Reviewed By biker030We had a family room which had two rooms and a bath. The rooms were clean and well maintained, The rooms were wood panelled so appeared a bit dark but i guess they work for the cold. The hotel does not have an onsite restaurant but there are restaurants nearby that can offer lunch and dinner. A tasty breakfast was served at the hotel. Parking could be a concern if you have a car but since we were on motorcycles, the hotel organised a parking across the road in a secure lot.

“Yangzom Hotel” is located in the sylvan surroundings of Urgelling village, the birthplace of H.H. The Vi Dalai Lama. It is only 6-minute drive from Tawang town. The rooms are spacious, elegant and contemporary in design with spectacular views of tranquil nearby hamlets and far-off mountain ranges.
Wonderful experience
Reviewed By om310We stayed in Hotel Yangzom for 3 nights while in Tawang. We stayed in the stand alone cottage which is in the hotel premise. And our stay was wonderful. The cottage was very well maintained, lots of storage space, and a great view all around. There is a little kitchenette with a two seater dining table and a seating area with sofas. The food was good, homely, and was served in the cottage whenever required. The staff boys were very helpful and responsive, running around all the time. The breakfast buffet needs a little uplifting, items were getting exhausted and not being replaced fast enough. But the owner, Ms Yangzom herself, was always around to check up on everything, and in constant contact with her guests. The only drawback was a total lack of wifi/ net, which was very sketchy, at best.

Reviewed By swechhakI stayed in Dirang Beauty Cottages in April'22 for a nigh...wish I had extended it for a nyt more.. Its a new property and has around 8 cottages that are beautifully done and has all basic amenities as well. When I was researching for a stay in dirang, this was one property that everyone gave good reviews for. I m glad I chose it. The owner was nice, helpful and extremely good to talk to. Car parking is available. Its just around a 5 minute drive from the main highway and you will have to park your car just before the bridge. You ll have to cross this beautiful bridge to reach the property. Dont worry about the luggage as the property owner sends in help for the same. The food was nice and not too expensive and the views were to die for.. Dirang fort was nearby....a small hike which again was absolutely serene. The only negaticve was that the room size was a bit on the smaller size, but considering all other positives, this can be ignored.

The one stuck at the middle
Reviewed By CDATTAWhat we disliked most about this hotel is its location - right in the middle of the bazaar. Our room did not have any view. The window opened to a wall. ? The wooden walls are a like it or hate it thing. In a darker room, you won't certainly appreciate them. What we liked: 1. Service is good. Prompt and with a smile. 2. The decks overlooking the valley were really great. 3. The location had its advantages of being very close to restaurants and shops.

Reviewed By Garlic BAlthough their rooms were small the service they provided were excellent. The interaction of the Hotel staff was good. Resources were limited but the quality of food was good.It was like homemade food. Good hotel I probably suggest it for future travelers.

Col.Fredrick Nicholson Betts and Mrs.Ursula Graham Bower on 21th Jan.2013 who founded Subansiri District on 25th Dec.1946, fondly known as Soping-Yaper among community of Nyish and Apatani.Siiro Resort is built with fully thick log natural of pine trees which work as energy conservation benefits of thermal mass and slowly release heat overtime where heating system is working well and can feel comfortable in winter. Resort is located at Siiro village on the way to Talley Valley, scenic grassland which is surrounded by the natural forests with full of grown blue pine trees and which is 2.5 km away from Hapoli. Further, the area is part of extension of Hapoli Township.Because it is situated in Siiro village, the tourist can get chance to have a closer view of rich Apatani culture and experience tribal life style in true sense. One can see Tarin Fish farm which is a walk able distance from the Resort where breeding of beautiful high altitude fishes is done. After crossing the Siiro Resort we reach Dilopolyang-Manipolyang, beneath the twin hillocks lies paddy fields and in the middle of the fields flows a small river (KELE).

Reviewed By purrkumarRoads in and around Ziro are terrible which gives an impression that Siiro Resort is on the outskirts of the city, specially if you are arriving in the evening. The hotel is very beautiful, situated against the backdrop of mountains. The rooms are big- book a suite if possible-and washrooms even bigger. However, as the hotel is made of wood, it gets chilly at night but an extra heater is available if needed. The food is tasty- do try their Veg Thupka. Staff is extremely courteous and you can ask them for guides/taxis to take you around the valley.

Reviewed By X7964NYarunkStayed in the hotel for one night during our visit to Tawang along with a group of 10 family friends. Although small , but the hotel is very comfortable for peaceful stay. The rooms are well equipped. The restaurant attached to hotel provides delicious dishes. Since we wanted to leave bit early around 6.00 am , the hotel supplied us packets of breakfast with sandwiches . Service is equally good.
