According to famed diver Jacques Cousteau, the Great Blue Hole of Belize is one of the most spectacular dive sites on earth. The crystal-clear sapphire waters are home to colorful tropical fish and several species of reef sharks – ideal for brave divers who love to get up close and personal with sea life. On dry ground, diverse rainforests, mangrove swamps, and Mayan ruins are perfect for exploration. The beaches of Belize are sunny and tranquil spots for a day of relaxation.

There are kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing poles and a canoe to use free of charge. The facilities are first rate but what sets Weezie's apart is the full time staff of 12 who are there to make your vacation memorable.
I could stay in the rooms for a month -- good amount of space, full kitchen, tv with netflix, and STRONG AC made it extremely comfortable. We also took the private snorkel tour with John, which is a MUST DO. John was able to point out so many cool wildlife and facts, and was great company for the full-day trip. Just remember to reapply your (reef safe) sunscreen between every dive or you backs and legs are going to regret it :')

We stayed for a few days and had a terrific time. The grounds are very nice and the new cabins were very comfortable. Whoever decided to include bunk beds was inspired and allowed us to avoid the inevitable squabbles among our children when they have to share a bed. The food was very good and had a varied selection. The pool was beautiful and the walk to the beach took about 30 seconds. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.

Minus 1 star for mediocre onsite restaurant. Waitstaffs and open air restaurant vibe were excellent but food was bland and uninteresting. I had a dinner & 3 breakfasts there. I repeated the breakfast meals only because it was included, & I was able to pre-order the day before. Pre-ordering really help since it takes 30-45 minutes to get your food otherwise. We had ordered 3 steak and egg for the 1st breakfast and only the eggs were edible. All 3 steaks were chewy-rubbery and had almost a rancid taste. Needless to say, none of us ate the steaks after the first 2 bites. We stayed with the safer choice of oatmeal and the stuff fry jacks after that. Portions were generous but we wasted food because nothing was especially tasty. Minus the 2nd star because the property did not live up to its expensive rate with direct booking. I was charged $2731 USD for 3 nights & 2 casitas. The rooms were basic and did not look like the website pictures. One safe did not work & the 2nd safe ran out of battery the 2nd day, requiring me to wait in the room while handyman replace the batteries. There were tiny little white bugs around the counter above the mini-refrigerator. I did not put my items on counter space or touching walls to avoid transporting any unwanted passengers. I did not report the buggy issue since bugs are to be expected in a tropical clime and there were only about 5 dozen bugs scurrying about. The water pressure was low and tepid for the outdoor tub and shower. It was not relaxing to soak in a tub of lukewarm water while trying to commune with nature. Thank goodness the indoor shower only has the low pressure issue. Some of the pool loungers are stained & has rips with the stuffing visible. The pool was tiny and the water was cloudy, hopefully from over-chlorination and nothing else. Cleaning staff was awesome & the room was cleaned twice a day. I drove 5 min to the Rumor Resort next door and gave them a bag of 25 articles for washing at 2PM & requested a 6PM pickup. They were glad to do it for $10USD. I did not even enquired at Ka'ana since I had read in a review that the resort charges $3-5 USD per piece. This brings me to my next point. You need a car when staying at Ka'ana otherwise you are at their mercy regarding food and laundry. It is outside of San Ignacio. Luckily, it is very simple to drive in Belize. You only have a handful of highways that are 1 way in each direction, making navigation around the country simple. There are very few cars on the road since gas is about $6.5/G and minimum wage is $1.65/h. There are frequent speed humps so you can't race anywhere.Going above 10mph over the higher speed bumps will launch you with a rather jarring landing. Even driving on unpaved roads to the San Ignacio garden, to meet up with our guide at the ATM, or to the Coxcomb Jaguar Preserve were not problematic in the 4 wheel drive. I think a teen with a learner permit can handle these roads. I am not an adventurous driver & would not attempt to drive in Bangkok or would only reluctantly drive in NYC. Don't expect luxury at Ka'anna. It was a poor choice but Cha Creek was sold out when I booked 1 month in advance. Luckily, my 2 other bookings for San Pedro & Hopkins were less expensive but were 5/5.

Ocean Breeze is a brand new luxury beachfront resort located on the beautiful beaches of Placencia Village, Belize. This boutique style resort located in the heart of the Village is family owned/managed and situated right off the famous sidewalk. Just a few minutes walk from all the great spots in the village, so no need for your own transportation while staying with us!
Our group of 12 boated right up to Ocean Breeze and from the time we hit the sand to catching our ride back to the airport, we had the best time at this quiet and intimate hotel. It’s right on the beach in Placencia with picturesque views, hammocks, lounge chairs and more. The hotel bar, Toucan Jacks, has great lounge spots and the small dunk pool is complete with barside stools where Jalli mixes some excellent cocktails. We felt very taken care of and with 5 kids in our group, that’s no easy task. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helped coordinate in room covid tests for us before we left for the states. The rooms were immaculate with modern amenities, very comfortable beds ocean views. I particularly loved the attention to detail in decor. It’s located in the heart of Placencia near all the shops, vendors and dining. I hope we can return to Placencia soon and if we do, we’ll be booking here again.

I loved the Blue Tang Inn, it was small & quaint. The people that work there are very happy to help you with anything that you need to make your stay more enjoyable. It was very convenient to stores & restaurants. We had a hiccup in traveling there, our 1st flight of the day was cancelled, but Emilse, was very helpful in arranging new flights with Tropic Air for the next day. Lionel & Giovanni (hope I spelled it right) made sure that everything was properly working & clean. They were very entertaining as they caught iguanas. Marlon is very knowledgeable in all things to do with the island. Fanny the manager & Elizabeth made you feel very welcome! All in all everyone was very friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend staying with them. We will definitely stay @ the Blue Tang again!!!

We love our stay and highly recommend. Excellent beachfront property, wonderful staff, good breakfast included, and great location close to restaurants/bars, shopping, and the village. We had a welcome rum punch when we arrived. Our studio is spacious and enjoyed the ocean view. The kitchen has the necessary appliance and we’ll equipped. We had to leave on an early diving excursion so we couldn’t make the scheduled breakfast from 8:30 am - 9:30 am. They provided us with our breakfast which included cinnamon rolls, cheese with toast, and orange juice the night before. So thoughtful and sweet.

We stayed here 3 nights with a party of 11 and it was great! The location is great for going to Tikkal and the ATM caves. They will set you up with great tour guides and arrange for pick-up and drop off. Our tours were great. The accommodation is clean and has such an adventurous appeal. Pool was small but perfect for a dip and relaxing. The restaurant was not open but we ate nearby at some great finds and it was so easy to navigate the town.

Tucked away among tropical fauna and turquoise waters, White Sands Cove Resort sits 2.5 miles north of San Pedro, on the Island of Ambergris Caye. Just off the coast of Belize, our cozy boutique resort is tastefully defined by its unique balance of tranquility and adventure.
My brother booked a surprise vacation for my parent's 50th anniversary. I'm usually the one that's very involved in finding the places to go...but my brother tried to book Captain Morgan's because my parents had been there in 2014 (which was booked) but a guy at Captain Morgan's suggested White Sands Cove, so my brother called them & booked right away. We communicated with Rosie for a few months (probably about 6 months) for all of the arrangements that 3 different families needed/wanted. We arranged the golf carts, the tours, massages, meal plans etc. all in advance of our arrival. Everything worked out perfect & Rosie even schedule the massages in between the activities she had booked for us. Usually we're trying to book everything individually but having Rosie's help was really a key part to us having a relaxing vacation! The resort was really nice, the pool was fun for the kids and there was a view of the ocean, but there were blooms on the whole island from the kelp (?) so you couldn't go into the ocean at our resort. We were a short 30 min drive from Secret Beach & town. There was house keeping every other day, the whole resort was very tidy & well kept. The bar/restaurant onsite was great. The bartenders were always friendly & nice. But the cook, Karen was something else! We had a group of 10 so if we were going to eat a meal together we'd try to submit our orders the night before so we didn't delay the kitchen if anyone else was there. I peaked into the kitchen on the last night & Karen made miracles happen every time we ate together. I think she was the only one cooking & cleaning up the kitchen, but she'd get 10 plates of food out at the same time by herself. AMAZING Karen even went through the extra effort of making a nicely decorate table for my parent's 50th anniversary dinner. It was a great place & I'd defiantly visit White Sands Cove again if we go back to Belize

We stayed here the night before our flight left to go back to the states and it was a great little place! The food was good - just order ahead since it may take a little while because they have a small staff and it is made from scratch. The pool is great and staff is accommodating. My daughter left her her headphones at the hotel when we left for the airport and they drove them to us! We were only there one night and did not have a car to go off property. If you are going to stay longer you would need a vehicle as there is nothing close by the property.
