This hotel has an eclectic style with a dash of 5 star hospitality. There is a refreshing pool but the view of the countryside steals the show. You'll awaken to birdsong and enjoy the hum oh honeybees gathering pollen from the wildflowers. Have a glass of wine in the garden and peruse the interesting antiques collections. The staff is warm and friendly and makes you feel at home.

The old Building is very charming with the Garden and the swiming pool. Rooms are renewed, and fair good. Breakfast is really great, everything is home made especially the marmelades. Restaurant is OK,

Our hotel restaurant is located in the heart of Provence, a region with a thousand fragrances, sunny for most of the year. Oraison, a town in the countryside, halfway between sea and mountain, will bring you rest and relaxation in its calm legendary. The hotel offers rooms in the colors of Provence. Room with or without air conditioning for hot days (On request of reservation with supplement). Our traditional quality restaurant, terrace service facing the pool or indoors welcomes you every day lunch and dinner. A seminar room, which can accommodate up to 50 people in theater, with equipment is available on request. Multiple events can be organized, such as weddings, baptisms, birthdays ... or simply a group meal (free for the driver). The hotel also offers a wellness room with a jacuzzi and sauna, as well as massages, on reservation.
The name suggests a quaint old Provençal Manor House, which could not be further from the reality...the establishment is a recent modern building lacking in charm, but this compensated for by the warm welcome of the family running the place, and their lovely dog. They try very hard to make you feel at home, with barbecue style cooking and delicious local produce. The pool was undergoing renovation but should now be operational. A good option after a day in the Valensole lavender fields

Stayed for 3 nights in this magical and beautiful Bastide. Driving up to the entrance and gate you get a feeling you travel back in time. The rooms, hallway and dining room are beautifully renovated: you get all the modern comfort but still have the feeling you are visiting a genuine castle. The facilities outside and near the swimming pool are very nice. The view from the swimming pool and rooms alone are worth a visit. But this all is nothing without the helpful, friendly en amazing hosts Virginie and Manuel. They were such a great help and very thoughtful because of our little baby traveling with us. Besides, the genuine French dinners are a real treat. Some of the pictures I see on trip advisor are a little outdated and from my memory the Bastide was renovated even more and better. So I added some of my own pictures.

Auberge De Famille , Simple Et Convivial. Cuisine Provençale. Cochon De Lait A La Broche Tout Les Dimanche A Partir Du 1 Er Mai Jusqu'au 15 Septembre.
We had lunch there while traveling through les Gorges du Verdon. The smell of a mechoui brought us there for the meal. It was a good decision. The full menu, including wine, dessert and coffee was reasonably priced at 25 euros/pers. Service was friendly. it is well situated at midpoint of the Gorges road and with a good view

having a property in Allos, we have recommended this hotel to our family for a short winter break (rental of 3 bedrooms, 10 persons, between Christmas and New year celebration. Due to Covid issue (one of the kid of the group), trip has been cancelled the day of arrival. We have shared and explained the issue to the hotel, and requested for a report of the nights, even in a less touristic period. It has been refused by the hotel manager. Worst, the hotel admit that booked rooms was rented (all of them). This is really unfair to not have compensated at least a part of the rooms that was anyway not lost for the hotel.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom gite here for 4 nights in May 2013. The gite itself was clean, comfortable, well made and well-equipped. Guillaume was a pleasure to deal with. The location is really quite close and convenient to to Forcalquier, and best accessed from there. However, we found the site so peaceful, we just sat on our verandah, read our books and looked a the scenery. Our attached photo perhaps shows why! I happen to be an amateur astronomer, and Forcalquier is near the major French observatory. Les Anes itself has a beautiful dark sky full of stars at night! We did not choose to do the donkey activities, but we did not feel they were necessary to a completely enjoyable stay.

What a refreshing delight to experience Calou and Frank's love for sharing. Sharing their home, sharing their exquisite wine and food, sharing their life experiences and hold that space for us, unknown visitor. From the email I received about what Calou and Frank has available on the dates I wanted to stay, I was touched by the sincerity of their approach which made me felt welcome even before I got there. Diner in the beautifully decorated kitchen made me feel at home and having Frank's parents visiting at the same time participated to the family feeling I had. Frank and his dad are such story tellers...The experience was exquisitely fun! I had the chance to stay in the room called La Citerne which was like traveling back through time and oh... that bath tub was just grandiose :-) Lovely, welcoming, open and fun people, magic home and energy! I am looking forward to go again there to spend at least one week or two as there is also so much nature to explore around there in the Gorges du Verdon... and a special wink to Calou as indeed Moustier is an amazingly beautiful town. Thank you again for the magic experience. Laetitia

This family friendly hotel with restaurant ideally located between sea and ski is opened all year long to propose you the charms of the low mountain range. Landscapes will take your breath away and will offer you beautiful hiking trails. Whether for a weekend or to spend your holidays, we welcome you within our hotel where we shall do our best to satisfy you.
The lad serving us was really friendly but from the menu to the table the ‘steak’ had managed to magically transform itself into a raw cold burger... so 10/10 for meal entertainment. For 10.0€ you could say its value for money but to put things into perspective; you can buy a McDonalds burger (cooked) with lettuce and decent chips for 3€..: For a 4,5 stars rated restaurant experience I was left rather underwhelmed.

"Les Grandes Mollieres" a bed and breakfast in a former coaching inn from the 17TH century, in the heart of Provence. Between field of lavender and wild landscape you will find the peace and quiet offered by the Haute Provence. During your stay in our spacious and friendly rooms in a Provencal spirit will offer you peace and rest, Cathy will offer around her table d ' hotes meal prepared with produce terroirs and season. Mediterranean cuisine that sings the Sun!
The location alone would make this a good place to stay. I arrived early and sat in a comfortable outdoors armchair under the gazebo reading my book while I was not admiring the view over Les Penitents at Les Mées. Cathy is very welcoming, the building (old and massive stone) interesting and clean, comfortable kingsize bed in large room, nice en-suite shower room and separate loo, garage for bikes. Supper started with apéritif vin de pêche and tapenade on toasted bread -delicious. Main meal was ok accompanied by generous wine - rosé or red. Everyone present at meal was cycling. Breakfast ok though bread a bit dry. Some have commented about difficult access but it is fine now - the road to the house has now been tarmacced. The wifi only works near the router because of the thick stone walls, but Cathy moved it to be as convenient as poss for me.
