Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. You'll feel you're traveling through time, whether you're watching popular events such as the colles castelleres (human pyramids) and sardanes dances, or walking narrow, maze-like streets and broader boulevards. Stroll from the Gothic Quarter through Passeig de Gracia, where Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and remnants of the Spanish Golden Age and the Civil War stand side by side with surreal and modernist structures by Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner. Stop at any of the numerous restaurant terraces and enjoy traditional calçots and botifarra sausages, flavor-packed tapas, and fresh seafood. At day's end, treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in one of the many Chirringuitos (beach bars) along the golden beaches embracing the sea.

The Conical Bed & Breakfast Deluxe is a luxury guest house in the best part of the Eixample of Barcelona. Perfect for tourists who want to feel the comfort and freedom site. Located 250 meters from Paseo de Gracia. It offers all the comforts of a 4 star hotel and the calm of a private home.
Location was great and just close enough to the city centre (15min walk) and right around the corner from local restaurants and bars that were for the local community experience and not overly tourist heavy. The hotel team welcomed us and we had two rooms and lot's of treats thrown in courtesy of the team. We've visited Barcelona many times and will definitely come back to this hotel again. Amazing rooms and friendly staff. A great experience and highly recommend. Thank you team Conica

Wander up the Rambla, past street performers and market stalls, to the city's heart of Plaça Catalunya. Alternatively, stroll down to Barcelona's beaches, a short walk away. The Hostal Marenostrum's en suite accommodation is functional and comfortable, including air conditioning, heating and soundproofing, for a restful stay. All bathrooms include a hairdryer. You can also make the most of 24-hour reception to explore the nightlife. Ciutat Vella is a great choice for travellers interested in shopping, tapas and food.
Many thanks for the excellent service. Hostel of excellent quality in the heart of Barcelona. Rooms tiny but clean and functional. Everything is fulfilled according to the agreement. On my next visit, I will be happy to return. Thank you.

This was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. This was our first visit to Barcelona and I stumbled upon this hotel while searching Booking.com and fell in love from the pictures. I kept my expectations lower because sometimes the pictures are way better than the real-life experience, but this time the pictures really did the place justice. The hotel is conveniently located near lots of restaurants, the metro and more. The hotel is beautifully decorated and styled. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing. The room had A/C. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap and more. The hotel provided bottles of water in the room which was a nice way to rehydrate after walking around the city. Breakfast was delicious! They offered a variety of sweet and savory items. The coffee was tasty and the employees assisting with breakfast service were great. I wanted to take the hotel furnishings with me and decorate my own home with them. If I visit Barcelona again, I will definitely stay here again.

Let’s be very clear that this is NOT a hotel but a hostel. Do not be deceived by some reviews that this is a hotel. The location is convenient and it is just about 150 meters from the Liceu Station. It’s right in the middle of the pickpocket haven of La Ramblas. It’s located in a lane, Sant Pau. While the location is convenient, I am not a fan of walking past a lane where homeless people stay. There is always a urine stench in the morning! You also need to be very careful about your belongings as pickpockets are known to actively operate in the area. I was approached by strangers every night if I wanted a ‘smoke’. On 2 occasions, I was approached by hookers who looked like they were high on the crack. The single room is absolutely tiny and you can’t swing a cat it in. I think it’s about 5.5 ft by 9 ft excluding the toilet. I was given a room right in front of the elevator and the noise from people talking when the returned in the night was unpleasant. The walls are very thin and did little for soundproofing. I could hear toilet flushing and conversations clearly when people talked along the corridor. Housekeeping was also an issue. Bed sheets were not replaced for my 10 day stay! The towels were replaced once in 2-3 days. The only amenity is a tiny bottle of shower and miniature hand soap which were not replaced for the entire 10 days. I had to buy my own shower gel. There is also no water provided, no kettle and fridge in the room. The staff were friendly though. Overall, if you are ok with a tiny room, a lack of amenities and poor sounding proofing, then you should be fine with this hostel.

Hostal Fernando has a very good position, close to the metro Liceu, the guys at the reception are very smiling and helpful, that’s all. We stayed 3 nights and had an amount of small problems that, added one to the other, really made it uncomfortable. -Room was extremely small -Bathroom hasn’t been cleaned properly when we arrived, there was hair on the floor and a persistent smell coming from the shower -Hairdryer did not work the first night, they sent me in another room for using a working one, promising that they would have fixed it the day after. Second day it worked for a few minutes and then stopped. After 20 minutes they gave me a hairdryer while my 3 yrs old child was waiting with hair fully wet. -They didn’t change all the towels I left on the floor, for example one day they didn’t give me a new rug for the shower -Breakfast is poor Considering it costed 325 € for three nights, I found it a bit expensive, for what it offers, overall would not recommend it

Welcome to Vasanta, your ticket to an iconic Barcelona experience. This cheerful yellow exterior sits on an octagonal block within the visionary Eixample neighborhood grid. Each space inside features high ceilings and plenty of natural light from the tall windows. Outside, the city is ripe for exploration. Tree-lined shopping through Rambla de Catalunya. Vibrant glass and mosaic murals at Casa Batlló. Fresh seafood from Passeig de Gràcia. All these spots and more are just a short walk away. Say “bon dia” to another sunny Mediterranean stay at Vasanta.
Enjoyed every bit of it, was a short stay but definitely worth it. Perfect location, comfy bed and Smooth check-in/ out process. I was offered to store my luggage at Sonder Casa Luz which is just a few blocks away, where I also got the opportunity to meet with the lovely hospitality Team (Augusto & Marina) who were very helpful.

Good value for money The room was bigger than I expected, very clean, the maid came in every day and I had no complaints! I read some comments that there is noise from the road. Do not worry about this, just ask for a quiet room and they will put you in the back of the hotel, where there is no noise. I was at 803 and it was very quiet! I did not have breakfast because it was so expensive! The hotel is very central, next to the most central Metro station. Right next door there is an amazing steakhouse that you should definitely eat there. The only negative is that the room could have a kettle and two glasses.

Located 350 metres from Barcelona's Passeig de Gracia Avenue, Casa Mathilda is a small hotel set in a elegant historic building. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and stylish decor. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV with international channels, a safe and wardrobe. The private bathroom includes a bathrobe and free toiletries. Some rooms also offer city views. Tea, coffee and int
Lovely hotel with a great location. The elevator in the building looks original to the building and takes you back in time. The hotel is located on 2 very useful metro lines so getting anywhere was easy. Our room set up was thoughtful: large shower, sink located in the room, outside the bathroom, desk and bed area were separated by a curtain. The staff were also really nice.

Hostal Lesseps is a nice hostel located in the Barrio de Gracia in Barcelona city center. Our hostel has been recently renovated. An ideal place to enjoy a pleasant stay in the center of Barcelona.
I wanted to stay in Gracia so this was a great location. We arrived and departed from Barcelona Sants station and the L3 goes right there and it isn’t a far walk from the Lesseps metro. We booked a twin share as there weren’t any doubles available but I loved the room. It had a high ceiling, shelves/tables to put things and a wardrobe. I like a heavier blanket, not because I was cold but just because it’s a comfort thing. The shower could be a bit tricky to operate. But I’d book it again and recommend to others. We had a couple of noisy neighbours but that isn’t the hotel’s fault. Just inconsiderate guests. If you want modern, not the place for you. Also lots of great vegan options for us in the gracia area. Wonderful area to walk around
