old gate, a colorful, welcoming and charming getaway emerged. The staff was very friendly and helpful, trying their best to speak English. Our room was on the groundfloor, spacious and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and small, especially the showerstall. Our package included n evening dinner which we were able to decide where to enjoy it. On our terrasse or next to the pool or on a secluded terrasse covered with wild grapevines or in the dinning area. The dinner was delicious, the wine smooth and the atmosphere to die for. We really enjoyed our stay.

at the foot of a hill, 6km from anduze and 3km from the bambouseraie, the contemporary-style Thym & Chocolat guest house blends in perfectly with nature. On 4 hectares of land, it offers a typical landscape of the cevennes. Here, we set up two charming guest rooms, with a separate entrance and a vast private terrace.
We had a wonderful week at Thym & Chocolat. It is an oasis of peace, a very nice room with a great terrace with a beautiful view. You really feel at home here. Patrice and Caroline give you a warm feeling and are very hospitable. They really make an effort for breakfast with homemade products. In addition, they give advice about fine restaurants in the area (Caroline even makes a reservation for you if you want), when it rained our things were in the house when we got home so that they stayed dry and ... not to forget, we could enjoy your guitar playing, Patrice. Thank you for giving us this wonderful holiday feeling in the Cevennes. This place is also a good base for trips in the area

Not at all happy with our stay here, but I do believe that it can be improved with constructive criticism. Firstly the proprietors were kind and helpful, but new to the place, and so there is plenty they can work on. The bed and pillow was very comfortable, although the bedding was not suitable (a faux fur blanket and a top sheet, a light duvet would be better). The room was very hot. They provided a fan, which was a nice addition, but didn't do a huge amount to cool the room. In the dead of summer the heat would be unbearable. It wasn't a quiet location, but it was adequate. The building feels like it needs a good bit of maintenance and improvement. It feels tired and a bit rickety. There are no extractors in the bathrooms/showers, no soap provided (just a couple of sachets of shampoo) no bath mat either. It felt mostly clean but not spotless. There were definitely areas that needed more attention. The WiFi didn't work on the upper floor, it was too poor a signal. Breakfast was pleasant but not a lot for the money, although the French toast was beautiful. My parents had issues with the bathroom in their room, it wouldn't flush at all. Generally not a comfortable stay and really far too expensive for such poor quality. The owners were lovely though, and I wish them well for the future.
