The 1 or 2 bedroom villas are build around the central lobby and bar area and the swimming pool. Well designed villas (design by Dutch architect Piet Boon). Lots of green around the houses. Your car you can best rent at Windhoek: great service and flexibility. Bar has the essentials. Location near good beach clubs and not too far from Kralendijk center

Reviewed By piapia25The location was perfect, quiet, but within walking distance from the center and the beach. The studio was clean and equipped with (almost) everything you need during the stay. The staffs were friendly and helpful. There are also a small pool and Mexican restaurant on site.

Our vision is that we believe and understand that sometimes the little things can make a big difference and we want to make sure that our guests receive relevant extras that enrich, reward and simplify their stay. We have eleven hotel rooms and we distinguish them between Queen-size and King-size beds, all rooms are very modern furnished. All rooms have their own characteristics, which makes each one of them unique. Our rooms are equipped with an air-condition, a fridge with freezer, a kettle, a telephone, big mirror, a flat screen smart TV (with Netflix and WI-FI), a big closet with safe, a desk with chair and high speed internet and you also have access to our ironing equipment. Some of our rooms have a nice sitting area or a beautiful bay view. With this motivated team, we strive to be the creative minds that brings a smile on your face. Reviewed By marU8670VKThe room is as beautiful as on the pictures, at an unbeatable location, it is clean, has the necessary amenities and the price is good for what you get.. It would be perfect, were it not for.... the VERY LOUD music at night.. it's not just the loud music and the off key singing of the visitors but the intense and repetitive vibrating of the bass on the window, bed and floor at 11 pm when you're trying to sleep. Contrary to another traveller's review, I HAD been warned, both from the review as by the check-in clerk that there would be music, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I would imagine that a hotel that has taken so much care in its design would at least have taken the precaution of placing triple or quadruple glass for the windows if they're planning to actually continue receiving guests as well as continue playing music this loud. Pity of an otherwise well pretty and comfy room.

Small and comfortable
Reviewed By pjcharleswe stayed for three nights. It is very small - like 8 rooms. Our room was right at the beach so you cannot ask for a better view! The manager tried very hard to please and was very pleasant. The room was comfortable but small. The AC was GREAT! This hotel is near the airport which means you do get some of the air traffic. However, if you are looking for a smaller and more intimate resort, this is a worthwhile tradeoff.

Possibly the worst hotel I ever visited
Reviewed By 507nannehNo person at the reception, no breakfast at all, curtains that do not close, a shower head that keeps coming down. Yes, the location was alright, not minding motors and cars blasting at the street, which cannot be blamed to the hotel. The mug for coffee had not been washed up. I could not complain or ask for a different room, there was no one at the reception ever.

Reviewed By OlAlbersenWe stayed in room 2 at the Lodge for two nights on our 12 day trip to the island. The rooms were barren and empty, the lights were different colors in the same fixtures, the design was shabby and only the bathrooms were decent. The beds have iron springs and were uncomfortable, the rooms didn’t feel clean even though there supposedly is regular cleaning. The WiFi is only accessible from the common space in the courtyard and is very spotty. The brochure in the room starts off with that water and electricity is expensive on the island so to use both as little as possible. Also the brochure states if you’d like to use the airconditioning 24/7 that is a surcharge of 15$ per day! Furthermore you’re not allowed to flush your toilet paper and need to toss them into a bin which don’t get emptied frequently, this causes the bathrooms to stink. We felt as if we had wasted 3 days of our holiday by staying here. The service and facilities are poor and need to be improved. We did not enjoy our stay here at all and it felt as if we had wasted our money and precious days of our holiday! If you only want the bare minimum give it a chance. If you’re looking for something enjoyable and nice look elsewhere!

Or read my review here: Almost next to the airports landing strip, lies this beautiful hotel and restaurant. The few planes that land here are mostly smaller ones and were no problem for us. I even liked the few bigger ones landing so close. We stayed for 5 days and really loved it here. Besides the airport, the location at the waterfront is perfect; stunning sunsets over the sea and a small spot where you can walk straight into the water. Bring your snorkel-stuff! The tropic fish are right there. The rooms are few but nice, clean and with a nice view; we overlooked the small pool. The beds are fine. Everything you expect is there. Now for the restaurant: the cook Carlos is amazing. The food he prepares is allways very nice; the staff is hard working and pleasant. There is one thing though: it often takes a while to get your order. But it is worthwhile! Just sit back and enjoy the scenery.

Prachtige locatie, ruim appartement
Reviewed By janvd123456Het hotel is gelegen op een prachtige locatie. Binnen 1 minuut lopen ben je op het strand. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en de service was top. Het appartement is ruim opgezet met een eigen keuken, airconditioning en een privé balkon met uitzicht op lac bay. Het zwembad was heerlijk, lekker groot en voorzien van strandbedden. Het hotel zelf heeft geen restaurant, maar Sorobon beach resort wel. Dat is even verderop gelegen en was ook de locatie waar wij konden inchecken. Daar hebben wij genoten van een heerlijk diner met goede service. Ook bevindt er naast het hotel nog een restaurant waar je kan eten. Het is wel aan te raden een auto of scooter te huren.
