This was the first time we stayed at the Amish View and it will not be the last time . Everything was clean and the view was great . The breakfast fare was plentiful and good . My husband left a shirt there , we called and they mailed it to us. All the staff were friendly and nice , they were always cleaning, even mopping the pool area .

Peaceful, pretty, relaxing. Every staff member was better than the next. So welcoming and helpful. A little dated, but brings back many good memories. The grounds are kept beautiful, rooms are all interesting. Pool area was fun and Dina did a great job entertaining everyone. Music, island like and just a wonderful spot.

Is there a 10 star option? Everything you could want in a hotel! I have no idea how they found this many nice people with true hospitality in this day and age. “Sugar” will lead you to breakfast and make you eat - and you will thank her later. The best breakfast buffet ever. And it’s free. Not the best free continental, not the best hotel buffet, the best buffet. If you could see it you wouldn’t skip it. What’s your fav breakfast food? It’s there. Crispy bacon, hash browns from actual potatoes, fresh made omelettes! Actual.Nice.People. Everywhere! Front desk, cleaning, restaurant, bar. I have status with Hilton - and this is next level. Disney world style niceness. Free parking in the parking deck. Late check out? No problem. Can I have foam pillows? Sure, I will send 2 people to your room within 5 minutes to change the pillows and bedding. Business rooms were nice, and even the public bathrooms were clean. The style is beautiful. Everything is clean. Food is delicious. And did I mention the people are nice? Wish I had more reasons to come to Reading PA.

Very nice accommodations. Indoor pool and hot tub was great. We needed some towels and the staff had them at our room in five minutes. Most places are not that prompt. The kids loved the bunk beds. The beds were comfortable. I hope to stay here again.

Guests gather at the Carnivale Racquet and Swim Club for swimming, billiards and arcade games. Pros: 1) Staff was very accommodating and pleasant, service was great. However, they failed to make up our room on day 2 even though we had the "card" in the door. 2) game room was good, loved the short lane bowling. 3) Room was unique.. we had the "Garden of Eden" room with heart shaped jacuzzi, with personal sauna and dip pool. Rooms have no windows which is a plus for privacy. Cons: 1) Not very good value unless going at a peak time where there is more participation in activities and overall # of clients, 2) nightly entertainment was bad due to lack of people, felt bad for the singers/guitarist playing "requests" for 6 people in the bar, 3) the place is dated.. they told me that was on purpose (that 70's feel), but still looked very aged. You can be retro without looking dated and old., 4) alcoholic drinks are EXPENSIVE, I understand not being included in the "all inclusive" rate (which is just breakfast and dinner), but at least include soda/pop. Overall we made it what we could, and did some golf (Country Club of Poconos) and hiked Bushkill Falls, as well as visited local winery which were the highlights of the trip. Would I go back.. maybe... but would try one of the other resorts in the group.

This was one of the nicest hotels for a conference/convention that I've ever been to. The rooms were comfortable. If you want a quieter room, I suggest requesting one facing out rather than facing the courtyard, although the views for those are lovely. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is the bathroom was very small. Everything else was topnotch.

Great and beautiful resort. Excellent service and delicious food. Two couples traveled and had fun on the ATV tour too. Grounds and the pool are so perfect. We each enjoyed spa treatments as well and they were fantastic. The other couple have been there several times before and my girlfriend and me would now highly recommend it.

Skytop is a great place for a special occasion celebration. Its quiet enough in early June(minimal kids) Ample activites( fee for most) and the resaurants have great service and food. Be wary of The Library lounge and expensive cocktails. Rabbithole rye old fashion was 29$ yikes! Not justified. All in all a good experience in lodge accommodations and Windsor dining. Trying Lakeview tonite. Review to follow.
