We have seven beautiful guest bedrooms - all named after Clans associated with Ayrshire, each room with a different character and all offering a high standard of accommodation. Reviewed By C3944KKcarolinepI really enjoyed my stay. The guest house is set in a peaceful, leafy part of the town and had all the facilities you could need. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with a massive comfy bed which I was sad to leave behind! The room had all that you could need, including a walk in wardrobe, nice en-suite and coffee/tea area including a china cup and saucer. The staff were also lovely and genuinely helpful. I had paid £6 for an options breakfast and expected it to be continental for that price - but a full cooked breakfast was on offer, as well as variations such as Eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. A central buffet area complimented this with cereals, yoghurt and fruit. Really couldn’t fault the place and was most impressed. Very good value all round.

Reviewed By ryanmC6184MG10/10. Best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. Would highly recommend. Trying to book a local hotel in the area but everywhere was booked up. This bed and breakfast was a great find. Much better than any hotel I would have got. If I'm ever out this way again I know where I'll be staying. The place is spotless, the bed is comfy and the breakfast is outstanding.

Convenient for public transport, bus, train and Prestwick airport. Local attractions include castles, farm parks suitable for all ages and over 40 top class links golf courses. Wide choice on breakfast menu of locally sourced food. Free wifi and parking. The personal service and warm Scottish welcome separates this guest house from others.

Reviewed By FarrfromnormalWe visited Ayr for the races and stayed at The Burnside for two nights. The guesthouse is in a peaceful location 10 minutes walk from the centre of town but very near the coast, in fact we stayed in the room at the top of the house and witnessed beautiful sunsets over the Isle of Arran. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, linen sheets and great pillows! Breakfast was promptly served and delicious. Thank you Paul

Super clean fresh and such a comfy bed. Super friendly John who advised on routes to walk, where to eat and just some passing friendly chat. Alfie was a super host too with a friendly wag now n again. Will defo use again and recommend to others ?

Reviewed By NewpuppyThe property is absolutely stunning, beautiful well kept gardens, our room the Silken Beige was spotlessly clean. Annie goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible and is warm and welcoming. On arrival, Annie showed us around and had left a bottle of wine and chocolates in the room fridge for us, as well as treats to have with our coffee. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection, plentiful and the best orange juice I have had in a long while. This luxury B&B deserves every success, we couldn't recommend high enough. We wish Annie & George all the very best for the future. We will be back, thank you so much Annie x

The Victorian B listed property is based in one of Ayr's conservation areas, at the property we have 3 rooms all based on the ground floor. When staying with us all guests have full use of our kitchen, seated areas. back patio and garden areas. We are located within a 5 minute walk of the beach, train station, bus station and town centre. We offer an express check-in service providing door codes before arrival to allow guests to check in at anytime after 14:00. If you require an earlier check in or later check out please let us know. A family run bed and breakfast with experience going back a generation in the hotel trade. We take pride in being able to offer our guests the best possible stay at a competitive rate. Barns B&B unlike other accommodations does not have live in staff with certain areas of the property unavailable, we are bespoke to our guests needs offering unrivalled peace and privacy. We the owners live above the property and are available anytime and are always happy to answer any queries you may have or provide you with local information and our own recommendations. Just let us know :) Quiet period residential area in central Ayr. Within 5 minute walk of Ayr's Bus/Train Stations, Ayr Town Centre, Highstreet, Taxi Rank and Beach. Also within walking distance of multiple local Restaurants, Pubs, Clubs and Coffee Shops. We have space for motor bikes and push bikes and are very popular with bikers. Fantastic stay

The house is in a lovely street with some beautiful houses, the street is quiet and less than 10 minutes walk from Ayr train station. Our room (room 3) was large, bright with a large bathroom, mini fridge with fresh milk and water, kettle Azera coffee and tea. There is a large kitchen for everyone’s use with another fridge and fully fitted, it was very clean with nice views to the garden. The whole house and rooms are extremely clean. Any staff we met were very nice and chatty, the location was great and having stayed here now I would not stay anywhere else in Ayr.

Reviewed By victorialU2566OJStayed here from the 18th-21st of June. We had a few issues with our rooms at the start but it was quickly resolved. Occasionally somethings where missed when ordering food and drinks therefore did not arrive. However these were minor issues that were all resolved quickly and possibly just due to new staff. I took part in the archery on Friday the 18th with only one other person and the instructor, who was very helpful and recommended us to book the quad bikes. The quad bikes are definitely well worth the £50! There were also 2 of the restaurant staff that we got on very well with.
