Newly opened hotel in Coron, Palawan where you can relax and feel at home while enjoying the beauty of Coron.
Great hotel and great customer service. My wife and I were here before pandemic and I only had time today to give a review because they deserve it. I'm writing this now because we're back on vacation again and we're bringing our sons so they experience the same thing. We're going to Charms then Balinsasayaw, so watch for that review. We were allowed to experience the Balinsasayaw island for a day and we're planning to stay in the island this time. Food is good. We requested seafood and they provided them and it was very delicious. Everyday we were full. Every request we made were granted and every food we want to eat provided. They arranged our private island hopping and they gave us a great tour guide. Our guide was very attentive and gave us time to enjoy the different islands. He is also a great photographer and made sure that we are always safe. Accommodation is good and our room have amenities. It's on the small side but we're ok because we were a couple. I'll definitely recommend to get 2 rooms if you have teenagers. There is plenty of water and hot water for the shower. Overall great experience and will recommend. We're going back!

AL FARO Palawan, the first cosmio hotel in the Philippines combining nature with functional comfort and artistic design. AL FARO offers you the unique opportunity to discover one of the last frontiers in the Asian Pacific while you are living in a real lighthouse resort.
We very much enjoyed our long weekend at Al Faro last week. Both of our flights to and from Busuanga on Cebu Pacific were on time, and the pick-up and drop-off went very smoothly as well. It's a 30-minute drive and a 5-minute boat ride to get there from the airport, and Al Faro took care of all of the arrangements. Communication with Nenita via email was always prompt and our stay was very enjoyable. You have to climb some steep steps to get up to the resort, but the view from the top is definitely worth it. Their staff kindly carry your luggage for you on arrival and departure. Our villa overlooking the bay was tastefully decorated and we had our own covered terrace with comfortable seating from which we could watch the sun go down every evening. There's no air conditioning in the room, but the fans they provided meant that we didn't miss having it. The restaurant likewise has a pleasant view across the bay, and since it's open air, you get the benefit of a cool breeze too. The waitress service by Amor and her team was very attentive and the dishes they serve are tasty. I particularly liked the fresh fish, squid and boiled potatoes that they repeatedly cooked specially for me due to my dietary restrictions. The pizza was delicious too. There's no beach at the actual resort but they kindly organised a couple of boat trips which included lunch on nearby beaches. We also visited Calauit island, which is home to the descendants of the African animals that the Marcos family imported in the 1970s. One of the giraffes there is even called Al Faro. We'd definitely go back to stay at the resort again as we found it very good value for money. Nenita's husband would be an interesting guy to talk to as well, although sadly we the opportunity didn't really present itself until shortly before we were leaving. Hopefully next time. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

We arrived at the hotel and our names were not in the system. When we have a tour they are not cooperating they want us to contact the travel agent and the tour guide. At first glance it did not look bad then you start to notice details, like the paint peeling from the bottom of the pool, not much chlorine in the pool, plants in old tires for landscaping, with beer bottles lining the walkway. The room we stayed in did not look like the pictures that we were shown at the travel agency. The door was very cheap with no deadbolt lock. There is no room phone if there is an emergency. the windows were glass block, with no view (a prison cell has a better view) the walls had deep cracks in them on both sides of the room, also all of the support pillars on the balcony appeared to be missing due to an earthquake at some point during its life, this could be the reason the walls are cracked in the inside, because of the lack of structural support on the outside of the building. The air conditioning in the room was noisy all night, there were no toiletries except a bar of soap and two bath towels, there was only one sheet on the bed? There is no room safe. There is no refrigerator. The lighting was very dim with only one light switch no night lights, there was not very much pressure in the shower, the floors were dirty. The street at night is very dim and scary if you were to walk back alone at night. It was very hard to get the complimentary breakfast even when ordered the night before, and no coffee ready in the morning. The staff are unfriendly especially the breakfast staff. When we confronted the owner regarding the staff and the hotel she told us to leave. So this tells me she only cares about the money not the quality. The WiFi is very poor everywhere in the premises.

you read it right. We were friends in the room asked for an extra bed cost P1,200 and didn't recieve any receipt. Rooms are dirty, carpet is too smelly, bathroom is ok but not so clean. Out dated hotel, the management needs a total renovation, esp the corridor it looks like I'm at the hallway of hospital. Staffs are ok, but there's this longhaired tan lady that not good for being a receptionist. Better try to find a good desk officer

We visited Coron early this month and I can say that this pension house is better than you pay for. The room we stayed for is big enough for 4 of us (family room) bed is comfortable, bathroom is great. It is also near town you can just hop on a tricycle (10-15 pesos fare) and tell them where you want to go. Oh! They can also arrange your trip for you.

Zuric offers you a good place to stay in your visit to Coron town. It is strategically located at the center of the town, walking distance to the market, restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops. It is the perfect starting point to anywhere in Coron. The rooms are regularly cleaned, the staff are friendly and hospitable. For the guests' convenience, the hotel can arrange island tours and diving.
I had a standard room on top floor. Room is small, bed is good, combined toilet shower works. All is very basic. Price /quality I give it a 4. The location is great. Be aware to take noice stoppers and a sleeping mask with you. Nearby are other hotels and bars that make a little noice.

We've stayed at Gran Vista twice already (May 2009 and June 2012) and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ms. Gigi. She's very warm and accommodating to guests. Her staff members are also very nice. Gran Vista is about 5-10 mins from town and this is the perfect place if you want to be secluded. The rooms are simple and basic but comfortable nonetheless. Linen and sheets are also clean. The resort is very spacious and has a viewing deck overlooking Coron bay (which we love!). There are also mangroves somewhere at the back of the resort and there's a raft that guests can use. The food they serve is okay but is a bit expensive for simple meals (last time we visited, we paid 200/pax per dinner). It also got a bit repetitive towards the end of our stay (I think we had nilagang baka more than twice!) but we weren't able to go to town for dinner because we were already very tired after the island hopping tours. Overall, we loved our stay in Gran Vista. The ambiance is relaxed and laid-back. Ms. Gigi and her family also made sure that we were well taken care of during our stay. Ms. Gigi also arranged everything for us and so it was really an enjoyable trip with no hassle.
