Avoid. No hygiene sticker . Room was freezing. Had to repair the TV aerial cable myself . Empty drinks bottle behind furniture. Mould in the bathroom. Key code for entrance was faulty. I will give you the scaffolding as maintenance has to be done , but as you can see from the photos the front entrance was an absolute disgrace.

Comfortable room, nothing special but ensuite, with tea/coffee, tv and pretty good bed. Very happy with this for the price. Good location very close to the sea front, but quiet, it was nice to be able to open windows and still get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, although I definitely need a few days off after 5 full English. WiFi worked just fine in the restaurant, but didn't reach my room on the first floor, this wasn't great as several days of my stay was work related. If this could have been sorted it would have received the extra point. I did raise the issue with reception. This is not a luxurious hotel, but is comfortable and well priced.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Celine was very helpful and friendly. Situated in a side street just off the promenade, so front rooms have a side sea view. Rooms are clean, a good size and tea/coffee making and biscuits available. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Bathroom small but adequate and toiletries provided. Lots of choice for breakfast. Accommodating for early check-out. Free parking is available in Empress Drive and surrounding streets, but rather busy. Would return.

A nice, clean hotel situated at the far end of Douglas Bay. The rooms are quite small with limited storage room. but the beds were comfortable and the shower was both hot and plentiful. The breakfast was also nicely cooked and filling setting you up perfectly for your day ahead.

I have just finished a 4 night stay here while exploring The Isle Of Man. This place was just perfect, the hotel itself was lovely, really cosy and homely. In a perfect location and a perfect base which is very easy to get all over the island from. A big mention to Shirley and the staff as they were the nicest, friendliest people from the moment I walked in they couldn't do enough to help make your stay perfect. Always willing to help and always smiling. So thankyou. If you are looking to visit the island then please look no further Its the perfect place. Thankyou again. Gaz

First stay and rebooked for next year so that says it all really. However, I will elaborate. We were welcomed by Kevin who explained all. The entrance is fabulously decorated. Room 2 was small, twin bed with ensuite. Nicely decorated and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities. Hand wash and shower gel provided. The breakfast room is really lovely. Breakfast menu is extensive. It has something for everyone and there's fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal too. All food presented beautifully and was delicious and plentiful. A cheery welcome every morning from Victoria Wood (Gillian) gets you in the right mood for the day ahead. All the staff are lovely and I got the impression that nothing is too much trouble.. Location is just off the prom and a 5 min walk into town. I would most certainly recommend this B&B. My advice (for what it's worth) is to take ear plugs. Not all guests were considerate of others ...though I suppose whispering at silly o'clock in the morning with a belly full of ale after a session in Jacks Bar during TT fortnight, might be a bit too much to expect ??? See you next year ?️?️?️
