Basic good value
Reviewed By BursledonWe stayed at Faaborg Byferie twice this year when visiting family. It is in a superb central location by the market square with shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are large and comfortable, if a little dated, and the basic kitchen enables guests to make breakfast and simple meals. Our room was at the front of the building and we were woken up by the rubbish collection early in the mornings - this was the only disadvantage. Parking in the yard at the back is limited and the access is extremely narrow, so care is needed. Overall, unusual accommodation and good value.

Memorable stays - tasteful dining experiences - central and idyllic location. Brobyværk Kro is in the heart of Funen, where the road between Odense and Faaborg crosses Odense River. This place has been royally privileged since 1732. The idyllic Inn, with the river in the backyard is a perfect starting point to experience all of Funen ; nature, city life, the sea and lots of attraction. Brobyværk Kro has old traditions to provide a good bed and serve a nice meal. The place is authentic but with modern ideas and visions, with present and informal hosts. The inn's 17 rooms are all renovated in 2021 and equipped with bathroom and toilet, TV, internet, wardrobe, refrigerator, coffee machine and desk. Free parking is available.
Very nice country hotel
Reviewed By P4972PNannemariebVery good service and nice and helpful staff. We had a lovely room overlooking Odense Å. Nice and clean. We saw cows, ducks and swans from our window, very idyllic. We stayed there for 2 nights and had very good breakfast. The dinner was absolutely top We are coming back.

Beware the shared bathroom experience!
Reviewed By IanJHillOK enough place, but .... My wife and I normally have a strict "no shared bathrooms" policy when we travel. We relaxed it on this occasion because we booked late and couldn't find anything else - we hoped there would be not many sharing and it would be easily accessible. No luck on either count. There were four rooms sharing one bathroom - and it was on another floor! Thank God for the creaky staircase which told you when someone was entering or leaving the bathroom - even in the middle of the night. And the shower and toilet were in the same room, so if any one of the people in those four rooms was having a shower, the toilet was unusable. Credit where it's due - great shower with nice hot water and very good pressure. Unimaginative breakfast. Not sure I'd even call this a B&B. It's more of a reception centre with rooms to rent. All things considered, I think this should have been less expensive.

Reviewed By anderso648A small and very cosy hotel, perfectly located close to the harbour. Free parking across the road. Our room was small but nice, with recently refurbished interior. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

Lovely light, airy rooms, own entrance, good beds. Kitchenette and washing facilities. Free internet! Sunny atrium with outdoor grill and fireplace and a beautiful garden. In the town of Ringe there’s a golf course, public swimming pool, boules alley, mini golf, cinema and nice restaurants and cafés.

Reviewed By Peter SBesøgte dette BnB i forbindelse med et svømmestævne, da der ikke er et hotel i byen. Dette er et privat hjem, hvor man i nogle gamle værksteds bygninger har lavet ca. 8 værelser, som familien så lejer ud. Havde et dejligt stort dobbeltværelse til en rimelig pris. Og sengen var ok, og der var ro til en god nats søvn. Morgen mad blev serveret på en bakke, som værts part kom med på værelset - og der var alt det der skulle være. Lidt sjov ide, med at man skulle have toiletrullen med fra værelset til toilettet. Men det skyldes nok nogle af fastboerne. Men selv om der var toilet og bad på gangen, så funktionerede det ok. Nu var dette i de kolde måneder. Men kunne godt forestille mig at gårdhaven kunne være hyggelig om sommeren. OK billig sted hvis man skal have en overnatning omkring ringe.
