This hotel is in a decent location (nothing lovely - it's right next to an expressway). The rooms are a little worn, but ok. We are not fussy and in these basic respects the Belken did the job for us. That said, our overall experience was not good. If there is any chance you need anything from your hotel other than the bare minimum then I would steer well clear of this threadbare option. I arrived after a 12-hour flight from Europe (i.e. jetlagged). Unfortunately (and unexpectedly) I had a fractured bone in my face following a fall on frozen ground a few days before (something which was only too obvious - much bruising, etc.). My girlfriend who booked the hotel had confirmed that I could check-in upon arrive (she has an email with this). However when I arrived they would not let me check in. The staff were unhelpful. I had arrived at 1pm, and their checkin time was 3pm. They wanted copies of my passport etc at 1pm, they just did not want to let me get some rest. There was no "we'll see if a room is ready" or any such thing. They had their rule and that was what was important (as the checkout time is 11am there was almost certainly at least one room available). We faced a similar experience when we asked them to keep a piece of luggage for us while we travelled around Japan. They would not do it. We had stayed 3 nights, but that did not matter. Again, they had their rules. Luckily we had a second hotel booked for some of our time in Tokyo (which turned out to be better in almost every way - and cheaper). The other hotel was only too happy to keep our bag (and even kindly put it in our room prior to our arrival, without our having to ask). We had an extra trip to drop the bag over, but it was actually worth it just to end our association with the unfortunate Belken Hotel at the first opportunity. You never quite know what you will need from a hotel. If you need anything beyond the absolute minimum, this hotel may frustrate you rather a lot (as it did us). The Belken was a very poor start to our time in Japan. Luckily may of the other hotels we stayed in were fantastic (so it was just a case of one bad egg).

Hotel Avest Ginza Kyobashi is a 1-minute walk from Toei Asakusa Line "Takaru-cho Station", a 3-minute walk from the Tokyo Metro "Kyobashi Station" and a 15-minute walk from JR Yamanote line "Tokyo Station". Since you can come by one train without transfer from Haneda Airport, guests coming from afar are also easy to access.
We booked this hotel on a well known website because it was our last night in Japan and we wanted to be close to the Central Station for our trip to Narita Airport the following day. Everything was fine with the exception of the size of the bedroom, which was small for a couple with two large suitcases. I regret not paying more attention during gymnastics class many years ago. As usual, of course, everything else was of high quality, which is just as well, as this was the most expensive nightly rate we paid on our trip. Don't bother booking the breakfast -walk around to the station and avail yourself of the many choices there. Not bad, but ask for a twin room- you might be luckier.

Yes, the rooms are small. But my room had everything I needed and was super clean and well designed. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom modern. Flat screen TV, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee/tea - the amenities were fantastic. I found the staff members polite and helpful. The hotel has coin laundry washing machines/dryers, as well as vending machines and a small business area. From Narita, I took the NEX to Tokyo station - the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from there. Though if you're not familiar with Tokyo then I'd suggest getting a taxi from the station instead. The hotel is surrounded by places to eat/drink, and just footsteps away from Tsukiji station too. I would definitely consider staying there again when I return to Tokyo.

It is good for business trip solo, the room size is not that large but it already good for a single man to stay in, all facilities are decent and the staffs are young, energetic and very helpful. It located 5 mins walk to the railway station, if you are in business trip and not much luggage, it will be perfect.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of our 4 week stay in Japan and we are looking forward to returning here for another few nights before we leave. The location is excellent - a very short walk to a well connected station, beautiful little streets all around and lots of good food options. The ryokan combines the traditional (tatami mats, futons, robes) with modern amenities (super clean shared showers and bathroom) and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the tasty and beautifully presented breakfasts! We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends as a must stay in Tokyo. Thank you for a great stay!
