We loved our one night stay in this beautiful small hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. The room was cute, well furnished and comfortable with a view of the square below. Breakfast was good with friendly and helpful staff. Central location and a fantastic village with great waking on the doorstep.

Nice hostal with amazing views from our bedroom, which had a balcony and shutters to block out the light at night. Our room was at the front, and I'm glad we requested mountain views when booking as it was lovely. Comfortable beds (twins, pushed together) with plenty of blankets, although the radiators were on a lot of the time so they were not needed. Bathroom with very good lighting over the mirror, which you don't often get. Easy walk to the shops, bars and restaurants and free parking in nearby car parks and on street. Owner was friendly. My only disappointment was no tea & coffee facilities in the room, so we went out and bought a kettle, mugs etc. I'd definitely stay here again if we return to Capileira.

Never been treated so bad i a place as by the staff in this place. Perhaps the man/owner? had a bad day? But I have never been treated so bad as in this place. Horrible, no sense of service. I will certainly never ever visit this place again.

Hotel Rural Poqueira II is a 2 Star Hotel Bed. It has an excellent location near the town hall and the entrance of the village, next to the shopping area and just across the Meson Poqueira.Respects the local architecture and all rooms are fully equipped to enjoy your stay with us and enjoy excellent views of the surroundings.
Lovely rooms, well equipped and tasteful decor. Blackout blinds on the windows. My room was equipped for disabled access, which meant there was a great walk in shower and lots of space- no whiff of institution at all! Breakfast was great- good quality, varied selection. Only problem was that staff were sleeping out at night, at the time we visited, and needed to turn something on to activate the hot water, which was a bit late at 8.15 in the morning, when you have a long day's walk in front of you. Nevertheless, planning to stay again.

We enjoyed our last five days in Spain staying at this warm and cozy place. We stayed with our two daughters. The location outside the village makes it very easy to move around. The views during the breakfast were stunning. We will try come back, sure.

And, as an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. Travelers looking to enjoy some tapas can head to El Corral del Castano or Restaurante La Pizzeria. The staff at El Cascapeñas looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
This was a family hotel with simple, elegant public rooms upstairs - there is no downstairs salon as it is a restaurant. The rooms were kept very clean and the bed was nice and firm. There is Wi-Fi. The hotel's own description on here states "there is free parking available to guests" - it's in a pair of public car parks a walk along the main street - the hotel does not have a car park. Toiletries are provided in the bathroom but they forgot to replenish them for the last 3 days so it was a good job we brought a little ourselves. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. The room had a television. We had no balcony, which was a shame. Tip: if you need to contact the hotel before your stay, there was no email access offered to us; we were told to ring them up to let them know our arrival time - there is no reception desk. You will need to speak Spanish fairly confidently when you call.

El lugar esta situado en un entorno idilico. Los dueños de la Casa son encantadores, pero el restaurante, q regentan otras persoas no esta a la altura del lugar. Lo recomendaria aunque necesita alguna q otra reforma.
